Guest Reviews
- Emily-Kate (10/5): Superb! - Beautiful interior design and decor! Super clean and very comfortable linen.
Mel the owner is a great communicator and very hospitable. Absolutely loved my stay and will be back for sure! Can’t fault it!
- Lifen (10/5): Rejuvenating break. - Friendly & communicative host, impressively clean, cosy, well touch interior design. Surrounded by nature (plants & animals). Great sunrise scenery & being able to see the Milky-way at a clear night. Feeling safe & rejuvenating.
- Tyler (10/5): It will be your best stay ever. Amazing view, cabin, nature, hosts. - Everything was just so amazing. From the start to the end of our stay, it was great and easily the best stay ever. Location is amazing how quiet and peaceful and cabin is very beautiful. Lots of stuff in the cabin so you’re not just sleeping there. Me and my partner played some little games, walked around our cabin looking at animals and the nature, and had some wood fire to relax. We both really loved the view of sunrise from our bed, it was the best sunrise I’ve ever seen. The hosts were super kind and nice. It was nice that we got to see her when we leaving, she gave us some ideas to visit on our way home. Truly amazing place to stay and definitely will be back in the future!

- Joan (9/5): 3 Night stay at Banjo's Cabin - Though I didn't actually meet the hosts communication was great. The cabin was beautifully presented, the views and sunrises were amazing. It was very quiet and restfull being rural, had everything I needed bar laundry facilities.
For anyone not familiar with the area there was plenty of information on things to see and do on day trips .
It is a beautiful part of Victoria to visit. There was nothing I didn't like.
- Louise (10/5): - Stunning.
- Margot (10/5): Beautifullly presented cabin with great fireplace and views. - The cabin was beautifully presented with a lot of extra touches. We loved the fireplace and the view and the bed was very comfortable. Although the kitchen was compact it had everything needed to cook a lovely meal. Overall we would highly recommend the cabin if you want a quiet getaway in Gippsland but close to conveniences.
- Bianca (10/5): -
- Susan (10/5): If I am ever back in the Seaton Heyfield area would have no hesitation booking this cabin again. - Breakfast was great. Cabin was amazing. Had everything I could need. Comfortable bed, all kitchen requirements. Breakfast was included, which was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful sunrise view with horses, cows, alpacas, birds on the pond. Close to all facilities in Heyfield which was a lovely place to visit. Only met one of the hosts but she was friendly and very welcoming. Cabin had two key locks just in case one key was misplaced. Very good attention to small details. Nothing with the cabin, it was perfect. Don't believe Google maps when it says 19Kms to Walhalla. It is not.
- Andrew (9/5): -
- Matt (9/5): Serenity at its finest - Great host, good secluded location, very peaceful and clean.
- Sharon (10/5): Perfect Winter staycation. - Everything, beautiful & peaceful location. Cottage was perfect, loved our fireplace we lit it every night.
Happy hrs so much nicer with a fire & picturesque views over farmland.
Morning sleepins on a mattress that felt like a floating cloud.
Lots to see & do, located close to quaint county towns that didn't disappoint.
Mel our host was lovely. Couldn't fault our stay. If I had to find something negative it would be should have stayed a week.
- Tai (10/5): A cozy cabin with everything we needed for a perfect getaway! - The fireplaces
- Ramez (10/5): Took my wife there for her birthday, and she was extremely happy. - Gorgeous little tiny home. Very cosy and clean.
- Rakesh (10/5): Exceptional cabin experience with a cozy space and beautiful surroundings. - We had a fantastic stay at Mel's charming farm a couple of weekends ago. The communication from Mel before we arrived was exceptional. Her detailed instructions helped us navigate the area and made us feel right at home.
Mel took the time to show us around the beautifully presented farmhouse, which was aesthetically pleasing and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. The cozy living space, comfortable furnishings, and lovely decor created the perfect ambience for our retreat.
What made our visit unforgettable was Mel’s hospitality. She ensured we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was when she introduced us to her farm and her delightful flock of sheep, including the friendly Bently and the special Bozzo. We were thrilled to engage in hands-on experiences, such as feeding the sheep and trying our hand at being shepherds for a bit! 😉
The scenic beauty of the farm, with its sunsets and starry night skies, complemented by the surrounding horses and cattle, created a serene atmosphere that was incredibly refreshing.
We wholeheartedly recommend Banjos Farm to anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable escape into the countryside. We cannot wait to return!
