• Paul-Robain (1/5): Une grosse déception - N'ayant pas accédé à l'appartement, je peux rien dire à ce sujet Alors que j'avais réservé quelques heures avant mon arrivée, je me suis rendu en taxi à l'appartement peu avant minuit. Personne ne nous a reçu, malgré les coups de téléphones, les messages whatsApp laissés et la sonnerie à la porte. Nous avons dû faire des longs tours dans la nuit dans la ville de Rome et nous n'avons pu trouver le logement qu'à 3 heures du matin. Ce qui nous a entraîné une facturation excessive du taxi et accru la fatigue en plus de celle liée au voyage.
• Roberto (1/5): No invierten y esta todo viejo y roto. - Cocina sin equipacion, no tiene ni microondas, ni cafetera, ni tostadora, ni lavavajillas..... En los baños los wc estan sin tapas, ni para sentarte. Las duchas con los desagües taponados. Te quedas con las manillas de las puertas en la mano y te tienen que abrir del otro lado. Los dormitorios son amplios, hay persianas y las camas son grandes pero viejas, las butacas que hay se le salen los muelles. Olvidense de los sofas camas, es mejor dormir en el suelo. La ubicación esta muy apartada de todo, lo mas cercano es el Vaticano y a 50 minutos andando. No hay paradas de Bus y Metro cercanas. Cuidado porque después de reservar me querian cobrar por sabanas y toallas, solo pague las tasas ya que es lo que pone en el anuncio.
• Elly (4/5): READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING THIS - Location was good, some nice restaurants within walking distance, and a few bars, small shop opposite & bus stops, no 32 takes you directly to the Vatican area or to Stad Olympio ( although this is a short walk, 20mins, away) We discovered a lot of maintenance issues especially with plug sockets hanging off , one in particular is directly under the headboard of the end bedroom, potentially very dangerous), windows disclose properly & some bedroom doors wouldn't shut, leak from toilet in small bathroom & in general need of maintenance to the window. The kitchen items are lacking for the amount of people ( we were 8 ), no toaster or microwave & the oven was dirty. In general the place is in need of a very deep clean & painting, .Some beds were ok 2 very uncomfortable, only a thin duvet & no spare blanket. Payment: On the booking site it said total payment, I knew the city tax would be separate which is normal but then was asked for an additional 80€ for linen, when I questioned this he said It was normal & I told him I was not happy but paid as could not risk loosing the apartment, This payment should be advised & having read other reviews it seems to be standard to the hosts, also as others have said I was offered a discount if I paid everything via PayPal, OBVIOUSLY HE IS TRYING TO AVOID PAYING THE BOOKING.CIM FEES. All I can add is if you want to use this apartment go in with an open mind .
• Pietro (1/5): Vera schifezza - La posizione Accoglienza cortesia il sistema cekin ho prenotato per 2 notti una volta arrivati non siamo potuto entrare e dormire dopo aver provato varie volte e chiudere informazioni nessuno mi ha risposto costretti a dormire in auto con una persona oncologica al mattino dopo tanti tentativi mi hanno risposto dove dicevano che funzionava tutto e mi diceva di essere ignorante alle 13.00 e arrivato una persona per farmi vedere la funzione come infatti gli ho fatto vedere come avevo fatto la sera precedente e la porta si è aperta come mai poi il responsabile mi aveva detto che mi faceva la richiesta di rimborso ma fino adesso niente poi una volta a casa ho fatto io la richiesta e su € 615 mi hanno offerto € 48 a me sembra un elemosina cq io non prenoto mai più con Bucking.

Nei bagni mancano addirittura le seggette per il wc e le chiavi delle porte. Si segnala anche la mancanza di una luce da notte nelle camere e doppio cuscino

• Shafqat (3/5): Be careful with hidden charges and direct payment request from the owner - Apartment is big and location is good. I booked this apartment for 6 adults and 4 children, and the total price shown at the time of booking was €245 (€203 + €42 city tax). I paid €203 upfront, expecting to pay the remaining €42 as city tax upon arrival. However, once the booking was confirmed, the host suddenly demanded €160 via PayPal (claiming €60 for city tax and €100 for linen charges). He also suggested giving me a discount if I cancelled my booking through Booking.com and paid him everything in cash directly — a very suspicious request. When I tried to speak with him for clarification, he refused to talk. Once he realised I was not Italian, he sent rude messages and kept insisting that I must pay the extra €160. I couldn’t cancel the booking because it was non-refundable. He charged for linen, yet there were no proper blankets in the apartment. It was cold, and we spent the whole night awake. Our children could not sleep because there were no blankets provided. There was also no soap, shampoo, or basic amenities. Although there were AC units in every room, they were not sufficient to warm the place. Overall, this was a very disappointing and uncomfortable stay. I do not recommend this apartment.

The hotel owner tried to charge us unexpected and unjustified extra fees upon arrival (e.g. for towels, sheets, or other services that were never mentioned during booking). Despite paying in advance via the booking platform, they demanded additional payments in cash and refused to provide any official invoice or explanation. When we questioned the charges, the host became aggressive and uncooperative. This behavior is dishonest and completely unprofessional. In our experience, this was a clear scam attempt. We have already reported this incident to the platform and local authorities. Do not risk your money or peace of mind here. Warning – Fraudulent Behavior by Hotel Owner I strongly advise against booking this place. • Ma (2/5): Very poor - The apartment is spacious; it has 5 bedrooms and 6 beds, which is great if you're traveling in a group, and the beds were comfortable. It has two bathrooms. It has air conditioning in every room, which also includes a heating function. It is quite close to the Vatican. It wasn't cleaned well; there was a lot of dust on the side table, headboard, and chairs, to name a few. There is not enough closet space in the closet rack. The pillows were too soft; the host should provide firmer pillows as options. The water takes a while to heat up, and it is not possible to bathe simultaneously in either bathroom or use water while someone else is bathing because the water gets cold. There are no towel racks in the bathrooms. The heater also wasn't working, but we figured out that the air conditioning unit has a heating function. The host belatedly told me that the building has a central heating system, (but whenever we returned, we never find it working), and that the air conditioning unit has a heating function.

A great appartment for a large group and super location too. - The appartment is in a fabulous location, walkable to a Metro station, a little convenience shop opposite and we found a couple of very Italian, very reasonably priced restaurants just a short stroll away. The appartment is huge! Plenty big enough for all of us. There is a kitchen with basic facilities, we ate out most of the time. The appartment was clean, though the smaller bathroom was tired looking. Goven the proce we paid, this did not affect us

• Makoni (10/5): Exceptional - CHECK IN AND OUT METHOD WAS EXCELLENT. PLACE WAS SPIC AND SPAN. COMMUNICATION WAS VERY EFFICIENT. EXCELLENT. The trip from airport: the taxi dropped off the pilgrims at the wrong address. HE ASKED THEM IN ITALIAN WHETHER THEY HAD ARRIVED. THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE. WE KINDLY ASK THAT FOR NEXT TIME, THE DRIVER SHOULD ASK THR CIVIC ADDRESS SO AS TO DROP PEOPLE AT THE PROPER ADDRESS. NB. THE FOLLOWING DAY THE DRIVER WHO CAME TO FERRY PEOPLE TO THE AIRPORT WAS VERY GOOD AND HELPFUL. HE HELPED US TO GET A TAXI FOR 8 PEOPLE BECAUSE WE HAD WRONGLY BOOKED FOR 7 PEOPLE. THIS CONSOLED US AND CURED THE PAIN OF THE PREVIOUS DAY
