• Gemma (8/5): Gorgeous view, and fab location - would stay again! - The location and view were fantastic. The living space was lovely. We very much enjoyed the pool area too. I found the beds a little uncomfortable, and had trouble sleeping, but none of the rest of my party found this. Apart from that, only minor things: only one extra toilet roll was provided, the light switch in the bathroom was broken, and there wasn't any instructions above the washing machine about how / where to put the detergent (there wasn't a drawer).

Walking distance to everything and views to die for. The dishwasher leaked and the plates were up too high for short people to access. The mats in the main bedroom were slippery and could be a hazard.

• Jayde (10/5): A great spot + great views! - We loved our stay at Airlie Horizon. The unit was super comfortable and had views that the pictures don’t do justice of! The staff were super helpful and we were in the perfect location to walk to shops, cafes, markets and restaurants.

• Tammie (4/5): Apartment needs a deep clean to be the complete package. Location is amazing. - The location was perfect! It is directly across from a supermarket and a short walk to the main strip of shops. We didn't have a car, but it wasn't needed. Everything was walking distance. However, I do not recommend this place for those travelling with babies that require a pram/stroller, as the hill to the complex is quite steep. I didn't use the pool as the local lagoon in Airlie Beach was appealing enough. The apartment decor and facilities were suitable for a short stay...However (and sadly), the place was very, very dirty. The cleaner had finished cleaning the place when we arrived which was adequate enough, but this place needed a DEEP clean: the floor tiles' grout was caked with dirt and there was dust in room corners and under furniture; bathrooms (including the toilets) were stained and mouldy; beds had dust and uncollected rubbish underneath it. It's not a job that can be remedied with a once-over, superficial clean. There was no wi-fi for the apartment (the information book even stated this was not available), though the place advertised that there was. It wasn't something I investigated closely anyway, as wi-fi should be a given for any tourist accommodation (surely). Keys need to be collected from a Real Estate office that is a short drive from the apartment. If you are coming via a transfer you will need to let them know you require two stops, as the distance from the Real Estate office is not walkable, especially with luggage.
