• Mark (5/5): Disappointing. Could do so much better. Not a luxury apartment - The property is spacious. The amenities were not up to scratch. No glasses, tea towels. Neglected regarding the cleaning.
• Chloe (1/5): Disapointed - Nothing Looked nothing like photos, bed broken , hadn’t been cleaned, broken tiles , stained sofa beds. Looked like someone had been living in there. Broken tiles in bathroom , water wouldn’t drain properly from bath/shower. Once told the person who we have booked that the bed was broken his reply was sleep on the floor or on the stained sofa beds. Did get a refund but not the point
• Veronique (4/5): The flat was just not up to expectations with a lots of missing items. - It was convenient location and easy to walk to the town centre The flat was not very clean, there was not enough cutlery not tea spoon only 2 forks, no glasses and some broken plates. The bath evacuations was blocked and the mattress was a bit tired. As we drove there , the street parking area mostly permit holder so it is really hard to park the car (not at night but in the day)
• adam (1/5): uncomfortable, dirty and frustrating stay, never ever again! - very little, location was ok. Host communication was extremely poor, place was filthy, stains on most furniture, front door had been kicked in at some stage and not repaired/wasn't secure, furniture didn't match the photos online, bed was extremely uncomfortable and had old crusty sheets (same as the towels). Window hinges were broken and unable to be closed/locked, bath drain didn't work (showered in ankle deep water), TV remote was broken etc, etc etc..., I could do on and on. Check in process was horrible, have to travel to the corner store, host essentially unavailable and extremely rude when contacted. a truly horrible stay.

Contactamos con el propietario de este alojamiento una hora antes del check in. Fue muy escueto y ni siquiera sabía de nuestra reserva. Ya nos dio mala sensación de buenas a primeras pero cuando entramos en el alojamiento estaba todo hecho una pocilga. El propietario nos dijo que la limpiadora se había equivocado de piso y que venía en breves. Se presentó una hora más tarde. Por suerte al final nos ofreció una devolución del importe y nos buscamos otro alojamiento.

• Janel (4/5): Great location but management and the cleaniness does not derserve the title of being a “luxury apartment” - The location was great 5 mins car journey from bullring, corner shop across the road Firstly, the host lacked communication. I booked the accommodation 2 weeks prior to my stay. I messaged the host and he told me that check in instructions would be released at 2:50pm. I had to wait 40 mins to get through to him as he wasn’t responding to the Airbnb app nor was he responding to his calls. When he finally responded he said that he would go and check if the Airbnb is ready which would be 10mins however that turned into 30mins which I gather that the property was not ready for our arrival. When we entered the place it was fairly clean however little things like stains on the couch and dining chairs, no spoons, the WiFi not working and no toilet roll put me off. Additionally, the washing machine was running with someone else clothes and there was already used ingredients in the fridge. It was one of my worst airbnb that I’ve stayed in.

• T (8/5): Great stay, great place! - Spacious and tidy and great location if you are planning to spend time around hip Digbeth end of Birmingham city. Adim was helpful and flexible, especially given he had had a plumbing crisis with the apartment the night before, but worked hard to get it all sorted so I could access the apartment asap. Shower was good and all the amenities available within the apartment. If I had to say anything, it would be that the apartment is obviously quite popular, and as a result there is a bit of wear and tear where things could do with replacing or deep clean IE coffee table, bathroom bin, sofa fabric, but that's always to be expected with a popular booking. But it was very clean and tidy and comfortable and great location. If some of the provisions were slightly higher quality it would give the place more of a luxury feel IE shower gel, but I brought my own anyway.

• Safwan (5/5): Passable - Location, easy check in, free parking on the street right outside Building entrance was unclean, flat smelt as you walked in, and continued into the living room, especially on the sofa. Bed was passable. Towels were like sandpaper, hand wash was non existent almost (last bits mixed with water), no shower gel or shampoo. Finishings felt very cheap, especially in the bathroom. Wouldn't class it as a luxury flat. Seems like it's a student building.

