• Poppy (1/5): Awful stay - Nothing- it was dirty, the key was broken and there were other people staying in the room we had booked. We did not expect this to be a shared property that had not been made clear. The key to one of the rooms was broken so we were unable to lock the room, the owner knew this was a problem and had not replaced the key. There were someone else’s possessions in our room, and the room had been used. The property was dirty, there was dust everywhere, the sheets were bloodstained and the shower had clearly been used by someone else as there was rubbish in it.
• Daniel (2/5): Description not clear! Shared accommodation!! - House was generally clean. Rooms were as pictured. Description was not clear that the house was a shared accommodation and it was only after we arrived that it was clear other guests would be using the other rooms. The other guests were under the same impression as us and were equally shocked. The room was generally clean, except for the bathroom where the bath matt and towels had been used, and the toilet hadn't been flushed after it had been used.

• Comet67 (6/5): Decent place to stay and rest. - I didn't eat any breakfast. I liked that you had free netflix and tv was working. Kitchen was nice and big. Free bedroom slippers was nice. House was nice and big. No noise complaints. The bin in the toilet did not look very nice. It felt like I was entering a strangers house when me and my wife first came in. No one opened the door to greet me. Communication was mostly through mobile and text. He was very nice and seemed reliable. Our room was not what I expected it to be before hand. Only satchets of shampoo and no soap. Bed was nice and comfy but I noticed the pillows had small marks but it was minor and didn't ruin my experience. Was my first time going to a hotel and it wasnt too bad, but wasnt the best experience.
• Grant (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend, book elsewhere! - The bed was comfortable but that’s all. The ad is misleading about the space. It reads as an apartment but it is a room only with bathroom and shared kitchen/lounge etc and not well cleaned. The bathroom was filthy, the plug blocked with gunk and hair and would back up with water while showering.

• Katy (8/5): Cheap stay....Great for the price - No messing about, I was given a code for a keysafe on the day of the stay.....room was clean and bright, very good value for money. Popped the key back in the key safe upon leaving. Received a phone call from the owner as a courtesy to ensure all was ok which was a nice touch. Beds were clean and warm. Can't comment on the shower as we were up and out early so saved showering till home but sink had plenty of hot water There was a kettle, coffee, sugar etc in kitchen but no milk....would have been nice to have some powdered milk or uht sachets...just would have been nice to have a coffee in the morning. No towels, luckily I brought one but nearly didn't as most guest houses supply towels

• Susan (8/5): Decent place to stay off the beaten path, with attentive owner. - It was quiet and secure. The kitchen and laundry were good to have, but bring your own laundry soap. Owner was very nice- even brought fresh pastries one morning! Property is not close to public transportation, or the potteries, so if arriving by train, be prepared for some walking or get a taxi. My bedroom door(#2) didn’t lock, and there’s no information onsite about the WiFi. I had to contact the owner, but he responded immediately. There’s no sharp knife in the kitchen so chopping vegetables was difficult.

• Jodie (8/5): Definitely worth a stay 👌 - The room was lovely, nice thick duvet an comfy bed. The layout of the whole house was beautiful. Was in a quite area an the shop was round the corner. I thought the host was super friendly, smiley and happy to help. The house was a great temperature too an very clean. Would recommend, we had a lovely stay, thankyou 💜🌟

• Duncan (5/5): Not the best - It’s a council house on an estate, the hall rug slides around so I slipped as soon as I let myself in. The curtain rail came apart when I opened the curtain. I slept reasonably, the shower was good and the bed was clean. The bathroom has marks on the sink.
