There was a thoughtful and tasteful mix of Balinese, traditional and funky aesthetics that paid respect to the design of the house and created a welcoming ambiance... And oh, that starry starry bathroom! We were provided with quality breakfast basics, including a few extra treats to make us smile. The front deck was perfect to sample local wine and produce while watching the sunset over the ridge. We very much enjoyed every aspect of the experience and didn't like having to leave.

- Sophie (9/5): AMAZING place, definitely visiting again! - Such a lovely stay, an amazing house in an amazing location, so close to centre of town! The hosts were so lovely, leaving us fresh bread, juice and cookies, and the place is decorated so beautifully. There were certain crockery they didn’t have like cereal bowls and no coffee table in the front room but those were very small in comparison to the amazing place.

The WiFi cut off/out on the first night but only effected the tv not our phones, unplugged and replugged, reset the wifi etc but nothing worked. Also we tried everything to light the gas fires but couldn't get them going. Did everything the instructions said to do. Don't know if it was us or they just weren't working.

The owners have the most amazing taste and added so many thoughtful components to the house that enhance the stay even further. The cost house is perfect for a Daylesford retreat I could not recommend this place enough!! If your wanting to stay in Daylesford and have an amazing time THIS IS YOUR PLACE 🫶🏼🫶🏼

- Julie (10/5): Absolute wonderful time at Stockton House our trip was a spur of the moment getaway, loved it. - Stockton House was magical. It had everything we needed. Fresh flowers in the kitchen and bathroom was a lovely touch. Also nice to have a few basic supplies provided, loaf of bread, butter, milk, orange juice, bottle of mineral water, and lovely melting moment biscuits. Nothing everything was great.

Beautiful bread, and butter, spring water and perfect OJ in fridge and lovely vase of greenery with chocolate fudge biscuits. Spa experience bath with bath salts, magnesium and gentle lux soap. Fully ready to go open fire with cut wood. The beds were luxurious and very very comfortable with the ability to open the window for fresh air. We slept in both mornings which is unheard of for us. The soft furnishings make the rest rooms so cosy. Two sitting areas is a bonus plus ample outside retreats. Also plenty of nice glasses to enjoy the special wine we brought along. The bedroom blinds, although blockout, let a lot of light in the sides in the mornings, as too little overlap on the sides; we woke up very early each morning.
