• Michal (10/5): - Our stay at Margarita’s place in Vathy was absolutely wonderful! First of all, Margarita herself was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. she made us feel at home from the first moment and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped. you can really feel the attention to every little detail. And the view from the room was simply stunning, overlooking the bay and the surrounding hills. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sifnos!
• noreen (9/5): - Great location overlooking the bay. Hosts were very welcoming and gave assistance to transport our luggage to and from the parking on the outskirts of the village. They had put fruit, water, bread, cheese, yogurt and other food in the fridge for us ahead of our arrival, which was a very thoughtful touch. The place is very comfortable with really nice outside seating area. The only minor issue is that there isn’t a lot of storage space, which if you had a lot of luggage could be an issue. We traveled pretty light so it was fine.

• Stefan (10/5): Wunderschöner Aufenthalt - Die Gastgeberin ist äußerst freundlich und nett. Als Willkommsgeschenk Kekse, Brot, Schinken, Käse, Marmeladen, Obst, Wasser und Säfte. Hochwertige Ausstattung, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Tolle Lage etwas oberhalb der Bucht, sehr ruhig, aber keine 2 Minuten zum Strand. Ein perfekter Aufenthalt, würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
• Mats (10/5): Exklusivt boende med hög standard - Fantastiskt boende med boutique känsla, fullt utrustat kök. Ligger högt med enastående utsikt från terrassen. Service från värdinnan kunde inte vara bättre. Mötte upp vid bussen och såg till att bagaget kom till boendet. Vi möttes av ett fyllt kylskåp för frukostar! Extra plus för en toppenbra säng, inte stenhård som på många andra boenden. Allt var toppen. Kan tänka mig att den branta backen upp till boendet inte är optimalt för barnfamilj eller funktionsnedsatta.
• Indi (10/5): We can’t wait to come back! - We had an amazing stay at Thimari Villas! The rooms were spotless, well-equipped, and had such a warm, charming atmosphere. Margarita was a wonderful host - she arranged a taxi from the port for us (highly recommend accepting her help, as taxis are limited on the island), was incredibly attentive, and shared great recommendations for restaurants and activities.

There was quite a steep hill up to the property, but we were too about this in advance.

• Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious, super comfortable villa, a very short walk from the beach and Margarita is a fantastic, super friendly host. We will absolutely be coming back. This is not a negative comment as we loved this but some people should be aware that Vathy is a tiny town and most of it is not vaccine by road. Margarita met us where the road stops and took us (and our luggage) the 5 min walk to the villa, accessible only via the beach and then a short, but quite steep paved slope.

However, it should be noted that if you have trouble going up stairs or a bit of a hill, you should avoid it.

• William (10/5): Unforgettable - Thimari Villas is situated in the beautifully peaceful Vathy Bay. We had the most incredible stay at the villas and were blown away by the attention to detail, they have really thought of everything! The villa is modern and spacious, with a beautiful outdoor area and inside they have a perfectly sized kitchenette for a longer stay. Margarita was incredibly kind and a great host, the fridge was stocked for us on arrival. Nothing - we had an incredible time!

• Moritz (10/5): Relaxing, wonderful and convenient experience - Margarita was a wonderful host. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine and some local snacks. Throughout our whole stay she was available for tips and questions. The rooms get cleaner everyday, the beds were made and we got new towels whenever we needed. The two air conditioners were very useful when we came home from a warm day at the beach. Vathi Beach is in our opinion the nicest beach on the island and we spent a wonderful relaxing week there. All the restaurants nearby are great and they are all located right next to the worlds greatest swimming pool ;)
• Christine (10/5): Thimari apartments is a gem of a place - Thimari ground floor apartment was just perfect. Margarita and her Husband met us at Vathi square at the agreed time and took all our luggage in the electric trolley to the apartment, which was outstanding with everything and more that you could ask for. A very cool seating area with fully stocked kitchen, toaster, cooker, pots and pans(not used..) plus the fridge had been stocked with lots of goodies, that we did not expect, along with the biscuits and cakes left by Margarita. We had been to Vathi before, so had already collected provisions from the large supermarket in Arades, so the nice large fridge and freezer was full. The bathroom was a good size with a nice big shower, plus overhead shower. Again toiletries all there if you had forgotten anything. Nice fluffy clean towels. Great bedding, pillows and comfortable bed. Nice and dark and with air conditioning. Wardrobe, iron, bedside draws and dressing table. Outside nice table and chairs for seating area with great views over Vathi in the morning sunlight or evening with a glass of wine. 2 nice comfortable sun loungers. Washing line for drying towels, which were also provided for the beach. A few steps down to the beach to some very good taverna's. Little tiring walking back up after a few drinks. (Steps or slope to decide) We could not fault this place. It was so well equipped, clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Great views. Margarita, family and staff were lovely. We will be hoping to stay again, although looks like many people have already found this gem of a place. Nothing to not like.

The villa is very stylish and very comfortable with excellent bedding (pillows, mattress, blanket) It also had all the mod cons (toaster, jug, coffee maker, toasty machine, hairdryer, fans, air conditioner and more) and a selection of outdoor sitting areas. Margarita snd her husband were excellent thoughtful hosts. The generous supplies provided for the entirety of our stay were very much appreciated as there is only a small mini market Also the position in Vathi - close to the water yet just enough away for privacy- is in our opinion the best. The view of the bay is lovely. Once the garden gets more established this property will be even better. The property is also very close to walking trails.
