Communication was fantastic throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for more attentive advice and availability. The host took pride in their apartment and their service and went above and beyond to make us feel valued and at home.
• MBM (10/5): Apartamento maravilloso a pocos minutos del centro. - La localización es perfecta, junto a la Trattoria Tito que es también maravillosa. El apartamento está renovado, con todas las comodidades e incluso con obras de arte realizadas por el propietario. Éste ha sido un gran anfitrión y ha estado pendiente de nosotras ayudándonos en todo momento desde el mismo momento de la reserva. Tiene un baño completo y un aseo. Cuatro camas individuales que puedes transformar en dobles. Tiene lavadora y un pequeño balcón donde puedes secar la ropa. No tiene ascensor pero el primer día nos subieron las maletas hasta el apartamento, lo cual es un detalle. Las ventanas son antiguas así que entra algo de ruido de la calle, algo común en Florencia.

Marcello was a great host, we helped us with our bags when we checked in and also took the time to give us a house tour. We were welcomed in the best way possible and my family felt at home. The house was spacious and well arranged and we enjoyed our stay so much. I will recommend Marcello to all my friends who will travel to Florence and I will for sure come back. It was the best family trip we had in years,

• Adrian (9/5): A unique and comfortable place to stay in a quiet area of Firenze close to the centre. - The owner was very flexible in the arrangement to check in, and he and his sons took our baggage up the stairs to the apartment. Breakfast was provided. The apartment is most unusual in the interest provided by the owner's excellent and witty art, and was comfortable and well-equipped. Its location is in a quiet area close to the centre of Firenze, about 7 minutes's walk from a Carrefour Express supermarket and 15 minutes' walk from the Duomo. There are two tram stops within 5 minutes' walk, Lavagnini Poliziano and Cavour, which make it easy to get to & from the main railway station (Firenze SMN). We enjoyed our stay very much, thank you!

The layout and functionality, beautifully decorated with original art, the well equipped kitchen and access to the fresh herb garden on the balcony. Marcello is an excellent host who met us upon arrival and communicated with us throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. He provided an extensive list of things to do and see along with recommended restaurants. We enjoyed staying in a quiet neighborhood which was about a 15-minute walk to the Duomo. Be aware that this apartment is on the 4th floor and only accessible by stairs.

It was truly impressive how thoughtfully curated our entire experience was! - Attention to detail in both form and function: beautifully decorated with the added beauty of the host’s own artwork. Well stocked, extremely functional kitchen with luxury touches like delicious espresso/cappuccino & thriving herb garden on the terrace. Great AC saved us from a heatwave. The hosts were warm & welcoming with excellent communication throughout, including excellently curated recommendations for sites, shopping and restaurants. They even surprised us with a delicious bottle of local wine and a very unique parting gift.

The art made it stand out from the other apartments we considered, and having two bedrooms gave us the space we needed as a family. Living in a small village in Scotland we don’t have much noise at all. Being in the heart of a bustling and vibrant city, some noise is inevitable, but don’t let that put you off.

We loved the artwork decor and friendly hosts who were always responsive and provided us with suggestions around the city. Highly recommend and would come back to stay again! No elevator to reach this fourth floor apt, but our hosts met us there and kindly assisted with bringing luggage both up/down during our stay.

The apartment felt calm, clean, well-equipped and instantly comfortable, like a home away from home. The bakery right across the road quickly became our favourite spot to have morning coffee and breakfast, and everything else we needed was just around the corner. • Celine (7/5): Marcello was one of the best host I've experienced so far. - That someone was there to greet us. The host (Marcello) was very kind and helpful. The apartment was clean. I'm a walker so the location for me was perfect. The description of the apartment should mentioned that there is over 50 stairs to take before you get to the apartment with no elevators. It is very noisy outside so for a light sleeper like me, it was a problem. Last thing, the shower needs some repairs.
• J (10/5): Perfect ! nothing to complain. Very homey. - The host provided excellent service! They were patient and understanding, offering hotel-like hospitality. They waited for us to collect our keys, carried our heavy luggage up to the third floor, gave us a thorough introduction to the house, shared information about nearby attractions and delicious food, and arranged transportation to the train station on our last day. I couldn't have asked for more from the host! The sound insulation wasn't great, but I would expect that to be typical for most accommodations in Florence
• Susan (10/5): Little gem in a great location for a great price! - Everything! Good size apartment with fabulous decor, kitchen well equipped, bathrooms modern, beds huge and very comfortable. Lots of little touches that make it feel like a home away from home. Cute little balcony. About a 10 minute walk from the main touristy stuff. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. Will absolutely stay again and thoroughly recommend. I hate to say I was unhappy with anything - but you do get street noise and can hear the occupants of the rooms below. This didn’t bother my companion in the other bedroom, and certainly would not stop me from staying again - but if you are a light sleeper then you might need earplugs.

It had everything we needed, including a washer, coffee machine, AC worked great, really really beautiful space! 3 flights of stairs! But the host kindly assisted with our bags when we arrived and when we left.

Marcello was an excellent host, great communication and helped us a lot finding things to do and places to eat in Florence. It's a little further out from the centre than we expected, so you tend to end up walking back and forth a lot.

Enjoyed the games and puzzles. There is a nice bakery nearby called Puli Forno, suggested by owner. Thanks for everything! Only one thing - The kids didn't like walking to the train station as it was a decent walk in the summer heat. Florence taxis are exorbitantly priced FYI. The neighbourhood rubbish collection is also quite noisy but no fault of the lovely staff and property.

Very spacious and very clean, tech savy and overall very comfortable.Has everyting you need: big bathroom and small bathroom, spacious kitchen fully equiped plus complementary treats and vine were a nice surprise, the beds in both bedrooms are very comfortable and living room perfect for having some good time with friends. The host was very helpfull with everything. Great location, 5-10 mkn from train station by taxi and 15 min to historic center. Highly reccomend and definetly will come back!!!
• Kieran (10/5): A lovely apartment very clean and a brilliant host - The host Marcello was exceptional we were late arriving and he was there to greet us and even left us some fruit water and treats He gave great information on places to see and restaurants The apartment was really clean with good facilities plenty of linen and towels the air conditioning was great it was spacious enough for four people. There are supermarkets within walking distance and there is a bus stop very near the apartment to bring you into the centre Nothing about the apartment but be prepared to climb stairs
• Mohammed (10/5): Perfect - was a perfect stay and i found everything i was looking for. The host is great helped us with our luggage during check-in and check-out, furthermore he provided a full list of places and restaurants to visit. The apartment was spotless.
• Amelia (10/5): The perfect apartment in Florence - We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay in Florence! Our host was so kind and accommodating, he even made a crib mobile for our baby! His restaurant recommendations were great, too. This apartment is comfortable, modern, clean, lovely, and in such a great location (not far from all the action but far enough where it was quiet for being in the city center). There are restaurants, pizzarias, cafes, wine shops, and pharmacies right in the neighborhood. The busses were an easy walk away. And all the sites/museums were also walkable. The wifi, dishwasher, clothes washer, Alexa speaker, and espresso machine all worked well. The beds were very comfortable, the light is bright and welcoming, and the art is creative and very cool. The large dining table was perfect for dinner. It was also nice to have AC on the hot summer days. We wish we could have stayed longer and would love to stay here again! We didn't mind the stairs but this might not be a fit for guests who can't go up 3 flights of stairs.

Really pleasant to be there, and super comfortable as well. We loved the wine Marcello left for us in the flat and he was very kind in helping us with our luggage. It gets a bit noisy during the night, but this doesn’t prevent you from sleeping well and comfortably
