• Kerry (7/5): Nice stay, ok location, in need of upgrade. - It was quiet & felt secure, large space, easy walk to supermarket & amenities. It was in need of upgrading, the furniture was uncomfortable as were the beds. At one time it was a lovely villa but it is very tired now.
• DAVID (4/5): Décevant car prestation vendue et non assurée ! - - Climatisation fonctionnelle - Machine à laver et coin buanderie très pratique - villa spacieuse ⚠️ À éviter si vous comptez sur les prestations annoncées Nous avons réservé cette villa du 18 au 25/08/2026 principalement pour sa piscine chauffée (3 enfants). L’hôte nous a assuré qu’elle serait bien chauffée à 27°C. A notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que la pompe à chaleur n’était pas en fonctionnement. Malgré deux interventions techniques pendant notre séjour, le problème n’a jamais été réglé. Résultat : aucune piscine chauffée pendant toute la durée du séjour, impossible d’en profiter alors qu’il s’agissait d’un critère majeur dans notre choix et d’un élément qui justifie clairement le prix de cette location. Lorsque nous avons fait part poliment de notre mécontentement à l’hôte et demandé un geste commercial, sa seule réponse a été qu’un dédommagement “ne faisait pas partie de leur politique”. Cette réponse nous a particulièrement déçus. Nous tenons à préciser que nous ne sommes absolument pas des voyageurs exigeants sur les petits défauts du quotidien. Bien au contraire, dans nos locations habituelles, nous fermons très souvent les yeux sur de nombreux petits détails qui ne gâchent généralement pas nos vacances. Ce n’est tout simplement pas dans notre état d’esprit de pointer chaque imperfection et ne cherchons jamais la perfection. En revanche, lorsqu’une prestation essentielle mise en avant dans l’annonce n’est pas assurée pendant tout le séjour, et qu’en plus aucun geste commercial n’est envisagé, nous estimons qu’il est important d’être totalement transparents avec les futurs locataires. Nous partageons donc l’ensemble des points constatés sur place afin que chacun réserve en toute connaissance de cause, et notamment pour que de futurs voyageurs sachent qu’en cas de nouvelle panne de la piscine, ils ne doivent visiblement pas espérer de compensation.

• Tony (10/5): All in all a very pleasant stay and would go back there. - Very clean and tidy, everything there that is at home. Could have supplied bottles of water on arrival as shop is a good 10 minute walk away.

• Kati (3/5): Nice villa but just not for us - The size was great, and the location was pretty good. We spent every day in the pool! It is dependant on your neighbours if they will be quiet or loud, and they were luckily quiet for us! The villa is best for active people who have a car. The villa is located on a hill, and getting back to the villa from the main strip is a big hassle on foot. It is in a enclosed estate right at the end, around 50 meters from the gate at the entrance. We would have to carry our bags since the taxi could not enter. The tile flooring and stairs in the villa is very slippery and might not be safe for children and others, especially if it’s wet after swimming in the pool. There are two cameras in the villa that are supposed to be for safety, but it made us uncomfortable. The mattresses were very firm and uncomfortable to sleep on. We couldn’t use the grill because of how grimy and dirty it was. The shower in one of the bathrooms was fully broken, so we had to share one bathroom. The walls were chipped in some places, and the furniture seem very worn. We had to spend a lot on shopping on our first day there, as there was no necessities or welcome package (no tea, salt, washing up liquids or powder etc), apart from four rolls of toilet paper.
• Michael (5/5): - Positive points of Villa Fariones: • The pool is a great feature. • The villa was clean. • Communication with the host was good Negative points: • There is a strong sewage smell when entering the property and every morning. • A persistent damp smell throughout the villa, with visible damp on the walls. • The villa is cold overall, especially at night. • Bed linen felt damp every night, and there were no adequate covers to keep warm. • Pillows were extremely soft, resulting in neck and shoulder pain. • The utility room roof leaks. Overall: For the price of the villa, a much higher standard and level of comfort would be expected. While the villa has potential, issues with damp, temperature, and general comfort significantly affected the stay. Basic comforts such as warmth, dryness, and a fresh-smelling environment should be addressed to justify the cost.

• James (9/5): We had an amazing stay. The villa is clean, spacious and very well located. The air con and pool were great as the weath - The villa was in a great location close to the shops and beach. Very clean and spacious. Only negative I can say is that it would have been useful to have a welcome pack on arrival. We had a late flight and did not arrive until 11pm we then had to find a shop for some water and essentials. In the villas we have previously stayed in their was a small welcome pack of water milk bread and a bottle of pop.
• joanna (10/5): July/Aug 2025 - Location is perfectly situated between the old and new towns, the pool area was perfect size for our family of 4, pool was lovely and warm. Plenty of towels and bed linens supplied. Would 100% stay again and would highly recommend. Not much we didn't like. Darker blinds/curtains needed in the bedrooms, little tlc needed on inside, door frames (some loose) and it would be nice to have a welcome pack on arrival, a bottle of water, some milk etc to save you having to run to the shops when you arrive. None of this would stop us returning.
• Thomas (10/5): Great for family with young kids - Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very modern villa, and very bright inside. Air con in all bedrooms and downstairs living room is a huge bonus. It keeps the whole villa very comfortable all the time. Pool is not deep, but deep enough to enjoy, so is great for younger kids as well as older.

• Nichola (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great. The pool was a nice size. Good amount of sunloungers/outdoor furniture. Bright space. Allowed us to check in early. No shutters or blackout blinds. No prior communication from the villa until we arrived at property regarding entry. Cleanliness of villa in relation to general cleanliness of surfaces / towels. Also, having to deal with the disposal of numerous cockroaches over the course of the week.

• Simon (10/5): Amazing Villa to relax and enjoy the sun.. - A stunning Villa which was spacious, clean, modern and was well equipped with everything you would need for a family holiday. Pool was amazing and was used every day.

• John (10/5): Excellent spacious villa. - The size..the pool the facilities. Quiet location. The villa is in a gated cul de sac yet it is still near all facilities. Lidl is a five minute walk away as are the bus stops. Ample secure private parking Suited my family and I perfectly. Nothing. This villa is ideally situated for touring or walking to the local strip.
