- Rebecca (1/5): Worse place - Disgusting I left and asked for money back isn’t even worth a fiver a night room was dirty defo hadn’t been cleaned before we come as I said we left straight away pure filth it would of been probably cleaner sleeping in a bin Read above !
- Raymond (7/5): -
- Gemma (8/5): Fab location. - Location is great.
John was very friendly and couldnt do enough for you.
Comfotable beds and plenty of tea / coffee etc. Phone number listed on booking.com is not the right number which was frustrating when i was trying to call just prior to arrival. The correct number is on the property door.
Bit run down in places but fine for the price and a place to sleep.
- ebony (6/5): -
- Milton (8/5): - B&B WAS VERY COMFORTABLE, PETER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. LOCATION WAS PERFECT 5MINS WALK TO THE TOWER
- Anne Macaulay (10/5): John was amazing x - John was brilliant very helpful full it was clean
- Simon (10/5): -
- Callum (9/5): One of the best stays - John was exceptional with our requests and treated us with respect and said if we needed anything to always ask. Everything with the room was fine. Nothing was wrong.
- Craig (6/5): 👍 - Near the front so that's good and the man who owns it is very friendly Just abit old and needs a update here and there
- Archer (10/5): - Big family room, great location.
- em (9/5): - Nothing was to much trouble
- Lindy (6/5): The owner was very helpful but the property was old and needed work done - The beds were comfortable and the location was good The window was coming out of its fixture so could not be closed
- Liam (9/5): Great value for money.. short walk from the town centre! :) - Property was very central to the town centre.. but away from all the noise and clubs etc.. triple room was perfect for what we needed! John was very helpful.. letting us leave our pram in the bar area to save lugging it upstairs.. pointed us in the direction of free parking.. and was at the end of the phone at anytime ready to help with anything at all! :) N/A
- Iona (9/5): Lovely - Prefect location for what we needed to be close to winter gardens . Nothing
- goreham (7/5): A good base for a large family - The beds were super comfy. WiFi was good. The stairs 😂
There was a constant smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway.
The shower in the single room never got warm
- Jonesy1618 (10/5): We were welcomed and we liked the room. We will definitely be coming back here. 😀 - Upon arrival we didn't know what to expect due to the reviews but this was alot better than I expected. The owner greeted us and even helped us with our bags and showed us our room. Very pleasant and really helpful. John made sure we had fresh towels and I aloved the room, the size was lovely and adapted for my family. I cant fault this place. It is close to the town and the tower. Everything is cloae by that you need. The hotel is lovely ans we had no faults really and you do get what tou pay for. But, I've been in many places over the last year and I have to say this was hotel was one of the better ones Ive stayed at with my family. There are worse places to go, The beds were comfy and we had hot water for our showers daily. Me and my family will definitely be coming back here in the future. Thank you John for everything 😀 There was nothing we didn't like to be honest.
- andrea (3/5): Very run down - Location Rooms very run down
Poor decor
Leaking ceiling in lounge

- Carly (10/5): A lovely hotel for a weekend stay - The staff were lovely. John was very helpful and friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were happy in the accommodation. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good size for us. It was in a great location.
- Cawtherley (8/5): -
- Rachael (6/5): - 5 minute walk to the beach and Central Pier. Owner John was very welcoming, accommodating, always on site and ready to sort any issues if needed.Room was extremely clean. Wardrobe was falling apart, mattresses were lumpy and the shower was temperamental. The temperature was inconsistent. Room was smaller that expected but we were only there to sleep, not to spend days in it. So it was manageable.
- Ry Smith (10/5): - Spacious clean room with excellent shower Nothing
- Christine (9/5): Superb - John the host was lovely and excellent so helpful nothing any bother 😁 great family room It was all good
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - John was exceptional.
Very helpful and attentive.
Had a lovely stay
- Sophie (9/5): Delamare hotel - The man who greeted us, John, was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. The place was comfortable, and good quality for money, especially being so close to the sea and the attractions. Check out time was between 12-2, which is later than other hotels, so this was nice to have more time to pack belongings, instead of needing to rush. Room included a TV, and also a tray of condiments, such as coffee, milk, and tea. Bathroom facilities were quite basic, for example there was no soap. Not a major issue.
- Elaine (7/5): One of the best beds I've had in Blackpool. - The man who runs the Delamere is exceptionally nice and helpful. He showed me two rooms and asked me which I preferred. So I got a double room for the price of a single, and the bed was extremely comfortable, with very good pillows. Generous drinks supplies including hot chocolate. The wifi was excellent. The checkout time is unusually late. There was no door between the bedroom and the shower room and I was worried about the shower setting off the smoke alarm while I was in there. Thankfully it didn't, but what did happen was that I got trapped in the cubicle briefly because the door was so sticky. A constant worry for solo travellers.
