Guest Reviews
- DanaeOlga (10/5): Best place we ever stayed - The Lodge was incredible, the best location I have ever stayed, you are close to everything you want to visit.
We all loved the lodge, great space to spent in after a long day. There was nothing I didn't like.
- Yi Tsam (10/5): nice view and very good stay. fit for huge group travellers - nice view and very good stay. fit for huge group travellers a bit far to town
- Neil (10/5): - Lodge was amazing. Great views. Entire Lodge was really cozy.
Layout was great. Plenty of room for everyone
- Stacey (10/5): Perfect weekend. - Everything, it was all absolutely perfect. Location, views, the lodge and all the facilities.
The lodge was so lovely & warm, it was lovely to wake up on the winter mornings to lovely warmth. Everything in the lodge was perfect too, bedrooms all having bathrooms, with showers and a bath, beautiful. Absolutely nothing.
- Marius (10/5): Very beautiful place - Amazing location. Very clean, warm, beautiful and specious lodge. Everything you need for relaxing holiday!
- laura (10/5): - Location was stunning Heating system not the best but heaters were supplied to warm up rooms
- Natalie (9/5): Lovely stay and great views. - Wonderful views and lots of room so didn’t feel crowded. The underfloor heating didn’t work so was cold a lot unfortunately. But once had a lot of layers on wasn’t too bad.
- Fiona (10/5): -
- Géraldine (10/5): Beautiful well equipped lodge with stunning views - Stunning views, gorgeous Lodge, lovely location Walks for dogs hard to find from lodge. We struggled a bit
- Sinead (10/5): Ideal place for peace and relaxation and seeing wildlife on door step. - Great central yet quiet location. 19 year old Niece did a bungee jump and we didn't want to stay in hotels etc so this location was perfect. We visited castle and gardens Queens view walks and will be looking to book again next year but for longer to share experience with other family members.
- James (10/5): ... - Everything, location,layout, facilities, ...
- Inge (8/5): Goed, voor natuur liefhebbers. - Uitzicht, wandel mogelijkheden Wifi was erg langzaam
- joseph anthony (9/5): Peaceful and comfortable and great value for money - Space and value for money, very good location and excellent views The access road needs attention to pot holes, no toiletries as stated would be provided and only 3 full toilet rolls for 5 people
- Wiktoria (10/5): idealny - spokojna okolica, wygodne łóżka, każda sypialnia dysponuje własną łazienką.
- Farquhar (10/5): - Excellent accommodation and beautiful scenery Internet needs to be improved. If your party has more than 2 people using devices then they will freeze. Small issue, for what was an outstanding stay.
- Elizabeth (10/5): beautiful location and accommodation. Very clean and well equipped. -
- Alison (7/5): Beautiful location, but lodge could be cleaner - Location is excellent and the lodge was beautifully decorated and well equipped. The cleaner had neglected to dust and remove cobwebs from the lodge, and we had to buy bottled water as the water was brown.
- Sajin (10/5): Exceptional - We had a truly memorable and enjoyable stay at this lovely holiday accommodation. The mesmerizing views were absolutely breathtaking, and we were delighted to have deer visiting the property – a magical experience, especially for the kids!
The location is fantastic, making it a great base for exploring the Highlands. It's ideal for two families, offering ample space and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere While the accommodation was very comfortable overall, it would have been even better if toiletries and a tumble dryer were provided. The WiFi was also quite slow, which made staying connected a bit challenging at times.
That said, these were minor issues compared to the overall experience. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the Highlands.
- Debbie (10/5): Highly Recommend - The lodge was just what we required clean tidy and fantastic location Nothing
- Katie (10/5): We had a fantastic weekend in a beautiful lodge. Will definitely return. - Stunning property with fantastic views. Nothing. We loved it.
- Stephanie (10/5): Perfect Break - The Lodge was outstanding. It was clean, tidy and very spacious. 3 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms, stunning views and an excellent location with a beautiful walk around the lodge. We have already discussed dates to go back.
- Gillian (9/5): Lovely peaceful and very comfortable get away in a beautiful part of Scotland - Spacious, with all 3 bedrooms being en suite and excellent outdoor eating/ sitting area too. Beautiful views across the hills. Direct access into hills as well as the local landmarks. The WiFi was very poor and unreliable. This didn’t bother the adults as much as the teenagers!
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional - The lodge was lovely with beautiful views. It was a relaxing, peaceful holiday. Lovely walks and loved watching the deer on the hills and swans in the Loch.
- Emi (9/5): Serene stay on a loch - Very comfortable, beautiful location, amazing space. We watched deer from the balcony. Warm and newly renovated. There were no spare blankets or throw rugs. Would have been appreciated.
I didn't realise it was park of a park. I only had the name of the lodge, so it wasn't clear when arriving if I was on the right place, or where to go to find my lodge.
- Bernd (10/5): Exceptional - Great view from the terrace. -
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - It was amazing place and we were there for Blair horse trails N/a
- Ramona (9/5): Nice getaway from the crowds. - This cabin had so much room for our family. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We had some difficulty operating appliances but a notebook was provided with instructions. Outside deck was wonderful. watching all the deer nearby was a treat. Close to some attractions, the deer park was great to visit for the family. Windy curvy road to get to cabin is not idea for children who get carsick. WIFI was usually not available but considering the tradeoff is the peace and quiet and lovely surroundings that was manageable.
- Nigel (10/5): Amazing large property with large bedrooms and a great social area ideal for socialising with friends - Amazing property - great social area and large bedrooms all en-suite
Faculties very good
Great views from balcony WiFi was slow
- Patrick (10/5): Perfect family holiday location - The lodge was very spacious and welcoming. It had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean and we all had a great sleep each night. Aberfeldy is only a 15 minute drive, pitlochry is only about a 35 minute drive also so the location was ideal for us N/A
- Andrew (7/5): Overall, enjoyable stay and lovely location - No e-mail with info for Key box code received. The property was pretty clean but there were a lot of spider's webs on the ceilings which should been removed prior to our entering the property.
- Mark (9/5): Whole family, mum, dad, kids and the dog thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Lochside Lodge. - Great location, spacious, cosy, comfortable accommodation, quiet and peaceful.
An ideal base for exploring Highland Perthshire. Very minor gripe, couple of extra teaspoons wouldn’t go amiss, only 3.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
