• Rowena (10/5): A great base to explore Northumberland - Coach Cottage was extremely spacious and comfortable, and well equipped with some lovely touches. The woodburner was also lovely and appreciated on cold evenings! Beautifully furnished and decorated and would highly recommend to others.

• Phil (10/5): Lovely clean cottage for a comfortable week. - Very comfortable and modern cottage with a private outdoor seating area. The owners were on hand if required and very helpful during our stay. An artisan bakery/restaurant just across the road and the village is within easy reach of other places of interest in Northumberland. Nothing we didn't like.

• Gillian (9/5): An excellent stay , fabulous property, brilliant - Excellent location for visiting Northumberland. Beautiful property , well maintained and high quality finish throughout. Phil our host was very helpful and offered many recommendations to visit and places to eat. Minor improvements really, but would have enhanced the stay even further. It would have been better to have had blinds on the vellux windows in the bedroom, it becomes light from 4.30. I would have preferred it to be darker which blinds would have enabled. In the kitchen a microwave , and an ice tray for the freezer would have made it perfect. We was sortable though, we just bought a bag of ice ! Otherwise it was excellent. Thank you.

• Charlie (10/5): The Coach House review - Upon arrival we were greeted by Phil, who explained we were their first guests and he showed us around their beautiful holiday home. Phil and Velda have renovated The Coach House to a very high standard, it's the perfect escape for a couple with secure parking. It offers a beautiful private courtyard, ideal for alfresco dining, with Alnwick only about 5 miles away for all your shopping needs and secluded beach on a 25 minute walk away. Overall this is an ideal couples retreat and we wish Phil and Velda all the best for their future venture. Charlie and Kim We saw this delightful coach house and although there were no reviews, we thought nothing ventured, nothing gained ! There was nothing to dislike about this property, it's fantastic....and if you're looking to stay in Longhoughton, this should be your 'go to' destination.
