Guest Reviews
- Anna (9/5): - Wygodne łóżko
- Colin (7/5): - Entrance door was poorly fitting but did lock. Wind blew it in the night making a noise
Shower head broken and had to be held
- Greenwood (8/5): -
- Ahmed (10/5): Good comfortable - Value for money Non
- Donna (10/5): -
- Jess (2/5): Not fit for purpose, certainly not good for families - It was dirty, u comfy, the door had a massive hole around it.
Outside was like a large dustbin, people smoking weed and having all night parties.
- Neil (7/5): Adequate - Location was ideal! The sofa needs replacing and a deep clean of the cabin needed. But in the whole good value for money
- Neil (7/5): - Great location - private and close to everything The sofa - it needs to be replaced really.
- julia (3/5): Accommodation near Sidcup - Parking
Near to Sidcup
Clean sheets
Clean towels
Walking distance to tesco Tired caravan
Only 2 towels
No tea towel
- Tunwashe (10/5): -
- Olayinka (4/5): Won’t visit again.. too pricey for what you get. - Location I call it hostel and not Air B&B. Room to small, walls got marks and dirts. . You can hear voices from the next room next to us. So basic room with no effort of comfort made in the room.
- Rhys (5/5): - Easy access, comfortable beds, wi-fi and smart TV Small shower, noisy and busy co guest, hair in showers and beds
- ryan (7/5): - Wecstayed in the 3 bed mobile home. Never stayed in one before but was really spacious... 3 plates snd 1 knife. 1 fork. Strange because lots of pots pans etc.
Please owner just buy pack of cutlery and coue of ates then all is perfect!
- Will (1/5): -
- Sharon (7/5): Apart from the above, we had a relaxing time. - It was clean and dry. The microwave, oven and fridge were not clean and I had to clean the microwave myself.
- Richard (8/5): -
- Tosin (6/5): -
- Kay Willsher (7/5): -
- Fotherby (8/5): Just what we needed. A comfortable space to eat, sleep and prepare for the following day. - Self check-in was straightforward, even late into the evening. A small detail, but a bedside lamp would be convenient.
- Ian (4/5): Dissatisfied and would not recommend. - The location for a work contract in the area. The fact that I was confronted by a lodger who was rude and verbally abusive towards me when I was looking for where to check in.
They were sleeping on a sofa in the lobby with an old blanket looking a little worse for wear ie intoxicated via drink or drugs potentially.
They Then proceeded to chase me outside demanding what I was wanting even though I had explained in the lobby earlier on arrival when a little too early to check in at 3 pm.
Overall not the greeting I would expect from a business establishment of this description.
Also a very strong odour of weed being used in the studio next to the one I was occupying.
Basically an overall disappointing experience from what could be a potential great establishment.
- Catriona (8/5): Fantastic stay, great hosts. Lovely facilities - Lovely, had everything I needed. Clean and comfortable. I was worried as I’d see some bad reviews but I had a great stay! It was lovely and warm and the room smelt gorgeous. There was a bit of commotion from other residents one night but I talked to the hosts and they sorted everything and it wasn’t a problem again. Great parking, great kitchen, small bathroom but perfect for me. Nothing, everything was great!
- Precious (1/5): -
- Gunda (2/5): I considered asking for a refund but didnt because of how nice a person the woman who let us in was. - Even though it was hard to find someone to let us into the studio, she was a nice person Terrible bed, light in the hallway kept going on and off, not as described, no hairdryer, no tea towel in the kitchen, no salt or anything at all that should be basic in a kitchen, terrible lighting, terrible duvet, etc. Slept badly as the second bed -which was a single rather than a sofa bed was a dreadful mattress...
The review suggested that the studio was of higher quality than the twin room in the main house so I paid twice as much to have a little more comfort. This was a waste of money
Also the check in process was difficult. We funally found someone to let us in but she called the manager whi seemed completely unaware of our booking despite me having phoned just a few hours earlier and having been reassured the booking was confirmed -something they were supposed to do..

- MERCY (5/5): Good space for a mobile home but needs some TLC - Great space for a threes bed mobile home. All of the furnishings and household items felt quite dated — including the sofas, bed frames, bedsheets, pillows, and curtains, which are beginning to show signs of wear and needs replacing. The kettle appears to have been there for a very long time and may benefit from being replaced. The fridge/freezer also seemed to be nearing the end of its life and wasn’t in the best condition. Overall, a modern update to these elements would really enhance the comfort and experience. Could also do with better cleaner.
- Hassan (9/5): -
- Mehdi (8/5): -
- Anita (1/5): Traumatising . - No heating or hot water. In a filed in December. It was freezing. The door to the boiler was locked so had no way of putting it back on . Dirty used cups in the kitchen cupboard . Extremely poor quantity mattresses . None off us slept a wink and home still in my pjs did not even brush my teeth . Just wanted to get out of there and have a bath
- Christelle (8/5): Bon rapport qualité prix - Bien équipé Pas très bien insonorisé. Toilettes pas super propres
- Mike (6/5): - -Location being near to ruxley Manor was a nice afternoon out.
