- Steven (10/5): A hiden gem - On entering Dumble cottage you quickly realised that the photos did not do the place any justice. Our faces light up as we walked around. The place had a wonderful feeling. Wooden beams and stone floors tastefully done all the way through. Loads of space. The location was fantastic with brilliant walks in every direction. The swimming pool was just amazing. We had some time to talk to our hosts who where very helpful. Just ask and they where there to help you. We both so wished we could of stayed longer and are looking forward to returning I dident like leaveing
- Julie (10/5): Little Derbyshire gem - perfect for a couple looking for rural peace and beauty. - Gorgeous little cottage for two in a great location albeit very rural! Facilities in the house were excellent, included a dishwasher, kettle, wifi etc. and the hosts left us a lovely welcome basket with Prosecco, biscuits, milk and bread in, which we were not expecting and were touched by the thought. It was also very prettily decorated for Christmas with a little tree. We were on a flying visit with family so didn't have time to use the pool but we'd definitely stay here again, it was lovely. Nothing, it was absolutely perfect for what we needed for a two night break.
- Emma (10/5): Cute little getaway for couples - Beautiful location. The pool was amazing! Great pub with gluten free options just a couple of miles down the road, we walked along the public footpaths over the fields to get there, stunning scenery. Kitchen was well kitted out with utensils for cooking. Perfect place to get away from it all for a few days. We will definitely be back.

- Lizabellexx (9/5): Our stay was perfect - It was Perfect and quiet and everything we were looking for - I wasn't even aware that anybody else was staying on the land until our last day. There was nothing I didn't like. If I could change anything it would be to have the option to check out later like 12pm but I do understand that with others checking in they need ample time to clean etc.

- Debbie (8/5): Really lovely cottage. Host was lovely and welcoming. - The cottage had everything we needed. I liked that we had access to a little secure courtyard so the dogs could be off lead and safe and we could sit and watch the sun set. The pool was a lovely bonus. The host gave us a tour which was helpful and we had a wonderful surprise of a little food basket including a bottle of fizzy.

- Rajwar (10/5): Exceptional - Vicki and Tim are very accommodating hosts, they had left us a welcome goodie basket ,which was a nice touch . Also ,we had a few questions that they were very quick to answer and resolve. I can only imagine the effort to maintain the private swimming pool(this can be booked for 90 minutes at a stretch and twice a day , its shared between 4 different cottages ,booking is on a board outside the pool area) Kudos to the team for keeping everything very comfortable . I would surely recommend this place , its very comfy and equipped with modern amenities , has a serene backyard with beautiful views and a very friendly horse that comes to meet you early in the morning.

Having access to an indoor pool was great - a major plus for the two of us. We also loved the welcome basket - a much appreciated touch. The bed was slightly too soft for us.

- Dave (8/5): Lovely stone cottages with courtyards and nice rural views. Great swimming pool. - The swimming pool was excellent. Each cottage could reserve it for their exclusive use for 2 sessions a day. The cooker tripped the fuse, and so was not useable during our short stay. The owners did promptly try to get their electrician in, but found that he had Covid. The owner then offered us another cottage, so they tried their best to rectify things. Really, the last guest who tried to use it should have told the owner that their was a problem.

- Tanya (10/5): Wonderful facilities in a beautiful setting. - Dumble Cottage was very well presented. Decorations and design of the cottage inside was very well thought out. There was nothing we needed, everything for a self-catering stay had been thought of. Vikki & Tim left a welcome basket, with milk, sugar, bread, jam, tea, coffee and a lovely bottle of prossecco! Which was well received! Tim met us on arrival and showed us around the site e.g. the swimming pool, local walks and an area at the rear of the cottage for our dog to exercise in. Tim also told us where the local pubs/restaurants were. Nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool is fantastic! This is not a little "dippy" pool it is a proper swimmers pool. Lovely temperature and allowed me to dream I had won the lottery and was in my own pool all on my own! Wonderful! Using the television was a little difficult at times but we managed. Nothing owners could do about this but mobile reception in the cottage was non-existent most of our stay (which was rather nice).

- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - We booked dumble but moved to Haven cottage, absolutely amazing cottage. Both Vicki and Tim were more than welcoming and incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The interior of the cottage was to a high standard and felt like home from home, so much so we ended up stopping for another 3 nights. The surrounding area around the cottages is beautiful to wake up to and watch the sun set of the evening, the perfect escape. The cottage was very cosy, the bed and the bedding felt luxurious and gave a perfect night's sleep and the pool was an added bonus which me and my partner enjoyed. Lots of walks and villages just a short drive away which we thoroughly enjoyed especially our dog. We didn't want to go home! Definitely recommend! We cannot wait to get back here again! Absolutely nothing to dislike it was perfect.