- Denise (7/5): Good - John was very friendly, the room was spacious , good location. Water went cold after one shower . Lose floorboard ,Beds a little small if your tall . ,
- Kay (1/5): If we had'nt paid in full we wouldn't have stayed there - The shower leaked the toilet door was too close to toilet no door on shower for privacy the room smelt was a electric light inside shower and was falling off smelt bad of smoke Lots of things too many to mention ....John was ok with us the guy who we got off
- Rebeka (10/5): Clean, friendly and great price - Booked this hotel for my daughter and her boyfriend. Hotel room was basic but very clean and functional and the hotel owner was very welcoming and helpful. Excellent location set back just behind coral island so two minutes to the front but also quiet at night time. Excellent price. Would recommend.
- Michaelmichael (7/5): John is a great guy - You get what you pay for, John is a great guy and sometimes you see passed the little things when genuine people are at the helm, walking in the smell isnt great but as you make your way to the rooms it gets better, rooms are small, shower in room 3 isnt great but it has a bath. Bed is comfy, you can park at the hotel for £10 per day which is easier and John also offered us a free nights stay as we where travelling home late. We declined this not through anything other than we had to get back for work. John is doing his best for the place and I hope he does well! Thank you John. Smell, no breakfast,
- Christopher (1/5): Don’t look like it a bit punched and repaired the bathroom had no curtains only just the frosted glass and the bath pane - Got the impression that it was mainly for like building contractors doing building work. I’ll be there for work not ideal for couples or someone to stay. If you were there for more than a couple of days certainly would never see it again. I definitely would be reluctant to book through your company as I felt that the instructions I was given about the property was incorrect. Nil
- Josh303303 (8/5): Did everything I needed - Good value for money and provided everything I needed. Friendly staff Some mould in the cupboards and loose screws on the floor
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (1/5): Horrible stay - Nothing The room was dirty rge shower or toilet hadn't been cleaned
- Ray (1/5): Bad - Not a lot State of the room, room was very small
- Kirbie (4/5): Disappointing - Couple of staff friendly So unclean. Mould in the kettles. Dust everywhere. Rubbish laid around behind drawers ect. Coffee stains all over( It looked like coffee)
One of the rooms the window was falling in. Wallpaper was ripping everywhere because of the damp. Water running down the walls
When we turned up they had giving some one else one of our rooms.
- Scott (10/5): Perfect location, minutes away from the tower and beach -
- Debby (8/5): The proprietor was excellent, nothing was too much trouble -
- Jeff (4/5): Disappointing - the guy whp was in charge was very friendly
it was in a good place it was not really good at all
shower or bath in the room worked no hot water at all
bath frame was broken
- Craig (10/5): Great host! Great location! Would stay again - John is a great host - friendly and goes above and beyond! Hotel is in a fabulous location for central pier the tower and coral island.

This by far is one of the most best accommodation I have stayed at. Mr john was extremely kind and welcoming . The service and the stay was excellent. What makes even more better was that this is located just 5 minutes away from the bus station and right in middle of the city. Would definitely recommend this place. A big shout out to Mr john for making feel very comfortable and at home.
- Angela (8/5): Nice - Hotel staff are very friendly everything’s on your doorstep me and my partner have stayed twice now it’s a quiet hotel with less than 5 mins walk to the beach a shop less than a minute away then all the cafes et. Very close by

- Sophie (10/5): Amazing and great plus the stay was fabulous and would stay in this hotel again. - The host was great which was John and he was helpful to us and also let us stay an extra night and put all the rooms together and let us chill with him at nighttime’s and daytimes and he was there when we needed supplies. Nothing to dislike.
- Sarah (9/5): Extra night in Blackpool -
- Armstrong (10/5): Exceptional - the owner was very kind and welcoming. he was more than happy to help with anything we needed. he also let us know that he didnt mind what time we came back to the hotel at night as ling as we were quiet which was nice as most other hotels in blackpool lock the doors at 11 leaving you stranded. i had a great experience although there was some arguments outside late at night which is a given when staying in a hotel so close the center. these didnt really disturb us during our stay. other than that the stay was perfect
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - You Get what you pay for, This hotel is Good And Suited what our requirements were during our trip , John the host is Excellent and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was Good.. Will Stay again in the near future .