-The one staff member I interacted with was sweet and helpful. -Paper thin walls
-Oven was filthy and smelled bad
-Pans and crockery were dirty and needed washing before use
- bathroom too small
- kranti (5/5): - We struggled a lot to find property as mentioned location coordinates were wrong
- Kay Willsher (10/5): -
- Durim (1/5): Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s only better than sleeping outside. - Location Got too long to warm up the room there were no lights at the bathroom. There was no shampoo on the shower.
- Kay Willsher (9/5): -
- Salihu Abubakar (10/5): Met my expectation. 100% recommended - Everything! The staff were courteous, accomodating and nice. Im really impressed with their services nothing
- Steve (5/5): -
- Connie (5/5): Dodgy start, good end. - Nicely decorated, generally clean - bed was great. The TV worked great too I had no information about how to get in. Turned up in the dark and pouring rain, tried calling the number provided 5 times, no answer. Finally saw someone heading into "Ruxley Rooms" so I followed and a lady came out of a room who was quite rude. Saying I should of had information, wanted to see all of my details and left me to find out l, she then half showed me to my room "keys in the door" but I didn't realise there were 2 doors so I questioned it. Would have been more helpful of she had just shown me properly. What would have been REALLY helpful is sending a message through with all check in details BEFORE I got to the property.
Desperately need new towels. Mine were like sandpaper and frayed/tatty at the edges. Shower head needs a limescale removal as it was affecting the water. Induction pans weren't working properly on the hob, no instructions. Had to use a frying pan. No WiFi information and it was a work trip so really not ideal.
- Kay Willsher (9/5): - Location was good, facilities excellent, have rebooked.
- Cora (7/5): - Theoretische Parkplatzsituation Parkplatzmanagement, Licht im Badezimmer schwach.
- Menh (10/5): It was lovely - It was clean bed was neat very helpful host and evrything in general It was very gud tbh
- Wasswa (8/5): -
- Marcus (8/5): -
- Dean (1/5): - People checking in at 2am and keeping us awake. Walls were paper things.
- Robert (8/5): -
Tudo a funcionar. Recomendo a 100% este local
- Pamela (6/5): - Had parking.
Spacious.
Provided tea, coffee, sugar and milk which was nice to see .
The shower gel smelt great. It was a bit tricky finding the location and when I called the host there was no response. Had to figure it out.
The code given to me to open the main gate did not open the main gate. Luckily there was someone in the building who opened it for me.
The curtain was very dirty.
- Kevin (9/5): -
- Akinwande (5/5): - The room was comfortable but the door was not secure at all Their was a cleaner that was really rude to us and made the place so uncomfortable for us all through. And the door to the room open easily
- Barry (3/5): Won't be returning! - Not much. The tv with netflix was good though! Tiny. The smell of rotten parmesan was overpowering. Not very clean.
- Jason (6/5): -
- Dan (2/5): - There were people partying and shouting outside our place all night untill 2 am doing balloons in there car I literally got no sleep
- Lilet (5/5): - Spacious room, ok for just a place to sleep for a night The room is clean but outside is not so. Someone is very noisy outside at 6am. The door doesn’t feel safe at all, very flimsy lock.
We were only supplied half a roll of toilet paper for 3 people staying and 2 towels, no hand towels also.
- Tom (10/5): Great value and lovely studio apartment. Friendly staff and guests - Lovely studio, grounds and hosts x Everything was perfect.
- Susan (1/5): Absolute Disaster wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy. - There was nothing to like about this property. I have requested a refund in full. The entrance door did not fit properly. The property was not secure, you could see daylight around the entrance door. There was evidence that the lock had been forced in the past and then replaced. The toilet seat did not fit. The lid did not stay open when in use, it was impossible for my partner to use. There was only one cereal bowl and two plates. There were no cleaning products in the kitchen or soap in the bathroom. The ceiling by the distribution board was exposed. Under the sink was very unhygienic. The property was unfit for purpose we left immediately.
- Jean (10/5): -
- Lin (5/5): Not to say a word - Location Clean
- Konstantinos (8/5): Very good -
- Terry (8/5): Lovely clean modern apartment.recommended - Very clean and tidy. Nice secure location for your car behind an automatic gate. Lots of hot water and a very good shower Instructions to locate the property were not clear and had to phone to get help. He quickly sent entrance instructions but would have been nice to have these beforehand. The car park is labelled Ruxley Cottages and the signage says Ruxley Rooms but I was looking for Ruxley Studios!
- Katianna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pmetcalfe92 (9/5): Superb -
- Lucy (5/5): If you just need somewhere to get your head down this will do. Nothing more to say really - Modern feel. Had everything you needed for a short stay Shower was tiny. I am plus sized and couldn’t shower because of it.
Ants in the kitchen
The door needs replacing locked by the tiniest bit. The door frame is so old.
Bed was not comfortable at all.
- Dave (4/5): Disappointing - Beds were comfy, secure parking and close to Sidcup town centre. Not bad for the price and was ok for 1 night. Bedding dated, towels stained, toilet roll had marks on it, old used sponge to clean pots. Noisy with people coming back at night. Not a studio apartment, more a converted garage.
