Guest Reviews
- Eddie (10/5): - Excellent place to base for work.
- michael (10/5): -
- Dianne (9/5): Relaxing quiet place to recharge our bodies. Highly recommend this place - Lovely charming house
- Barbara (6/5): - Location was good. A bit dingy and carpet to bathroom was pieced together. No fan, so it was a bit warm. Not our best stay for the money.
- Kerri Ann (10/5): Well located with friendly staff - Well located, easy parking, on site support if needed Nothing really
- Stephanus (4/5): Definitely not memorable - The outside period house Hot water was a big problem. Had it apparently on a timer, but the tanks were never connected correctly and for the demand of the building insufficient
- Eros (8/5): Tutto seminato bene. - Bella l’idea della cucina compatta e funzionale, letti abbastanza comodi.
Struttura decente per fermarsi lungo il tragitto. Non so se è stata una dimenticanza ma non c’era l’asciuga capelli.
- Jiří (10/5): Very nice for few days stay - Well located close to high street and restaurant that is opened till 10pm, comfortable parking, good overall vibe
- JULIEN (8/5): -
- Tracey (5/5): Passable - Good location, close to cafes, supermarket. No soap in bathroom.
- Neil (9/5): My stay here was perfect - The room felt as though is was at home. Which when you travel away with work a lot is perfect!
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Never expected a kitchenette in my room, that was nice
- Phil (10/5): Excellent - Excellent Excellent
- Ann (3/5): Disappointing. More like a hostel than a hotel. -
- Ann (8/5): Good all round experience. - Good all round accommodation No staff present although this did not cause any difficulty.
- Ozo888 (10/5): Good value for money, clean & spacious. - Great location, super quiet, good value for money, free parking on site, kettle and plates set in room & co-op around the corner, close to restaurants & bars. Clean & spacious room, great for family stay. Bathroom had no heating.
- Jennifer (8/5): Perfect getaway. - The room is clean and has everything you need. The location is great for exploring Nairn and having a little getaway. The owner was very helpful and sorted out a check-in issue very quickly. As a single woman I felt safe in the accommodation. Just the usual door slam noises and some noise up the stairwell sometimes but nothing that would change my stay.
- Lesley (7/5): Good - Great wee kitchen and confortable room the heater in the room slow to heat - it was very cold when we arrived.
- Russell (8/5): Generally very quiet and pleasant also within easy walking distance of shops/restaurants etc. - The general ambience and quietness of the property. No breakfast available which was not readily apparent from the website and also the reason I gave a lower Value for Money rating.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Location was very handy for everything especially the high street and the train station only a 2 minute walk away Nothing it was perfect and great value for money
- Keen (10/5): Exceptional - Great wee place had everything we needed
- Swati (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (6/5): Comfy & clean, but wouldn’t recommend it or stay again. - It was somewhere to sleep No wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes, only 1 chair, no toilet waste bin.
- Neville (9/5): Comfortable - Location
- Stacey (7/5): Good option for a value stay - Well located and good off street parking. Unexpected kitchenette in room. WiFi was good. The maintenance of the bathroom and room was very amateur- unfinished, mismatched. Mattresses were too soft.
- Avril (9/5): Lovely central accommodation - This is a lovely converted house in Nairn. Very clean. Good cooking facilities. Would stay again. Nice and convenient for everything. Walkable to the beach, town centre etc. Pillows too soft but that’s a personal thing. Would take my own next time lol
- Mr (5/5): Passable - The shower Only suitable for one person not a couple and dog
- Elisa (9/5): We enjoyed! - Close to the city centre, quiet area, well furnished Lack of hanging hooks in the bathroom
- Anne (7/5): Good - Very clean . Kitchenette new but no cooking utensils etc Sofa bed uncomfortable and water poured out of shower cubicle which flooded floor, making floor slippery. Though it was a lovely shower.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Linda (9/5): Superb - Everything was great , I would stay again , thankyou very much
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing clean and comfortable

- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Holly (9/5): Nice comfortable room. Great location. - Location, nice place. The room was very large. Bed was comfortable. Nice sitting area for breakfast. There was a small fake tree outside out window that had Christmas lights that blinked all night. The bathroom is one big wet mess after a shower. We had the ADA room, didn’t ask for it. I never received an email to let me know how to check in. When I called the number I had to ask about it, the person was rude and condescending. Telling me I did receive an email with instructions. And hung up on me.
