Guest Reviews
- Tomasz (9/5): Nice comfortable stay - Very clean and tidy apartment with modern bathroom.Nice quiet area to stay for night away to meet friend. Will definitely book again once in the area
- Jessica (10/5): Very clean and comfortable - Beautiful presentation
- Janet (8/5): Bed was comfortable but feather pillows and feather duvet could be of concern to allergy sufferers but otherwise fine - The locality was in a peaceful setting where you could hear the birds chirping and whistling The oversized tv was overpowering the room, one half the size would have sufficed, we didn’t have it on because of this reason
- thompson (10/5): Excellent location and facilities felt very at home - Everthing was very good
- Louise (9/5): -
- Naveed (7/5): - The listing suggested a 1 bedroom apartment however it was actually a studio apartment
- Was (10/5): -
- Claire (9/5): - Super area and the property super cute. Lovely host, very helpful. We stayed for two nights. Unfortunately, I doubt if we'll visit again as we were only in the area for a wedding weekend but I'm very glad we found it on this occasion! Thank you so much. Nothing.
- Chandler's Ltd (8/5): Lovely place to stop the night. - Comfortable and pleasant.
We will be returning, one of the nicer places to stay in Tamworth for the price. There wasn't anywhere to hang my clothes.
- Tim (7/5): Ok for one night - Good enough for a one night stay. Nice big TV. Clean throughout. Hard to find as satnav takes you to a different address. Hard to locate the right place in the dark. Bed very soft as others have commented. Local pub but little else within an easy walk. Instructions from the app message are small and hard to read.
- Linda (7/5): - The sprung mattress was way too soft think it was rather old. Otherwise place was good. New mattress needed.
- Chloe (10/5): as we go to the little laxford lodge we didn’t struggle to find it there was a sign and loved the fact there was a gate - the property was a beautiful little quiet
area and lovely little space the furniture was very trendy and loved the little leaflet on the side to show us what is around the place -
- Helen (9/5): - The host Louise was fantastic, helping with all my questions! Location was perfect for the wedding venue Coton House Farm. As a solo traveller I felt safe & secure at all times with key pad controlled gates. The kitchenette was spot on for my needs & fresh milk in the fridge, welcome tray, amazing, thank you! A very personal thing to me, but mattress & pillows very very soft!

- Jodie (10/5): Perfect - Perfect location good communication comfortable and clean

- Nigel (8/5): Worked well for us for a one night stay - Quiet location that suited our purpose of visiting Tamworth Bedroom-kitchen area somewhat small...bathroom (with both bath and shower) decent size
- Benjamin (8/5): -
- rita (10/5): perfectly quiet - everything was perfect its a lovely little studio. very short walk to the pub for our evening meal nothing
- Craig (8/5): - Had everything needed
- Laura-ann (8/5): Lovely one night stay - The property furnishings/decor were lovely, parking right outside, nice quiet area, clean, tea/coffee supplies available. Bed was too small and soft for our preference!