• M (4/5): It was a disappointing experience. The flat is new, the building is well maintained. There is so much potential, but the - 12-15 min walking distance from the centre Isn’t a nice review, and it’s a shame as the flat as an immense potential. Unfortunately the bed looked so untidy, didn’t looked as it was made from fresh. The bed sheet, pillow cases and duvet cover were shockingly wrinkled as they went straight from the dryer to the bed. I’ve escalated this to the person managing the property who replied that the bed linen is always clean. Better effort is required so they also look clean ( see image attached). In the bedroom, behind the wardrobe was folded duvet with a cover, that needs immediate washing! The shower tap that regulates the water temperature didn’t work, so we couldn’t have a hot shower in the morning. I’ve escalated it and when we returned in the evening was fixed. There isn’t a toilet brush. The boiler “cupboard” which I opened the door thinking it was the toiled, had piled clothes inside a bag and on the floor ( ?clean or dirty), making look so untidy. The washing machine was full of wet clothes, doesn’t look good for a luxury apartment. I’ve highlighted to the person managing the property, who asked me if I was going to need the washing machine… the point was missed here. If I rent a flat with the expectation to have access to all facilities, they should be available. The flat cannot be considered luxury because is new and has a trendy sofa. There are the basic and the outstanding details and standards that must be meet to be considered a luxury experience. Much more attention is required to the cleaning. Inside the oven and below the oven door there are dirty stains that are easily removed. The glass table in the living room has stains and marks, clearly was not clean. The tv has accumulated dust. The key collection system must be reviewed. When we got to the shop, the gentleman at the tile asked me to share my internet with him as he had no connection and he couldn’t submit my key code. I didn’t share my internet with a stranger.

• Ajay (6/5): Worth the money and very convenient to anyone wanting to visit either Digbeth or the City Centre. - The apartment itself was very spacious and clean from top to bottom. There was plenty of room to store our suitcases, belongings and etc. I liked how the bedroom also had space for a coffee table and a sofa. Access in and out of the building was fairly straight forward and luckily this specific apartment is located on the streetview side (Cheapside). There were some of the basic amenities provided such as a kettle, microwave, coffee/tea, sugar etc. There is a Costcutter located a 1 minute walk from the apartment, which is very convenient. Finally, the price for two nights was reasonable and affordable, compared to other places. There is no parking provided for guests. There was a delay on check in because the cleaner had misplaced the key and the previous guest somehow took it with them - as a result, I had to wait 15-20 minutes in my car for the cleaner to drop off the key, but if I didn't have a car to wait in then this would have been more frustrating. Hand wash had not been replaced in the bathroom or kitchen. There was no extra toilet roll provided - as a result, we had to buy a pack from the Costcutter down the road. The front door lock is dodgy and requires you to turn the key around 4 times either to lock or unlock it. The windows do not open an adequate amount. The duvet provided for the bed could have been slightly thicker.

• Sharmari (10/5): Amazing stay - It had everything kitchen, washing machine facilities including the liquid to wash you clothes a fan nice big TV in the living room everything you need for a short stay. Property could have had a Tv in the Bedrooom, a fan in the living room as it was so hot and we had to take the fan from the bedroom and it didn’t have a clothes drying rack.

• Deborah313 (7/5): Good stay - Smart TV allowing you to chrome cast/ watch netflix, prime etc Lovely modern furniture and layout Great location to go to and from town Keys were easy to obtain from key lock Lovely sofa within bedroom area Water pressure excellent Comfy bed Flooring was warm and easy to clean Good support from owner -On arrival it was unfortunate that clean towels were not left on the bed, but we were advised to utilise towels left to dry on heater in bathroom, previous guest items also left but apology was given by the owner - No pots and pans available, informed owner who was also shocked by this and was willing to rectify asap but i returned home to get some - Blind in living area is white and therefore allows a lot of light to come in, so when watching a movie or utilising the TV it is difficult due to the amount of shine onto the TV screen - Main windows in living and bed area allow people to directly to see into the apartment, there Is a private club opposite so people would often look up, they also play drums at night around a fire at times which was noisy -Leaky iron and steamer did not work - Pillows for bed could be fuller
