• Jakub (10/5): - The accommodation was cozy and well-equipped with a broad selection of teas and coffees, sugar, so you did not have to go and buy some straight away. Fiona was a great help when I had a query.

• Carolyn (9/5): Views like a painting - We were in the area for a wedding & the location was great. The most beautiful views from the cottage which was well appointed, clean & comfortable. We were there over an exceptional heatwave so with a metal roof the house was very hot. We had to buy another fan. However I doubt anyone else will experience such extreme weather!

• Peter (10/5): Excellent. Great value for money. - Quiet location- clean, modern property, log burner. Nothing to dislike, it met all our expectations. We didn’t use the jacuzzi enough to justify an extra £50. Also ran out of kindling for fire so had to buy extra.

• William (9/5): A spacious, well equipped holiday home. - Very spacious lounge diner. 2 bathrooms. Big kitchen. Excellent log burner which came with good instructions. Lovely rural location with a beautiful view. Well equipped. Could do with some instructions on efficient use of the electric heaters in lounge diner.
• Angela (10/5): A fabulous place to stay - It is a really beautiful property very attractively furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped and the cottage generously provided for with essentials - eg toilet rolls, cooking items etc. There is a great enclosed area outside which was excellent for our dogs. The house is also practically laid out for dog owners- sensible flooring, lots of room to put up a crate, and for the dogs to move around inside without breaking anything. There is a stair gate to prevent dogs from sneaking upstairs- so really well thought out. The cottage was immaculately clean, with no trace of dogs, despite being a dog friendly property. There are very comfortable sofas and beds and a great shower. The view from the cottage is fab -both from inside the sitting room and from an outside seating area. There was a really nice very quiet road beyond the cottage where we could take the dogs for comfort walks morning and evenings which was really handy. Nothing - it was all great

The property is absolutely beautiful and the most relaxing spot with easy commute to Aberdeen by car. The perfect weekend that we needed!

• Vincent (10/5): Amazing stay, amazing hosts, beautiful lodge and surroundings. - Birchwood view is situated in the countryside and is absolutely stunning, immaculately presented with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The boat inn, Aboyne centre is a must visit pub the food is amazing. If you want a countryside get away then this is the place for you. Absolutely nothing to not like.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Thank you for a lovely stay. - Great property in wonderful countryside. The facilities were excellent and the host was amenable to my suggestions. The hot tub was an added bonus for me and the addition of a booster seat (which I suggested to Peter) will make it very comfortable for future visitors of my height. The provision of milk and butter and jam was very welcome as I forgot to take butter with me. Thank you. The double bed was too soft for me but I like a very firm mattress for spinal health and comfort. The single beds are firm so I used one of them. The duvets are 13tog which is too warm for me but I just used the cover with a blanket over the top so that worked for me.

• Minette (10/5): A masterpiece. - This cottage is a masterpiece in design and comfort. The inside and outside spaces offer luxurious options to accommodate your every need, whatever the weather. The beautiful surroundings offer a variety of activities for all ages. Highly recommended.

It is so comfortable and spacious, the photos don’t do it justice and the two shower rooms and the hot tub ( even though we didn’t use it) are a definite bonus. Nothing, it was just beautiful, in a beautiful location
