- Roderick (7/5): -
- Peter (8/5): Great view, quiet location and comfortable cosy house. - Great views, quiet location. Cody atmosphere, horses to pat
- Susan (6/5): Gorgeous location but the property needs some maintenance. - Lovely location with gorgeous outlook. Missing curtain in a bedroom and bathroom light not working. Owner changed globe and offered to cover window with a sheet.

- Carolyn (7/5): Will definitely return, nice place for some peace and quiet. - Location is great short drive to town with lots of fun shops and nice eateries. The views are lovely and the friendly horses love carrots.
Beds were very comfy and crisp and clean. Cleanliness in the kitchen left a bit to be desired, but ran everything through dishwasher and all fixed. Cupboards and draws in kitchen need a good wipe out.
Couldn’t log into wifi.
- Melissa (9/5): -
- Ruth (8/5): An unplugged stay, with insta worthy views! - It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Lots to do and explore on the property including board games, scooting and walk around the property to meet the horses or pick some fruit.
There were plenty of space, including a private ‘wing’. Had all the mod cons as well as a stunning antique cooker.
Lots of charming places to take photos from sunrise to sunset. It even has a perfect place to sit by a fire.
The views are spectacular!
You can see that Paul has put a lot of thought and effort with everything to make our stay comfortable which is highly appreciated. The property was well kept and had a lot of charm, but we realised that we’re just not used to a homestead style of stay and took us a little bit of time to get use to it.
- Jin (10/5): -
- Suzy (9/5): Lovely place for a family getaway, peaceful and comfortable - We loved the location of the property, the views and the open fire. It was lovely and picturesque
- Anna (7/5): Comfortable, quiet and well situated - great value for money! - The location was amazing and close to everything, the beds were super comfortable and the house was comfortable and well appointed. Good value for money as it is a little rustic but perfect for a family or friend getaway. Perhaps an enclosed area for dogs so they can run off lead and it will be great when the front deck is fully fenced as the views are incredible.
- Siobhan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherryn (9/5): Beautiful home, comfortable and a pleasure to wake up and eat breakfast with fresh air great views - Beautiful serene environment, and the owner was very pleasant to deal with. Our stay was easy, went smoothly and the facility was so well equipped that any guest would enjoy it, from families to couples. We don't have any negative feedback from our stay
- Jean (10/5): Overall our stay was excellent. - Breakfast was not included but we didn't expect it to be. Milk, coffee and tea were provided which was very welcome. The toaster didn't work property.
Also we had difficulty with the TV
- Melitta (9/5): A perfect retreat for the family and dog. Peaceful with great views and everything you need. - Such a perfect house for our family and dog. The location is excellent for visiting the nearby towns and a perfect stopover on our journey south. Plenty to do at the house with games and scooters and watching the animals and views. Nothing
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Views on Verandah Nothing
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philippa (10/5): Just loved the views and sense of country. All family members including the dog were happy. - The location was perfect, near Yackandandah if you needed anything, got stores in Beechworth. Having access to barbeque and cooking facilities made our day. All family members happy, including the dog; bonus having heating on when we arrived, most appreciated. Layout of house awesome and plenty of shelter when raining. Enjoyed the open fire. Bonus was a thunderstorm rolling around the ranges, then woke up to mist retreating from river valleys. Probably the highlight of of our Victoria holiday Perfect
- Jamie (10/5): Overall a beautiful spot , close to town - Beautiful views & a perfect location Minimal car parking , barbecue was broken , no firewood for the open fires
- Kristie (10/5): Would highly recommend! - Paul was a fantastic host and so helpful.
A Big Thankyou for organising the return of not 1 phone charger but 4!!
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Silvia (10/5): A peaceful and enjoyable stay! A real hidden tread! - The views, the peace and quiet which allows you to regenerate and recharge NA
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - Quiet location with relaxing views.
Located just north of town with easy access. Signage at the front of the property.
Easy to miss the entrance at night.
- Cheryl (8/5): Very good - The views.
Roomy. The road noise
- Mary (8/5): Great location, very comfortable home with great views, we really enjoyed our stay - Great location, not far from Yackandandah. Very comfortable home, the beds were very comfortable. Fantastic sunrise views of the eastern end of the front deck. Really lovely location with great views from most windows. Slow water flow from kitchen tap - all other taps had great water pressure - not sure what was causing this problem but the house was generally well maintained so I am sure the owner was onto it.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- John (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast was not included In the description it was stated; Airconditioning. What it did not say that it was only the living room, the bedrooms were hot!
