Guest Reviews
- Daniyal (6/5): I found better on Airbnb and even stayed there for 3 days of my trip - The living room space was fantastic, big and airy It wasn’t set up as though it was to accommodate anyone, the towel had a damp smell, as well as the property itself, only stayed there to rest my head.
- Tunji (1/5): A nightmare! - Nothing One of the worst stays I’ve ever had — avoid at all costs. Unfortunately, this apartment was nothing like what I expected. The host was consistently unreachable, refused to respond to calls, and showed no willingness to help. On arrival, I was greeted by two large refuse bins — an unsettling introduction to a space that felt more like a neglected back alley than a livable home.
The property lacked basic amenities: no microwave, iron, or cooking utensils. There was no house number, making navigation difficult and stressful. The toilet was unwashed and emitted a strong stench that made the space unhygienic and uncomfortable.
Although I submitted photographic evidence and contacted Booking.com, their assistance was partial and limited. They appeared helpless — seemingly at the mercy of the property owner — and unable to take meaningful action. This experience was not only disappointing but also unacceptable.
- Karen (5/5): Quirky but uncomfortable - Unusual flat. Quiet location. Kitchen tiny, poorly equipped. Shower broken, informed owner but nothing done. No proper bed or bedroom. Sofa bed in living room, very uncomfortable. Blinds in living room broken so down permanently. No towels on arrival but brought by owner next night.
- Jaroslav (9/5): In case I am in Budapest again, I will be very happy to come back here - The accommodation was great, the communication perfect. Everything a short distance .. shops, transport, center, everything within walking distance. I highly recommend it :-)
- Franca (8/5): Nice apartment in Budapest - I loved the fact that the house is very big and comfortable, with plenty of items reminiscent of the style of Budapest.
There is everything you need: a bathroom, a shower, a small kitchen with tea and coffee and two rooms where you can get some rest. Unfortunately there was no space to do waste sorting so I had to put everything in small bags.
- Tina (10/5): artistic and cozy - Perfect location, kind host and artistic apartment. The apartment is big and well organised. Walking distance to all transport services and Hero's square.
We would like to come again.
- Elif (6/5): subpar - There was a washing machine. Heating wasn’t good nor enough for the place, the blanket they have is also really thin and doesn’t help for you to get warm. As a woman I didn’t feel safe. Keleti is already full of gypsies and the only thing so called “protects” the flat was a door made of glass and wood. They don’t give you a key to lock the iron door so its always open. If I could lock the iron door I would feel safer. I had to turn the lights on constantly to feel safe. Also bring a towel with you if you still want to book this place. The towel looked really dirty and disgusting. The bedsheets as well.
- Marija (8/5): Very good -
- Philip (8/5): Very good - The apartment was in the heart of the city with easy access to public transport. The accommodation was decorated nicely and was comfortable. The apartment could use some storage for clothes and better kitchen facilities. Some furniture was broken.
- Ganna (5/5): Passable - Location is perfect, just 10 min from railway station and metro There was no conditioner in the apartment. Also there was just 2 cups, while there was stated by me that we had 3 guests in total not 2.
- Zeynep (5/5): Passable -
- Romana (8/5): Very good - The location of the flat is close to the city center and Széchenyi thermal baths at the same time which is great. The decoration inside is unique and gives a cool vibe. I give plus points for the terrace. The bed is not comfortable, it could use an upgrade. The kitchen is very tiny, but we managed.
- Puisi (9/5): Superb -
- Viktor (10/5): Exceptional - 1) Absolutely excellent location, 10 minutes from Keleti railway station with its transport connections but also within walking distance from Nyugati and Zuglo, very close to such tourist attractions as Andrasi ut., Hosok ter, Varosliget etc.
2) Spacious old-fashioned apartment, lovely furnished and decorated, in a nice neighbourhood built up with early 20th cent. buildings mainly in Secessionist style
3) A trade centre and fast foods nearby, I personally used Langos Center in Garay ter. Confusion on Booking.com: it gived address as Hernad 1073 while in reality it's Hernad 23.