- Emma (8/5): Lovely Host. John made the hotel. - John was amazing, Made the hotel a home from home. Had a view of the tower from our hotel window which the kids loved at night when it was lit up. No parking spaces left, but not a major issue as there was a car park up the road. Also no breakfast, but again there were plenty of places to get some :)
- Paul (1/5): Bad -
- Mark (8/5): Cheap comfortable place to stay - The host was very friendly and the B&B was In a good central location
- Kacie (10/5): Loveliest host! - John is genuinely the nicest hotel owner I've ever met. He is so accomodating and helpful. The bed was so comfy too. We didn't realise until we arrived that there are only 2 car parking spaces out the front but the Hornby road car park was only a few minutes walk away so it was resolved very easily :)
- Paul (9/5): The owner is doing his best to refurbish the place, what he’s lacking in decor he more than makes up with his friendly m - Handy location
- Martin (8/5): Good value for money & Pete was a nice bloke -
- Martin (9/5): Superb - Perfect situation, comfortable beds, very kind and helpful host, beautiful old building refurbed with love, nice cozy bar. Can be a bit noisy at times due to bad soundproofing of the old building - a minor flaw!
- Carmel (8/5): Very good - Convenient and comfortable
- Woods (8/5): Very good - Clean and all the facilities were great
- Doc57 (10/5): Great, friendly, central place to stay. - So welcoming & friendly from the moment we arrived.
We got there earlier than we expected, so when we arrived our room was ready for us & we were able to drop our stuff off & John graciously offered to help with bags and suggested somewhere i could go with kids at night nearby. We where offered to keep baggage at the hotel until we were going for our train home late afternoon, to allow us a little bit of extra time exploring Blackpool without lugging bags about.
Great sized room for families with older kids. A bed each and room to move about.
Will definitely be back. 😁 It was a great place to stay, no complaints.
The only down side was, we only stayed for 2 nights.
- Keith (7/5): A very helpful, friendly, and attentive landlord, you can’t change the building, but a really hice guy - The location was great for our needs. The room was very basic, tight shower, the toilet even smaller, you have to be very, shall we say, very close se to you partner when using these facilities.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Staff very friendly nothing to much trouble very good value for money
- Collins (7/5): Good -
- Hollie (7/5): Friendly guy, helpful and enjoyable stay overnight, cheap and cheerful too. -
- Saville (7/5): Good -
- Jon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (8/5): John great host , great location - Great location, bed exceptional comfy Nothing
- Mojo0174 (6/5): OK stay - John was very helpful and let us pick our room when we checked in. We could check in from 10am which was a bonus. There was parking outside the hotel but we didn't use it. Very close to town centre which was handy. A lot of noise outside which couldn't be helped. Bar wasn't open properly and not much variety of drinks.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Location of guest house The wifi kept going off
- Alan (7/5): Good -
- Dan.charlie (9/5): Superb - John the host was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The location was brilliant for me and my 8 year old son as its near the center of everything. Lovely cosy room and comfy bed. Kettle and tea and coffee in the room and a telly cant really complain Was a bargain for the price and would stay again. Nothing not to like
- Halyna (9/5): Superb - We liked staying in this hotel. We felt that we are wellcomed.Rooms was clean and bed linen as well. Host was kind and helping us with any question. Recommended))
- Joel (10/5): A great value hotel with a wonderful host. Would 100% recommend to others! - Wonderful host and excellent value for money. Great location near the beach front and also close to the city centre. I’d certainly stay again when in Blackpool. I had no issues with this property.
- David (9/5): Superb - Verry comfortable bed
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vladimir (10/5): Excellent location, perfect budget friendly place. - John the host was very welcoming, kind and helpful. Room was perfectly acceptable and en suite. Exellent location, only few minutes walk to bars, clubs, restaurants, shops and the beach. Nothing
- Karen (5/5): Poor hotel - Location was ok We was in the attic, beds wasn't comfy, small twin divan beds for 2 adults toilet didn't have a door on well it did but didn't shut they used a shower curtain that was only held on with 2 rings, carpet was stained and very dirty, old storage heater in room said we could put it on has it was a bit chilly didn't come on till middle of night had to get up and open window woke up at 5 seagulls all over roof
- Nigel (9/5): Superb -
- Katy (9/5): Perfect for a family get away 😊 - The host John was very friendly & nothing was too much bother. He was very helpful & made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and perfect for what we needed for 1 night stay
- Adam (2/5): Disappointing it wasnt mentioned about no toilet - Location is ok and the staff seemed friendly No toilet in the room, couldnt find one anywhere
- Anne (2/5): Wouldnt return - Nothing It was a mess the bathroom was terrible
- Bartusiak (9/5): Great time in Blackpool - Very friendly staff. Great location. …
- Victoria (5/5): Passable - John was lovely and welcoming, the hotel is clean all be it dated. Location is perfect for the beach, coral island, tower, shopping, bars ect. We booked a family room but on arrival were told it wasn't available. It would have been helpful if we were prewarned of this, offered some money back ect for the inconvenience. We were offered a single room instead but that wasn't an option for us so we had to manage with 3 teenage girls squished in 1 double bed and two of us in another room in 2 single beds. It was fine in the end though, just a bit of communication upfront would have been appreciated.
- Bev (5/5): Passable - Location and price Slight odour smell in room, bed not very comfortable, floorboards creaking from above.