- Cook (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Midweek oasis - Safe in site parking, nice and quiet location and no traffic noise.
Comfortable, new/ recently decorated room, with new appliances. Going home
- 1989 (9/5): Superb -
- Lazarus (8/5): Very good -
- Lazarus (8/5): Very good -
- Lazarus (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcpherson (1/5): Bad - The cooking utensils were not clean the oven was like it had been used the night before with crumbs left in the trays. The walls are very thin hearing the next door’s conversation word for word no privacy what so ever. Wouldn’t recommend it for the money
- Schmidt (3/5): Don’t go there - Good location The pictures very misleading. It looks good on the picture but in reall it is a crampt and not nice place
- Diana (9/5): It was good. - The location was convenient for my need. Car park was full at night.
- Andy (9/5): Superb -
- Lazarus (8/5): Very good - Easy checking in Bad WiFi affecting TV
- Cristiano (10/5): Exceptional -
- Azhar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kelly (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Debra (8/5): I liked the studio it was warm and comfortable. - It was what I expected No sound proofing. Baby next door crying and I heard every word of family Pity the management didn’t place me on the other end of block as it was empty.
- Oatley (9/5): Superb - Last minute booking, totally unresearched, place is OK, nothing special to look at, we had a studio that was clean, very presentable, great bed, good facilities, parking right outside and for the money absolutely spot on.
- Kelly (10/5): The staff wer friendly and the rooms bedding and amenities were great - Clean and tidy Everything was perfect
- Alison (6/5): Very clean. Comfortable bed and all kitchen equipment well thought out. - Very clean.
Bags of hot water.
Very well equipped.
Secure parking. Difficult to see the numbers on the door code in the dark, a light shone on it made it worse.
On leaving, the instruction says to drive to the gates and they will open, what they don't tell you is the gates open inwards, ie towards the car.
No bedside table, no bedside light so you have to get out of bed to turn off the main light .
Shower head rail too high.
Toilet seat loose.
- White (4/5): Lovely place if you don’t get a bad next door neighbour and reasonable price - The property it self was lovely There was a couple of things that weren’t cleaned to a high standard (shower)+(oven) but apart from that everything was good inside , the problem was the next door neighbour he woke us every 20/40 minutes going outside , which set the sensor light off which clicks and outside door makes a noise ,we ended up leaving at 4:30 in the morning with about an hours sleep !
- Rob (8/5): Good secure parking. Easy to find and access the property - Had everything I needed
- Eleni (10/5): Exceptional -
- 1989 (8/5): Overall very pleasant lovely staff - It was clean and a good size Couldn’t find the internet as it wasn’t located where stated. No clean drinking water
- Michael (8/5): convenient, clean and secluded in spacious grounds - I got text details of how to access but once I was on the grounds , everything was perfect.
I was easy to get help with appliances, as staff on site, were quick to assist and ensure everything was easy to use.
Nice quiet venue, with secure parking better lighting near door entry system, but staff were on-site to open gates if needed
- Quinlan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tamrakar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susan (8/5): We liked the apartment. It was comfortable and suited our needs. - The Ruxley studio is convenient and central for us to visit relatives.
We have previously stayed in a room in the house, but found it small and noisy. The studio is roomier and quieter. The facilities and equipment in the kitchen area were very good. The bathroom was also well fitted out, with a clean, modern suite, and shower. There wasn't a mirror in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. Also, no toilet roll holder, which meant we had to reach round to get toilet roll off the top of the toilet when going to the loo.
- Sevval (2/5): Very poor -
- Madeline (8/5): Very good -
- Ruby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacob (7/5): Good -
- Jaybee (4/5): The location is nice. Property is gated and it's safe. Otherwise, it's not value for money. - No breakfast was served. In terms of the location, it's a bit tricky. It's a lovely area but there's no direct buses to travel to places like Orpington. Very thin walls. There's no sound proof. We could clearly hear every single sound from the other room. We heard every sound.
I needed to submit something on line, halfway through the Internet went off. Unbelievable! I could have had a better service if I'd paid £20 extra and stayed in a hotel.
The bathroom had a bad smell.
- Taela (8/5): Very good - Great little property, behind gates so everything feels safe, needed batteries for the remote and owner came and brought some. Would stay again. Nothing bad to say
- Halsey (9/5): Fantastic stay, such a cute room! - This properly is so cute and was lovely to stay in! Perfect size for me and had all the facilities I could ask for. Bed was super comfortable and, with a little help from the owner, was able to connect to the WiFi with ease. Had no trouble with the room at all, it was just what I needed. The room was a little warm and the freezer looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. You can hear the guests in the opposite room quite clearly - but wasn’t too much of an issue for me!
- Odu (8/5): Very good - Modern, cozy and had everything needed Needed cleaning. Dust behind the television, cobwebs and finger nails on the floor
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Secure parking, friendly host Not the owners faults, but one guest decided to bock me in car park one morning, and I had to wait an hour for him to turn up and move his car.