- Shane (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (9/5): Lovely venue and excellent hosts. I am booked in to come back - Lovely venue, ideally situated in the centre of Nairn so plenty of amenities nearby and only 10 min walk to the beach.
Rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable. My parents were in the Disability Access room and we had the Delux Garden View room.
James and Margaret were amazing hosts. James was really helpful when we booked. My parents are elderly and they went out of their way to ensure they were comfortable, they were extremely supportive and I can’t thank them enough for this. They also gave us rooms next to each other so we were
able to all be together. I did not dislike anything
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Jo (1/5): Terrible stay- freezing cold room amd no hot water for a bath or shower - I’m afraid I had a terrible stay. The only positives were the room was clean and the bed was comfy- the rest was very unenjoyable. There was no hot water for a bath even after I rang the owner and was told to go and boost the heating on the boiler. In fact I did this twice to no avail. 5 kettles later I had a barely there bath, Then the room itself with its very high ceilings was absolutely freezing as all there was, was a plug in radiator which was never going to heat the huge room. I wish I’d read all the reviews as lack of hot water and cold room came up time and time again. I literally had to sleep in extra clothes to stay warm. Owner unwilling to issue any compensation or refund so directly pursuing through booking.com. Worst stay I’ve had since using booking.com years ago.
- Charlie (8/5): Very good -
- Tjasa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raimondas (9/5): Superb - Good place. Was cold in room.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Colette (8/5): Good value in a central location. - Great central location, easy walk to train station and main bus stop, shops, beach, etc. Very clean and spacious and looks like recent upgrades to fixtures and furnishings. Not sure if this is because upgrades are still in process, but there were a few weird things missing, e.g., no towel hooks, nowhere to put soap in the shower, unit had a hob, but no pots or pans so it wasn't much use.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (5/5): Passable - Quiet location and easy to get to. The room was updated and good-sized. The room never seemed warm, and I do not think the heater worked. I messaged the owner about my concern and nothing was ever checked on or done about it.
- Shirley (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (9/5): Very enjoyable stay. We would love to stay there again. - Great location, great room. Had everything we needed. Beautiful house. It’s within easy walking distance to High Street with the shops and restaurants. The only major problem we had, was there was definitely not adequate hot water for everyone in the house.
- Canice (7/5): Adequate - No food provided so no comment regarding food
Location quie2t and convenient Didn't appear to be an host on the property to address queries
- Jake (7/5): Decent hostel like experience. - Great location. Easy checkin. Big room. Sofa bed was uncomfortable and no breakfast option.
- Nora (5/5): very average for the money paid - no breakfast provided would have been nice to have been met by a member of staff on arrival and departure
- Cerys (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (6/5): Ok overall - Location Toilet didn’t flush
- Dale (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ken (8/5): Very good -
- Dickin (9/5): Superb -
- Annette (8/5): Great - Nairn is amazing -
- June (9/5): Superb -
- Anwar (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (8/5): Very good value for money - The room was huge.. very spacious. Photos on booking.com does not do it justice. The bed was nice & soft, I had a really good sleep. The hot water was touch and go. Took s longtime to heat water for a bath. Shower was powerful but wasn’t hot enough to take a shower. LetLittle touches like placemats on table for when eating would’ve been nice.
- Siobhan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (10/5): Absoulutley amazin - Everything friendly staff very clean comfy and welcoming really lovely
- Fiona (7/5): Good - No hairdryer
No hot water in shower

- Anonymous (10/5): Beautiful house! - Beautiful house!
Quiet location.
Comfortable bed.
Convenient kitchenette inside the room. No table with chairs in our room (there is a kitchenette).
No hair dryer.
- Hafiz (9/5): Superb -
- William (5/5): Passable -
- Emilia (10/5): Very nice place and very good distance for beach, shops - Very nice place and close to beach and shops
- David (7/5): Good - The location, quiet and easy to get to the beach and shops. Free parking too. Comfortable though a bit expensive for somewhat basic facilities. There was a shared kitchen we could use but no information about this or check out times. A page with this information in the room would be useful.
- James (8/5): Comfortable - Proximity to town centre There could have been teas and coffee in the room
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
