Guest Reviews
- Richard (10/5): Definitely will be staying here again ! - Ideal location- clean - really really friendly home owner Nothing

- Liam (10/5): Brilliant stay really quiet. - Brilliant place to stay really nice and clean and Dan the host always messaged straight back if I had any questions they was really nice inside I booked the room next door the night after which was even better! The hallways and outside the building could do with cleaning regularly.
- joanna (9/5): -
- Louis (10/5): - we had a great stay at Dans property when there for new year. No issues with the stay, and Dan responded quick to any questions. The close corridor wasn't as bad as other reviews stated, again just needed a lick of paint some areas could do with a lick of paint, but other than that no issues.
- Anthony (10/5): - Overall was brilliant stay. Happy with everything.
- Chelsea (10/5): -
- Richard (6/5): Very handy for us thanks - Close to station. Private, clean, responsive host. Sofa bed was temperamental and took a long time to get to work. Some traffic noise.
- M (10/5): -
- Ridge (6/5): -
- Susan (5/5): - Not much. The place was difficult to find in the dark, and its certainly not the 'white building' as stated in the directions. Place was cold and unwelcoming. The communal hallway is an absolute disgrace.....it needs a good clean! Despite being non smoking there was a stale smoking smell in the place. Wouldn't recommend nor come again.
- Deborah (9/5): - Great communication
- julian (1/5): -
- M (10/5): -
- Jane (7/5): - Lovely apartment with view of canal Very noisy road outside which didn’t ease up through the night.
Oven has 1 shelf which was frustrating for heating a ready meal for 2
- C (7/5): Straightforward - Great location , host easy to deal with Nothing
- Horace (5/5): - The flat is in a good location The stairway up to the flat is dirty with scuff marks all over the walls, and the steps are dirty.
The flat itself has single glazed windows, and so let a lot of draught in.
The kitchenware pots pans and cutlery need changing. The pans were scratched. They were non-stick pans, which have been scratched down to the metal and were rusting. The cooker hood was covered in dust.
The sofa bed was covered in stains, and the flat walls and window sils could do with a repaint.
The living room could do with a thorough clean. There were cobwebs on the ceiling.
- Melanie (8/5): Couple of little improvements would help but I would still stay here again as overall it was a lovely stay 😊 - Great location, very comfortable and host was very good in supplying precise information Although this had no negative impact on my stay I did feel the entrance and stairs were in very poor condition, definitely put me off on arrival
Overall the apartment was lovely but probably could do with an update of paint on doors/skirting boards/windows

- David (9/5): excellent stay in canalside conversion - We were cycling the canal, and so wonderful to have a flat in a canalside conversion. Got in easily with keys from a lock-box, flat is very clean and well-appointed, with a good kitchen, and sofa-bed is fine for an adult. Easy walk into town for food (the Palazzo is recommended), and easy walk to the station to get back to Leeds in the morning. Shared entrance hall and stairs were a bit shabby.
- Misha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (7/5): Good - It was quiet and close to everything. It had everything for the time we spent there. The 1 blind in the living room didn't work. In the bedroom the blind didn't block out the sun. Outside the apartment it was very untidy and required a good clean on the landing.
- Karen (9/5): Superb - Communal area
- Joanna (10/5): Lovely cozy apartment clean - Nice and cozy Nothing
- Nigel (7/5): Nice little apartment. Would stay again - Great location and host. Only a couple of thing I would change but would stay again. There was a funny smell inside the property like wet dog or something had to spray some air freshener. Dint know where it was coming from. Also the kitchen tap is leaking and constantly dripping. Apart from that everything else was great.
- Carol (1/5): Awful- really upset about it - It was dirty! The duvet cover was stained with brown marks. The area was dodgy and noisy.
- Philip (5/5): Passable -
- Jo (5/5): flat was clean and comfy - the instructions were detailed and just what we needed.
great location
flat was clean, a good shower, comfy bed and a good tv.
i asked for the sofa bed to be made up, which it was.
we only stayed 1 night which was just what we needed mainly it was the workmanship of the communal hall and flat which was disappointing.
communal flat: floor tiles coming off and banister rail with batten was also coming off the wall.
Flat door: there was a gap underneath, which then didn't make it a fire door. other tenants were smoking as you could smell it in the hallway.
Flat: a plug socket between the 2 window in the living room was loose and could hear all the noises from outside.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (1/5): Disappointed - Unfortunately we did not stay at this apartment Upon arrival there was no parking to be found anywhere. There is a parking bay for two cars outside but obviously first come first served basis. Youths hanging around under bridge that is directly to the side of building. After obtaining key from key box our apartment was up three flights of stairs passing bannister rails loose and hanging off aswell as carpet tiles missing and some loose tiles on stairs. We didn't stay at this apartment because by this point we didn't feel comfortable with the entrance, The hooded youths or the lack of anywhere to park the car. We did take a video of the staircase.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jawad (8/5): Good - Overall everything was good Recurring Hot Water Issue
issue with the hot water supply. On the second night of my stay, I experienced a lack of hot water and waited for several hours, but the issue remained unresolved. Unfortunately, the problem persisted into the morning, and there was still no hot water available.