The entrance to the property is not signposted, not even a street number that would tell the visitor they have arrived at the right place.
- Rosemary (10/5): Very comfortable, relaxing and well catered for by our host. - The view of the mountains from every window such a treat. Very comfortable verandah furniture so to enjoy morning tea and watch the bird life going about their day. Could have done with the property number on the letterbox or somewhere visable from the road.
- Slater (6/5): In spite of short comings - the property was very comfortable and had sensational views. - Sensational location ... A fan which worked in the kitchen would have made a big difference. Lighting in a couple of the bedrooms was poor. The second bathroom was basic and showers were an adventure, very hot one moment cold the next!
- Dominica (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful house, beautiful spot.
- Strickland (9/5): Great location to base surrounding site seeing. -
- John (8/5): Very good - Great views. Cute place with a really nice vibe to it Not much to not like. I'd recommend it for a family stay.
- Darren (8/5): Great place for a couple of nights and longer. - Location is great to explore the North East, King Vally and wineries to the east. Lots of space for families & groups both indoors & outdoors. fantastic views, uncover parking. BBQ, we didn't use as it was rusty and needed a quick clean.
- Sofia (9/5): A peaceful house with modern facilities and delightful grazing horses - A spacious house with 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms, so perfect for a group of friends. We really enjoyed the large balcony, where we could sit and watch the horses graze in the morning, and the kitchen facilities, which had everything we needed. There are also plenty of communal spaces to watch TV or play a board game. The property is a few kilometres out of town, so it is very peaceful and secluded. The horses in the nearby paddocks are an absolute delight, and we appreciated the covered parking and verandah, since it was pouring with rain when we first arrived. 1) The driveway is quite hard to spot and curves at a sharp angle to the road, so make sure you slow right down or you will miss it. Unfortunately, there is no signage to indicate the entrance.
2) The main bedroom would benefit from some blockout curtains for sensitive sleepers.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Russell (8/5): Very good -
- Brialey (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely house - perfect for a comfortable vacation of any length. Many thoughtful extras and very well fitted out.
Beautiful views, easy to find. Quiet but not far from town.
- Alexandra (9/5): A restful scenic bliss. - We had a wonderful stay as the property. While on a main road, it sat away from it and elevated so we had stunning views of the ranges. The log fire was stocked and selection of areas to enjoy the sun and the views meant we had the most peaceful and relaxing time. It is also a short walk into town, which meant we could wonder in for breakfast or lunch easily. Nothing.
- Esther (7/5): Peaceful, homely weekend away - Amazing views, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of seating and space. Still some hairs and toothpaste splatters in ensuite from last guests, didn’t ruin our stay but worth mentioning. Some soap bottles close to empty
- Robyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claireysan (8/5): Very good - Incredible views, great location, easy to get in and out, perfect for two couples, a baby and a dog :)
- Frank (8/5): Highly recommended for a quiet country getaway; very close to the beautiful historic high country towns of Yackandandah -
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (10/5): Country living with beautiful mountain views, short drive to Yackandandah - Lovely views, comfortable home and beds. Host was great communicator and most helpful.
- Kirra (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely views, nicer inside than photos suggest
- Glenn (7/5): Good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Libby (9/5): Superb -
- Tristan (8/5): Great little farm property with a view just a couple of minute drive from Yackandandah! - Host communication was amazing, the location was perfect just a short 2 minute drive out of Yackandandah. The views were also incredible and we loved the open fireplace. It would've been nice if there were a few extra wine and champagne glasses - but we are being picky! It was a perfect little property with everything you need for a weekend away.
- Sue (4/5): For not a lot of expense or effort and a quiet water pressure pump it could be presentable. - Good location. Beds very comfortable. Very nice outlook with great views. The house had “issues”. The electric water pressure pump was very loud and unfortunately there was water “seepage”. Definitely not caused by us. It was happening when we arrived. It came on about every 2mins 40 seconds. We all had virtually no sleep. One of the 2 showers was so weak it couldn’t be used. The dish washer and oven didn’t work. Cleanliness was below standard. I think the toilet cistern was the cause of the water seepage.