- Westwood (9/5): Enjoyed everything about this little gem - Quite cosy and comfortable just good value for money Nothing
- Lloyd (8/5): Very good - Nice quiet area with good secruity . Bed was really comfy and the room was very clean . Would stay here again . Nice place to eat stones throw away . Walking distance . The only trouble we had was when i went for a bath . Pulled the plug out and the water leaked from under the bath and went into the living area . Could have done with a mop bucket . Contacted owner so im sure its sorted now. Could do with somewhere to keep your clothes even a little rail .
- Nigel (8/5): Great place, really clean and comfortable - Everything was easy and as expected Didnt like stripping the bed and walking away with a bin bag as i had to dispose of my waste. Not had that before!! Otherwise everything was really good.
- Ian (10/5): Somewhere quiet and quaint, and I will definitely be visiting again - I lovely little Haven to put your feet up and relax after a long day at work Nothing I thought the property was welcoming and the host there’s nothing but a joy
- Alexander (9/5): Superb -
- Myra (10/5): Lovely accommodation - Warm, clean and comfortable. Lovely room with kitchenette. Everything I needed. Gave booked again Road to property dark but that's not their fault. Not that easy to find where you were going within the property at night
- Karen (6/5): Ok with some inconveniences - The location was good for us as we were visiting Lichfield and Tamworth. There is no sink in the kitchenette so you have to wash up in the bathroom sink. We were sent a message to wash up which we obviously always do but there was no sponge or cloth provided so we did our best - hopefully someone washed up properly before and after we were there.
There were 2 places laid out to eat at the breakfast bar but only one bar stool was provided so that wasn't ideal.
The bed is extremely soft which is not my personal preference. Also no hooks so you have to put your coats on the floor, no shelf in the bathroom or much space around the sink so your wash bag has to go on the floor too.
- Lindsey (10/5): Lovely night in a well equipped self contained apartment. - Organised, cosy, well equipped No sponge/cloth to wash up with
- Jayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalie (10/5): Nice little place to stay and very clean -
- Jennifer (10/5): Gorgeous little place! - Gorgeous little place! Best night sleep ever! Felt really secure and comfortable. Fabulous communication from the host Louise, very clear instructions and the little pot of milk for my morning coffee was so appreciated. Will definitely come back if in the area. Thank you N/A
- Jeanette (10/5): Exceeded expectations. - Lovely quiet location met on arrival. I would have liked a cloth to clean up after myself before I left the property.
- Sophie (9/5): Great stay - TV was fantastic and loved the finishing touches in bathroom
- Anthony (10/5): Lovely stay at Little Laxford, thank you. -
- Dean (8/5): Very good - Not sure if there was a problem with drainage, but noted when using the sink, drain water came up out of the bath plug together with a nasty smell. Just thought I'd mention it so you can look into it and fix it.
- Shirley (8/5): Enjoyable stop over in pretty village. - Lovely en suite room with fridge, microwave and ginormous TV with access to streaming services. Really quiet and felt very secure behind gates. For me personally I prefer a firmer mattress but appreciate this is personal taste.
- Gemma (8/5): The accommodation was everything we needed for one night. I hope my feedback is useful for people staying in the future - The property is decorated to a high standard and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and the TV was huge! There is glass to the top of the front door and as soon as the sun rises the light hits you in the face. It I had known I would have brought a face mask. Even though the bed is so comfortable it was difficult to sleep as the light in your face wakes you up. I also didn’t like being told I had to strip the bed, for the price of the property per night I would expect that this was included. When you go away for the night you want a day off from such tasks!
There also wasn’t any sugar/sweetner for hot drinks.
- Fox (10/5): We stayed here after visiting Drayton Manor, and it was the perfect place to stay after a long day :) - Very cosy and well presented! N/A
- Phoebe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (10/5): Comfort and easy. - The cosiness and cleanliness of the property and that it was tucked away nicely and private.
- Green (9/5): Superb - Booking through Booking.com I might have missed any instructions to find and enter property. Once I spoke with host it was easy.
- Kelly (9/5): Great find and will book again when in area - Lovely and clean and great location, very safe and secure. As a couple would have preferred a king size bed but that’s the only gripe.
- Kayla (10/5): Stunning and comfortable - Absolutely beautiful little place, everything you need and more. Smelt amazing soon as I walked through the door. Everything was immaculate. Would stay again 100%. The communication from the host was spot on and gave me all the information I needed. Had the best sleep I've had in a while. Very comfortable place to be. Only issue I came across and could be my own Internet provider, but I could get much signal and had to stand outside to get anything. But that's a personal preference and is no reflection on the place at all.
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gareth (8/5): Very good - Secure, clean and well finished. Easy check in and out. Bed was too soft for me.
- Amjed (10/5): Stunning room and a lovely lady - Outstanding host and a luxury room… I loved making coffee with the milk in the fridge No iron but it did not matter
- Helendb7 (10/5): Luxury accommodation - Everything I needed for a business trip and everything was lovely. Nothing