- Bongani (8/5): Very good - Nice apartment. Windows need to close.
- Yannika (10/5): Exceptional - Host is very helpful, lovely space with a everything you need
- Karl (7/5): Good - Great place to visit Tv had only youtube working
- Everton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Everton (10/5): everything excellent - The accommodation was excellent, the apartment is very beautiful and cozy. The hosts are very kind and helpful, making everything better. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.
- Leila (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (10/5): Stayed here before and will definitely be back. - Nice and homely, very clean and smelt lovely when we walked in. Brilliant location 2 mins walk from train station and town is a 5 min walk away. Nothing bad to say.
- Misha (10/5): The host Dan is perfectly accommodating, facilities are great and no room for complaints. Always makes it a pleasant sta -
- Paula (7/5): Burnley apartment - Bed and pillows where very comfortable. Had everything in the apartment the host was brilliant. Great location. The only thing that let it down was the entrance and the stairs to the apartment it was very poor needs decorating and cleaning up.
- Chris (10/5): very decent apartment in burnley - Daniel. sorry for not messaging. I meant to let you know when we checked out. I should have said at 19am when we left and keys were in box. we left it as we found it. didn't use anything apart from toilet lol as is was a quick stay for footy game. but was very cool. great instructions thank you. I hope it works for you. building outside your apartment was filthy. but it looks like work was going on. but before we went into yours we had to take shoes off due to dust on floors.. would use again and recommend. great location for the turf and a I night stay. I hope you were happy with us. cheers. chris apartment clean. communal areas filthy
- Michael (3/5): Needed some attention, otherwise don’t sell it in the winter - Like a fridge , bitterly cold. All 3 of the windows were single glazed and fitted so poorly that you could feel a draught.
- Christine (10/5): Nice cozy and clean property. - The property was very clean and cozy.
Only a 10-15 minute walk from the football stadium You can only park outside the property at certain times. However there is additional parking nearby.
- Steven (6/5): Fair budget accommodation - Reasonably priced. Easy check in and out. Nice bathroom and powerful shower The tv had no areal and my Netflix wouldn’t log in (not hosts fault). But because the correct tv remote wasn’t present the other apps wouldn’t work properly so only had BBC Iplayer to watch. There’s also a breeze that comes through the window next to the sofa so you get a constant chill while sitting there. Mattress was a bit springy (6ft built guy). The towels provided were very small. Bedding felt cheap.
BUT…. It was reasonably priced so can’t complain too much.
- Dave (4/5): Disappointing - The heating was good. The outer door of the premise would NOT close and anybody could walk in from outside.
The banister on the stairs was coming away from the wall and dangerous.
4 ceiling lights in bathroom but only one was working.
One bath towel per person. No hand towels.
The communal stairs were filthy..
There was only 40 minutes parking outside the premises, and in surrounding streets. The nearest free street was 10 mins. Walk away.
Exceptionally noisy due to traffic noise, and very poor window glazing.
Waste disposal area could only be described .as disgraceful.
There was no comparison between this, and other air b and bs we have stayed in. Could not recommend it.
- Keiron (10/5): Excellent - Location was perfect
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kompis (7/5): Good - The apartment is ok to stay for couple nights.
- Thomas (10/5): We had a lovely weekend and would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. - The property was lovely and clean on arrival. A little cold but soon warmed up when we put the heaters on. Can’t fault this property at all. 2 minutes walk from the train station and town was a short walk away too. Would absolutely stay here again. Had a little problem with the hot water but Dan was easy to contact and was happy to help with the situation quickly and professionally. Can’t fault our experience and will definitely be returning with our children in the next couple of weeks. With it being a listed building the windows are only single plains of glass so a little noisy but can’t be helped so it’s definitely not a complaint just a statement.
- Johnson (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing to dislike
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mathew (7/5): Bright clean appartment in a central area - Clean and comfortable Hooks to hang jackets in the apartment and towels rail/hooks in the bathroom would have been very useful. The bed was very bouncy and any movement of the ocupant disturbed the other person, so a firmer bed would have been nice. The entrance hall/stairs were dirty and shabby, but we didnt mind that much as the apartment was nice. It would have been nice to have had the heating on when we arrived as it was cold and took a long time to heat up.
- Latisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Uzma (10/5): Had an amazing stay would return and recommend - It had everything that was required N/a
- Uzma (10/5): Exceptional -
- M (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (10/5): a very comfortable stay in an excellent apartment - I liked the styling of the apartment, which provided all the necessary facilities. It was very comfortable, and the check-in instructions were easy to follow. The view from the windows was delightful. The second floor was a bit of a challenge for me.
- Emma (10/5): Excellent would recommend - Lovely clean spacious apartment
- Raheemah (10/5): Cosy place , perfect location - It was clean
Everything was correctly stated as it was in description
