• Cassandra (10/5): Cosy, comfy and fun - How cost it was! Walking in to an already stoked fire and warm cottage was amazing on a cold and rainy day 😊 the wild life was an added bonus! The kids loved the wallabies, rabbits and the brightest colored birds we’d seen in Tasmania! We also loved playing the monkey game - thanks for stocking lots of fun things to do inside while the weather is a bit dreary.

• Bo (9/5): Perfect for a little get away weekend on Bruny. - Amazing location. Got to sit on the deck and watch the sunset over the water. The fire heated up the house instantly and the beds were super comfortable. I have no complaints.

No indication in property description pre-warned prospective guests that house is on a working farm and therefore animal droppings should be expected. Mattress in main bedroom was extremely firm and unforgiving, as was the lounge. Decor suits farm stay.

• Sharon (10/5): Great Cottage in a Good Position on Bruny - Comfortable, warm with good heating options. Nice beds and bedding. Lovely view and quiet Nothing, sad that it rained so we were not able to enjoy the outdoors
• Christine (10/5): A very comfortable home away from home. - The house was very well appointed with comfortable furniture, plenty of kitchen utensils and an excellent pantry of staples. The house itself was excellent inside but I would have liked a bit more of a garden outside.

• Klaus Kemmerich (10/5): Sehr entspannender ruhiger Aufenthalt mit großem Grundstück und netter Aussicht - empfehlenswert! - Ganzes Ferienhaus auf kleiner Anhöhe mit Blick über die Bucht, sehr gute Ausstattung, Möbel bequem und zweckmäßig - alles hat sehr gut funktioniert. Wenn nicht gerade mal ein Fahrzeug auf der Straße fährt ist alles sehr ruhig und entspannend - Cafe Lunawanna zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Leider haben wir in 3 Tagen nur ein kleines Wallaby gesehen, obwohl die vielen Ausscheidungen auf der Wiese, nach höherem Betrieb aussahen - ist aber Natur und kein Makel der Unterkunft.

• Brenda and Michael (10/5): Spacious but cosy retro cottage in a great location with water views - A gorgeous retro cottage overlooking Daniel’s Bay, cosy but spacious with large bedrooms, living space with a fireplace and Located between Lunawanna Cafe (excellent coffee) and Hotel Bruny (great pub meals). A terrific location is you are staying on the island as everything else closes at 4pm. The Bread Fridge for fresh daily sourdough is only 8 minutes up the road. Nil.

The comfort, the view, and the fact that they provide basic cooking essentials like salt, sugar, coffee, pepper, some sauces, and oil — that was a special plus for us. Well stocked with cooking and kitchenware so preparing you own food is a simple affair. A very relaxing place to kick back on a mini-break to Bruny. The house is a little exposed to the road but it has a minimal amount of traffic so no big deal.

• LAW (9/5): A very comfortable stay. - A really fascinating view of the seashore where you can see the sunset and many birds around. Kangaroos were all around at the lawn after dusk. It was unfortunate that the lawn outside the house was damaged by the previous occupant as informed by the owner.

• Dominique (9/5): Comfortable and close to the pub - We love visiting Bruny Island and Little Belmont is very well located, being close to the only pub on the Island. The house is comfortable and the vista exceptional.
• Louise (6/5): - The view from the house was fantastic and the house was very clean. The owners were kind in letting us check in early. House and facilities were more basic than I expected. No hand towels, no bath mat, not many kitchen utensils, no kindling for the fire. Furniture was fine but not really comfortable.

The communication with the owners was very good. It was cosy and warm. A good location and had nice views. A beaut cafe just walking distance up the road. The place wasn't cleaned before we got there, but that was ok as the cleaners arrived soon after (as they had delays in their work schedule) and it was cleaned efficiently.

Sitting by the fire and roasting marshmallows right in front of the house made it feel truly special—short stay, but full of beautiful moments. Thank you so much for the late check-out—it really made our stay more relaxed and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the extra time! The shower rail had a bad leak, and water was splashing onto the wall and mirror. Just a heads-up in case it needs fixing.

Such peaceful surrounds, but you can still get a good coffee just around the corner and a great pub meal 10 minutes down the road. Lots of wildlife around. Amazing wood-burner fire. Nothing. It was perfect for us.
• Louise (9/5): A lovely cottage to escape to with views, sunsets and serenity - The serenity, the view, the local wildlife, the sunsets, the fireplace , comfortable furnishings including the bed and the property was cosy, clean and nicely presented. To sum it up we loved everything about this accommodation. Great communication from host it was prompt and very informative. The pantry had a good selection of various items to help travellers. We stayed 3 nights it was a delightful. Nothing . We would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed.

The owners gave very detailed instructions and information prior to arrival. Everything was great. But there were some potholes on the driveway into the property - please beware. There is no heater in the bathroom.

Very clean, spacious & comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. Beautiful view over the bay. Highly recommend this property. There was nothing to dislike.
• Lynette (10/5): Holiday by the Water - Loved the thought that has gone onto fitting this cottage out, very suitable for a couple or family. Well equipped for self catering. Beds were very comfortable. There is an abundance of bird life both around the cottage and across the road on the water, plenty of babies at this time of year. Great location for exploring South Bruny.

Thanks I think the heater in the bedroom wasn’t working properly Though we haven’t used much It’s not major issue for us

Communication was excellent, down to things to see and do in order from disembarking the Bruny Island ferry.. nothing seems too much for the hosts of Little Belmont.. The only thing I found to be a slight let down was the second bed room bed, it is a like too cramped for adults due to it being a double single bunk.

• Maryana (8/5): Very good - Very cozy and very warm even with the cold night. I had a lovely view, and adorable wallabies as a neighbours. The only thing I would say is that it has a bit of smell, like a greasy smell of smoke or something, very strong. Apart from that, very lovely place.
• Sharon (8/5): Had a good stay, I’m sure it would have been excellent had the weather played ball. Missed sitting around the fire pit l - Loved the view. Close to the Hotel for drinks and dinner. Very comfortable with all the necessities. Easy drive to get there from the Ferry with lots of places to stop and do things along the way. (Oysters, Beer & Cheese, Viewing spots). Loved they were could bring our elderly dog instead of placing her in the kennel. We arrived & stayed through some horrendous weather. Parking from the house is about 20-25metres, it would have been no problem if the weather wasn’t cyclonic.
