- Dana (1/5): - Nothing Room was very dirty. Carpet was full of stains. There was snot on the walls. Unfortunately there were no other rooms available in the area otherwise we would have left.
- Tom (8/5): - Food was excellent, the chef, top shelf.
- Julie (8/5): -
- Kiara Mills (4/5): -
- Jones (3/5): - Very dated ammenities
- Annette (10/5): Country charm and lovely hosts. - Delightful old country hotel.
Very cheap so don’t expect 5 star.
The staff are welcoming and helpful.
And the chef!! Food was delicious!
Thank you Pingelly Hotel. We’ve already booked in for our next visit to Pingelly. We had 3 people and only 2 coffee cups in our room 😂
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful old building and staff and owner were great. Food was delicious and everything else was well priced
- Shayne (2/5): Do not stay here - I booked and paid online and messaged the hotel that I would be arriving at 10.30 pm after flying into Perth and then driving some of the way back home to the country. After landing in Perth I called the hotel several times but with no response. We then lost phone reception in the Hills, and when we arrive in Pingelly mo messages or emails with lock box codes. The pub is closed and locked and no way of gaining entry. Fortunately, an offduty barmaid was chatting on the balcony above the entry and let us in. Still no response from the hotel to this day. Disgraceful! Do not stay here!
- Stirling (6/5): Short stay to catch up with friends. - Location was right near a park for the kids to play. Limited parking available.
- Blackburn (8/5): A worthwhile experience - A good experience No ensuite facilities
- Lynette (7/5): Good -
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Great room great service great attitude Showers needed hooks to hang towels clothes etc
- Inga (5/5): Don’t know how to summarise it - The manager did well in dealing with the issues that presented he had just come back from leave and his cover did not do a good job. The food was awesome and very filling. Good selection of the bar. These two staff would rate 8/10 Very run down. Our room was not cleaned, we had to split to separate rooms provided subsequently , the adult bed was very uncomfortable. We get it’s an old establishment, has its charm. But the stairs carpet is a tripping hazard. There are many floorboards to be repaired. The bathrooms extremely rundown. A lot of cobwebs everywhere. It has potential just not sure how one spends money on it.
- John (1/5): We were not able to sleep in that hotel. - The staff was friendly The hotel is not what we expected, the facilities were unclean and the property was very dangerous, there is a bar and the hotel is inside. We were not able to sleep on that hotel, as the room was unclean and with a strong smell, the washroom is shared and the floor was dirty with spots unclean and not even door for the shared showers. After we arrived we realised of all of these as the hotel doesn’t have pictures in booking or google. My partner felt insecure all the time, we left right after received the room. As a hotel platform you should be more careful about the facilities as on the website.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Nice old Aussie country pub/hotel , nothing for hipster's, just cool n authentic
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dylan (7/5): Good -
- John (8/5): Convenient, cost effective and friendly, but book direct, not through booking.com - Enthusiastic friendly staff. Accommodating us even though the booking through booking.com had gone astray. Good evening meal, facilities for self catered breakfast. Booking through booking.com was for a triple room, which the hotel does not have. Booking.com sent alert that my card was declined and my booking would be cancelled, even though the booking was explicitly stated as pay on arrival (which I did) and had stayed there the previous night. Rang hotel who confirmed that there was no problem with payment.
- Darren (7/5): Good -
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (6/5): Pleasant - Location No water in room. Water container in hallway - empty.
- Michelle (10/5): Great old town hotel, amazing staff decently priced menu with great food. Will stay again soon - Amazing staff, brilliant chef - best pizzas ever! Right in the heart of town. Loved it here and will be returning
- Sachelle (10/5): Old but clean and friendly - Was very spacious room, staff super friendly. Great location near cafe and shops. Fantastic beer garden. Noisy floorboards but old place so expected.
- Adriano (7/5): Good -
- Paulpl (3/5): Poor -
- Ashfaq (1/5): Bad - Staff is good Overall hotel wasnt good. Toilets were smelling, and the hotel has only shared bathrooms. Very very old building and very uncomfortable to stay in such a cosy room and the corridor looks like a hunted place. Unsafe and dangerous step to walk up& down . Totaly a very poor place. Even milk kept in fridge expired in April2024. Very poor experience and dissatisfied by selecting such an hotel to stay.
- Tukta (8/5): Very good - Bed was exceptional. Chef was great. Guests had difficulty finding the dining room.
- Donna (8/5): Excellent value for money. Nice clean room that was lovely and quiet. - Clean, central location, friendly staff, beautiful old hotel. Steps to upstairs very steep being an old hotel. Floors very noisy but once again old hotel. Neither were a problem but if you had problems ambulating the stairs would be too difficult.
