Guest Reviews
- Janet (10/5): - It was warm, comfortable and very well-equiped. Bright and like home from home.
- Cath (9/5): -
- Fiona (9/5): Enjoyable. Well worth a visit & would recommend the cottage. - Great location. Quiet area. Beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. Very clean and tidy. Everything we needed. Lovely outdoor space - also tastefully renovated. Parking easy. Near facilities & an easy walk into town. The front door lock a bit of a nightmare - very tricky to open & we were constantly worried about the key breaking in the lock - it did seem to have a slight bend in it.
Oh dear - the super king bed ….. the most uncomfortable mattress we’ve encountered in a cottage/hotel.
I know we’re unused to warm weather in the UK but a lighter duvet with the option of an extra blanket would have been better. No fan was provided.
- Carol (7/5): - Lovely property Front door was difficult to open
- Joan (10/5): Exceptional - We had bed and stay only N/A
- Beth (8/5): Very good - The house was lovely, and only on one occasion did we have to park in the next road. Really spacious all round, beds comfortable. The garden was sunny in the afternoon which was great. Location was ideal as we could walk into Lytham (would recommend a couple of restaurants - Chu’s and Farina but you do have to book).
- V8mark (5/5): Nice but for the money you could almost stay at Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds - I liked the location and the house itself was nicely modernised it reminded me of my childhood growing up in a back to back Terrace,
The neighbours on the street were nice, of course because its Lancashire the street itself was nice and clean with no yellow lines or restrictions and the location was excellent with just a nice stroll in to town or to the sea front. I am sorry to say this but the cleanliness left a little to be desired and the mattresses felt like 1962 so in fairness i would not describe it as luxury, i would say a very nice Terrace House.
- Michelle (10/5): We had a fantastic amazing relaxing stay - Great location comfy spacious everything you need hosts were lovely everything on the doorstep shops restaurants pubs sea front. You’d be silly not to stay here and I am fussy There was nothing really if I were to be picky I’d say in colder months just have the home slightly warm but nothing dramatic once I turned it up and the house got warm it was okay. (I suffer with cold)
- Jo (10/5): Great location and property, exceeded expectations. - Everything was as described but even better than expected. Great location and very cozy, comfortable accommodation.
- Bibiana (10/5): Perfect !! - Beautiful home, comfortable with everything you could need. The location was great, walkable to the shops.
- Jill (7/5): Disappointed - Very high spec but unfortunately
Building work started at 8am every morning Noise from next door felt this should have been mentioned
- Niven (5/5): Only fair accommodation, wouldn't go again. - Heating was good, could have possibly been serviced better !! welcome pack would have been appreciated, T.V initially didn't work, only one tea towel, no oven gloves, dirty towels left behind bedroom door, storage of replacement bedding/towels etc stored in outside shed! only one set of keys. possibly cleaner could improve overall.
- Russell (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoe (10/5): Best house we have stayed in. So comfortable. Everything had been thought of. Beautiful house! -
- Donna (6/5): Could do with a few tweaks - Good location for dog walks. Quiet neighbourhood. Comfortable living room. Huge bathroom. Good outdoor space, sunny evenings. Kitchen facilities. Shutters not black out, so woke by early morning sun. Bedrooms hot. Beds and pillows hard. Need better Cork screw! Laundry man let himself into the garden and let dog loose. No downstairs loo. Dining chairs are uncomfortable. Dog barking next door when left early morning.
- Louise (10/5): Ideal location for Lytham’s shops, restaurants & festival of course. Stunning immaculately presented cottage. - Beautifully presented
Immaculate
Large bathroom with a ‘proper’ big roomy bath
Pretty garden
- Helen (9/5): A very enjoyable holiday in a very comfortable holiday home. - Hollie Cottage was in a quiet street reasonably close to the centre of Lytham with an easy walk to the promenade. Parking could be quite difficult although we always managed to get a space down the lane.
The lock on the front door was a challenge so we tended to use the back door. It was a slightly longer walk to the town centre than stated but it was flat and manageable.
- Elaine (10/5): Beautiful cottage in Lytham - Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a lovely stay in Lytham. Nothing- it was lovely.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tim (9/5): Perfect base for our Lytham Festival experience - The property is centrally located and with easy access to Lytham town centre and the beach. On-street parking always available. Hollie Cottage was very well presented and was well-equipped. Nice, big bathroom with walk-in shower. SuperKing bed was very comfortable. Didn't watch much TV but good choice of channels and clear picture. Outside there's plenty of room for dining and sun-bathing.
- Joanna (10/5): We all had a relaxing and wonderful stay - Everything Nothing
