• Roper (9/5): Excxellent location for exploring the Sussex coastline, villages and South Downs. - The breakfast cereals were an added bonus to the other tea, coffee, milk etc provisions and of course the lovely homemade lemon cake. The property was one of the best equipped we have stayed in. It was light, bright and clean. Took us a while to figure out opening/closing the patio doors but made good use of the deckchairs in the back garden after a day out. The location of the apartment was excellent and was situated in a quiet private road. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. There was nothing we didn't like.

Bereits die Kommunikation im Vorfeld nach der Buchung war freundlich und hilfreich inclusive etlicher Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflüge. Das Wilkommenspaket war mehr als großzügig - ein Korb voller glutenfreier Artikel. Die Lage ist ideal, einmal über die Straße und den Weg zwischen den nächsten Häusern genommen - schon ist man an der Promenade. Das Meeresrauschen hat uns am Abend in den Schlaf gewiegt. Die Unterkunft war sauber und liebevoll ausgestattet, die Küche ist ebenfalls volsständig mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Das Bad ist hell und modern. Der Patio ist eine kleine Oase der Ruhe und ebenfalls mit viel Liebe dekoriert. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn es in den Zeitplan passt.

Great location, loved having the sea so close. Such a high standard, was spotlessly clean, comfortable sleep and great space with small garden area. Would highly recommend. Also loved the lemon drizzle cake left for me when I arrived. All was great.

• Hilary (8/5): Lovely annex redeveloped from a converted garage, but shower cleanliness was disappointing. - Location to the beach. You can hear the waves crashing on the pebbles. I had to clean the shower from the previous users body hair in the shower tray, where it had been missed. And I also had to remove red mould from the shower caddy. Plus, the size of the bottles used to supply shower gel, etc., which were too large for the shower and had to be put on the floor under the sink for space by my feet.
• DIANE (9/5): Brilliant all round and great value! - Great location for us and really lovely property with everything you could expect and more.. Hosts were brilliant .. good value too! It was a smart TV and as we are old and NOT "Smart" people we struggled with it BUT David the host did help us!

Plenty of eateries within a short distance and lots of supermarkets about. Nice central accommodation for lots of places to visit. Will definitely return if in the area. The property is lovely and cosy. Lemon cake on arrival is a lovely welcoming gift. Everything you could need is provided. Thank you Paula and David.

Lovely hosts. - A very quiet location a stone throw from the sea. every facility you needed within the property was very well equipped very pleasant hosts. Very nice touches with fresh flowers and lovely lemon drizzle cake and provisions ready for us in the fridge. Secluded courtyard with patio furniture. A very minor point the driveway is narrow to reverse your car in but maybe a trim of the very tall plants and bush at the front may help.

We chose this location hoping for some host interaction for local content. A laptop work space would have been ideal. We lost our security bond on the rental car due to scratches along the left hand side of vehicle from pushing through the shrubs in the driveway.

• Milan (10/5): Beautiful accommodation by the sea - Superb location 10 seconds from the beach front, well furnished and equipped will everything you need for a weekend or even a longer stay by the sea. A lot of thoughtful touches like food essentials (tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, cereals, cooking essentials etc), fresh flowers, and a delicious homemade lemon drizzle. The owners were extremely accommodating and welcoming and tell you everything about local area you need to know.

• Juliet (10/5): A fantastic seaside hideaway - This place was really well thought out, spacious and had everything we wanted/needed and even some things we didn’t need this visit, but will definitely use the next time we stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the knives were sharp (something which is often overlooked in other places we have stayed). All the toiletries were fab and of good quality, the bed was firm and really comfy. Then the little touches, fresh flowers, basic food items and of course the lemon drizzle cake. Oh my, what a wonderful thing to find on arrival! We had an amazing stay and will absolutely be back. We would recommend this place to everyone. We loved everything, nothing bad to say.

Fantastic decor and well equipped kitchen. We will definitely book again. Close to the sea, walks and 2 lovely pubs, at least 1 serving food. It was not an issue for our small car but maybe difficult for anyone with a large suv to park easily up the drive.

• .matt (10/5): A beautiful relaxing gem of a place. - Wow! What a little gem. Really enjoyed our stay here it's very clean, cosy, well decorated and comfortable especially the bed and sofa. The hosts are friendly, helpful and have appointed the property very well. We stayed for the 4 day Goodwood festival of speed, one day was cancelled due to high winds. On that day we went to the charming Arundel then returned to relax in the lovely area out the back, even in the high wind it was a nice little retreat which really helped to recharge some energy for the final day of Goodwood. An excellent recommendation of the 'Felpham Chippy' was spot on too. It was a bit of a challenge getting in and out of Goodwood so to come back to the Seaside Annexe was lovely each day. We ventured across the road to the sea which is such a nice thing to do and to hear the waves at night was quite special. I highly recommend this beautiful property and lovely hosts to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

We appreciated all the extras such as the Christmas food and drink, which was in addition to more everyday food such as milk, cereals, bread, butter, tea and coffee etc. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and tissues amongst other things. The interior design of the apartment is beautiful and it was spotlessly clean in every way. AND THE WHOLE PLACE WAS FREEZING COLD...and the ELECTRIC HEATING IS TOTALLY INADEQUATE.... IT'S A SUMMER VENUE......DO NOT STAY HERE WHEN IT'S COLD...UNLESS IT'S FULLY HEATED FOR 2 DAYS BEFORE YOU ARRIVE....OR ITS CARPETED We left at 10pm to drive 4 hrs home....car was warmer.
