Guest Reviews
- Wileen (10/5): - Friendly service, very clean, great location.
- Maggie (2/5): - The bedding was disgusting and the door to the room was broken The cable box was not working and instead it was Roku TV which I've never used before.
- Dawn (8/5): - This is definitely older motel (built in the 60’s) but has had some upgrades. Very basic amenities, bathroom and all linens were very clean, bed was comfortable, retro vibe, easy walking distance to village services.
- Barbara (10/5): - Cool place. Nicely renovated room. Awesome staff. Clean. Quiet. Close to everything.
- Barbara (10/5): - Love this place. Beautifully renovated room. Friendly staff. Nice little area with historic park across the street
- Viano (8/5): - Check in was easy and super friendly. I couldn't ask for anything more in my two days in Ashcroft.
- Jocelyn (10/5): - It was a big surprise for us to, by chance only, get to this beautiful little town. We received a warmed welcome and the room was full equipped for cooking. I highly recommend it for those who need a rest in this area.
- Judd (4/5): Would not recommend. - Had to call to find assistance. Room was underwhelming - uncomfortable bed, exposed wiring, awkward bath.
In a weird turn, other guests had live birds in cages in their rooms. Place has a no pet policy. Staff must have known, as they were in the parking lot all day. Gross.
Guest noise from upstairs and early morning (6:30am) in the parking lot was loud.
Overall, a lacklustre, uncomfortable experience made weirder by the guests with live birds in their rooms.
- Yvonne (8/5): - It was actually better than the photos.Well kept,no cigarette butts, green lawns and flowering baskets.Easy walk to grocery and liquor stores although they close at 6pm.Good kitchenette with full size fridge and stove.Easy to find at south end of Railway avenue.Nice park across the street.Picnic benches on lawn and chairs outside room.Nice hostess who brought us coat hangers as there weren’t any.Trains going by fun to watch. We always bring earplugs so no worries.
- Melwin (2/5): - All rooms is for two people
- Huixin (6/5): - Like: easy check-in, friendly staff, quiet environment outside;
Dislike: the bed is too soft and noisy, it makes noises every time you move; no hair dryer; very limited toiletries(only 2 smal shampoo samples); the bathroom is very small;stained towels; and there are exposed cables in the living room area.
Ok for an overnight stay only.
- HYUNGSUG (4/5): - So so
- tileena (6/5): - The property manager was very nice, outside of the hotel showed a bit of ware, but expected given the age. The staircase up to our room was not very clean, bunch of dead bugs.
Out room was clean, bed is comfortable, had everything we needed for a nights stay.
Looking forward to checking out this quaint little town.
- Terrence (8/5): - .
- Willie (6/5): - The address in the GPS was wrong
Pets not allowed was NOT LISTED until I arrived at the door
- Ellisha (8/5): Okay accommodation, close to town - Across from the train tracks (hence the address) so bring earplugs. Also a sleep mask if you need it dark as the lights outside are on all night and the curtains are not the best. The bed was clean and the typical areas seemed clean but the walls I the bathroom need a decent wiping to remove snot and bug excrement.
- Janet (8/5): - Nice cozy bed, very clean, liked the little kitchenette, nice quiet town, would stay here again.
- Boris (6/5): - friendly staff.
- Patricia (4/5): - It was an old studio apt with fresh paint, new flooring over incredibly sqweeky floors. Didn't know beds could be so noisy. Shower so small it was hard to move. The building was dusty, run down, and sad. The employee did her best,
- Willi (8/5): Bathroom updated, bedding great! - The room was as shown in the photos, bathroom recently updated, full kitchen. Clean bed and good quality bedding.
Mattress a bit soft.
Fairly quiet stay considering the trains nearby.
- Tammy (10/5): - The room was in good, clean condition. It looked like there might have been recent updates (paint, new windows, etc.) and the AC worked great. Quiet area. Had a great stay. Only downside was the door lock seemed really flimsy.
- Roger (8/5): - Lovely young woman checked us in and made us welcome.
- tyler (10/5): - Unbelievable customer service, Raj went above and beyond to be accommodating and help with anything she could! Great staff!!
- Casey (8/5): - Well kept older building, very clean, priced right.
- Bradley (2/5): - They cancelled on us the day we were supposed to arrive, after taking payment.
- Julie (10/5): - Clean and convenient, good rate and friendly management - thanks for making me feel welcome!
- Morgan (10/5): - Exactly what you should expect. Older building but very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
- Jennifer (10/5): Comfy & Clean - Raj was wonderful! We got in late and she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. The rooms were very clean. I will definitely stay here again.
- Tannis (10/5): - Was quiet clean and friendly
- Joseph (10/5): - Best part of BC Hydro charging station is across the street. Raj was amazing
- Tanya (8/5): - Stay was good. They were helpful when needed.
- Charles (6/5): - Well, I wanted to watch the Grey Cup then the Canucks play on TV. Finally local news on Global. The manager said she would have someone come by and show me. No one did. I assume these could not be seen on the TV. So,why not just tell me this!
