The location is excelent, right by the Silver lake, shopping streets and bars/restaurants. The hotel is in a pottery shop, which closes at nighttime. We had no problem getting in, but it ment having to wait outside before the staff could come down and let us inside.

• Magdalene (8/5): Super zentral und sauber - Die Lage war super zentral und die Unterkunft war sauber und ruhig. Der Kühlschrank hat sehr stark gerochen. Getränke, die wir im Kühlschrank gelagert hatten konnte man kaum trinken, weil die den Geruch des Kühlschrankes angenommen haben. Etwas wenig Stauraum in den einzelnen Zimmern, aber das Wohnzimmer ist groß genug.

• YUL (9/5): - location is spot on, very near to the shops and restaurants. A few block away from a michelin approved resto Pho 10. The place feels homey, aircondition work and its very clean. We have our own balcony :) The entering and exiting is not of ease eventhough they have a 24 hour reception. It is still a hassle to contact reception to open the entrance and close the door after 10pm and you have to be careful with the ceramics being caught with you as they along the narrow path of the entrance to the lift

We were woken up in the middle of the night by people going up and down the staircase and talking loudly. The sofa bed wasn’t the best but since we were only there for one night it was fine.

• Paula (9/5): Personal top, saubere Unterkunft - Das Personal war sehr freundlich! Das Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Man muss durch einen Porzellanladen hindurch um den Aufzug zum Zimmer zu nehmen, ist allerdings selbst nachts, wenn der Laden zu hat, kein Problem. Es wird immer geöffnet um die Gäste herein zu lassen. Gute Lage! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit innenliegenden Fenster. War allerdings trotzdem okay für eine Nacht.

Overall the apartel is clean with sufficient space for a TV corner and sofa set to sit and chat. Have a small pantry area to use and free flow of drinking to top up at the reception area. The narrow aisle when entering at level 1 where there is a shop selling ceramic items, havr to be alert not to knock down any ceramic items on sales floor and wall areas. When there are tourists browsing the shop, it will be crowded to move in or out.

Nous avons été logés dans une chambre -salle d'eau et un salon -terrasse sans salle de bain. (nous sommes 4 adultes). C'était un peu juste niveau confort, mais la gentillesse de Longly et du personnel a fait que nous avons passé 3 jours sympas.

• Mills (10/5): Good stay in a central area - It was easy to walk to the old town or around the lake in the evening. The room was simple but had everything we needed, good for resting after a long day of walking. The staff were very kind and replied quickly and clearly whenever I needed help. For the price in such a central area, I think it was good value.

Great location & responsive staff - Location was great and convenient & staff responsive to needs Photos did not quite justify - rooms a bit small especially apartment for 5 & ' extra bed' in triple room could be more comfortable. Water pressure was weak & being warned ' not to flush toilet paper' was not quite what I expected. If they consider themselves as a homestay ( as it was on top of a shop) - then advertise as a homestay ( not aparthotel)

The rooms were above the ceramic shop and it can feel a little cramped. The washroom was very, very small. It didn't feel like they'd put clean bedsheets or if the bedsheets didn't get cleaned properly because the bedding had some dust and marks.

I was moved to another location and didn't actually stay in this building due to it being sold out. The shower drained quite slowly and there was an awkward plastic seat as part of the shower that took up a lot of space. The windows were not soundproof/sealed, so you can smell cigarette smoke easily from outside and hear noise.

• Margot (4/5): Chambre bien située mais hygiène et confort à revoir - Très peu de choses hormis une bonne situation géographique en plein centre d’Hanoï et une chambre au calme Le descriptif ne correspond pas du tout à la réalité! Nous avons occupé une chambre sans fenêtre extérieure. Malgré notre demande, le ménage de la salle de bains n’a pas été fait quotidiennement (4 nuits sur place), ni les serviettes de bain changées (une seule serviette/personne), ni les poubelles vidées. Il a fallu réclamer du papier toilette. La salle de bains était vraiment vétuste, l’évacuation de la douche à revoir et pas d’eau chaude tard le soir. Nous n’avons eu aucune connexion internet durant notre séjour. La qualité de l’accueil est vraiment à revoir (difficultés pour se comprendre en anglais, aucune attention ni souci de notre hôte à notre égard). Au moment du départ, il nous a été demandé de payer les boissons consommées (dans le mini-réfrigérateur) alors que cela ne nous avait pas été indiqué à l’arrivée! Notre hôte a fini par nous faire don des 2 petites bouteilles d’eau consommées! Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.
• Anastasiia (1/5): Unpleasant and stressful experience - My stay was a scam-like experience. I suspect that the room shown on Booking.com does not exist in this hotel. On the morning of my check-in day (before arrival), I received a message saying I was being redirected to a completely different hotel called Alumas Home, located at a noisy street junction. The photos in the listing were clearly taken in Alumas Home, not in Flaxur Apartel - the photo with the balcony view confirms this very clearly. The room I was given for the first two nights was very humid and extremely noisy, making it almost impossible to sleep. When I asked the receptionist, they kept insisting there was no availability at the actual Flaxur building, even though Booking.com still showed open rooms. Only after I pointed this out did they suddenly "find" a room for the rest of my stay. They called it an "upgrade," but I suspect it was simply because the advertised room type doesn't exist. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing and stressful experience. I do not recommend this property.

• Wella (9/5): Overall, we have a good stay. Our room is spacious (we literally own a whole unit during our stay). The staff are friend - Very accessible. Right in the heart of the Old Quarter. Walking distance to the church, best restaurants and cafes, lake, and the train street Since it is connected to the pottery store, it closes as the store closes so when you stay late at night outside, you have to have somebody from inside to open the door for you.
