Guest Reviews
- Carol (8/5): Great property with everything you would want. - Well laid out property as as shown in photos. Everything you would want in a lovely location. Parking really useful as very limited on the street. Nothing.
- Ahmet (7/5): Not a bad stay kitchen and living room was cery spacious and comfy - Spacious and comfy The bathroom next to the kitchen, it also smelt really bad in there so i didnt use it at all
The water kept going cold whilst showering in the downstairs bathroom
- Jayne (4/5): If it wasn’t for the plumbing issues it would have been perfect. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the kitchen die to the sm - It was spacious and if it weren’t for plumbing issues it would have been perfect There is an isssue with the plumbing which caused a terrible smell from the bathroom that travelled all the way through the kitchen and living area. The macerator pump in the en-suite also leaked
- Harry (10/5): Fantastic property in a quiet village surrounded by the stunning Afan Forest - A huge property, very well presented and maintained. The scenery is beautiful. It was perfect for our long weekend away, in particular the living and dining rooms which were enormous! If the weather had been better we'd have taken advantage of the outdoor areas as well. The kitchen had everything you could need for your stay. We'll certainly look forward to visiting again. Nothing, it was great!
- Ross (8/5): Comfortable, easy access to where we wanted to go. - The property had everything we needed including kitchen needs like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, sugar. I had brought all these things with me but needn’t had to. I was very impressed. Just the lighting was quite dim in the evenings.
- Mduduzi (10/5): Lovely home away from home - We loved the picturesque setting of the cottage, the cottage was very relaxing and comfortable to stay in. We would definitely want to stay again!! The water pressure sometimes was an issue in that it turned off sometimes and lost pressure sometimes, but these were mentioned in the booklet
- Linda (10/5): Nice location ,very comfortable everything we needed was there - Location Water pressure
- Alec (10/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): Lovely get away, great for beaches and Afan forest bike riding/walking was great, would definitely visit again. - Location and the layout of the rooms There was a lot of recycling/rubbish left on the drive by previous occupants, there were cigarette butts all over the upper and lower decking areas even though no smoking was allowed. There was only 4 forks yet 5 of us stayed and the house accommodates 8. The oven/grill pan was dirty with burnt on grease and dirt, it had been left to soak but I then had to spend half an hour scrubbing it clean and putting it in the dishwasher before it could be used.
Otherwise the house was perfect for what we needed and we would stay again, the above just took the shine off the initial part of the holiday.
- Melanie (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Payal (6/5): Clean, beautiful location but over priced. - The location was good and the single beds were comfortable. The property was clean. A couple of things:
1 - £120 cleaning fee is very high
2 - double beds were super uncomfortable
3 - the water flow in the toilets is a big issue for a warm shower. If any water tap is on, the flow is minimal and the hot water is not consistent.
4 - Not value for money given the above points.
- Mohammadreza (8/5): Very good -
- Mathew (9/5): Superb -
- Kashif (9/5): Superb - Good Location with off-street parking. Felt at home and comfortable. 2 outdoor patio spaces, but we didn't use much due to weather. Could be cleaner.
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Great - Very spacious for 5 of us, clean and quiet location
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location to explore Afan Forest. You could walk, run or cycle from the property on to off road paths/trails. Property was really spacious and comfortable. Had off road parking which is always a bonus. Had 2 little decks to sit outside in good weather.
- Jase (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (9/5): The house was lovely and Clean with little touches that made it homey. - The layout of the property suited our needs perfectly.
Beautiful scenery and walks
Locals were friendly and the local shop was 10 doors away.
Local Cafe - we didnot use it though The water sometimes went off if someone else was using he Taps etc, but did not have a massive impact.
- Faith (10/5): Perfect spot for a family getaway.if - The home was extremely well furnished and very comfortable. The location was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views over the mountains and just a short walk to the river. A perfect spot for a family stay. The house could benefit from a dropped kerb on the driveway and the water pressure in the showers isn't the best if both are in use as the same time but neither are major issues or would prevent me from booking again.
- Michele (9/5): Superb - A good location for visiting many places in the area Afan Argoed, Aberavon Beach and the Mumbles.
Well equipped house with everything needed for comfortable stay.
- Jason (10/5): had a fantastic stay at the property and the home owner was really helpful and a delight to deal with looking forward to - property was absolutely beautiful couldn’t fault the property what so ever, would of been nice to have a tv in each bedroom for guests that like their own space but other than that can’t fault it
- Kyle (8/5): Very good -
- Jackie (9/5): Second visit at Llareggub and great location for our needs. Price increase possibly due to holidays - Excellent location, very big house, large kitchen, separate bathrooms Water pressure in downstairs shower could be better, Could do with a few more saucepans, need cork screw
