Guest Reviews
- Ruth (9/5): Stunning home, spacious rooms but noisy - Beautifully restored old home, big spacious rooms well maintained. This house was just stunning, I loved it. Road/train/traffic noise. Unfortunately this house sits directly below the main road and the main bedroom window opens out on to it. And it is busy and noisy. If you don't need to open the window or like to sit outside then you will be fine. But I was disappointed that despite being in The Blue Mountains I wasn't able to enjoy the serenity. If it is winter and you are indoors then this will be fine. But it was summer and I love to be outside.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geordie (9/5): Superb - A beautiful house and yard. Comfortably accommodated all eight guests. It wasn't easy to locate the sofa bed or the iron and no guidance was provided in the welcome book. Also, there was a dead bird in the fireplace.
- Irish (8/5): It was a nice comfortable stay. - The property is beautiful and clean. Kitchen was superb, beds where very comfy, lots of heater provided, and the scenery outside is just what we needed.12 mins walk to Leura town and the pub near by were doing karaoke and shuts at 2am which we quiet enjoyed. We hoped the TV was in the lounge area because where the TV is set up in the living room feels so out of place and felt like a kids room and not feel like a part of the house. The TV is old and doesn't have netflix or let us connect with our phones. We wish there were boardgames and more movies if it can only play DVD. We also hope to have more seats in the kitchen area, I know that the dining table and seats are at the lounge area but for smaller groups we won't be using it. The dining set looks out of place, too big and kind of taking lots of space in the lounge area.
- Anna (6/5): Im not sure if i will be rebooking this - for the experience it was very over priced. - Location was ok to the main strip of d shops , but it was just soo noisy being so close to the main road with all the cars. beds comfortable and heating warm There were ants everywhere. The main shower head water pressure was so bad you couldn’t take a proper shower. The heating i the front room wasn’t working. The range hood wasn’t working - rand the property manager to have it fix and no one called me back.
- Denise (7/5): A well maintained property but not a place for six adults to socialise. - Breakfast was not provided. No basics in the kitchen were provided such as milk or oil.
No hairdryer was available.
Central heating was excellent. The house sleeps six adults but the lounges in the tv room or the lounge room could only have 3to4 adults which made socialising difficult.
- Anthony (7/5): nice house, shame about the location next to the highway - quaint house, very clean the house was located right next to the highway and train line and was incredibly noisy with large trucks going through constantly and noisy freight trains going all through the night.
we couldn’t sleep at all.
