Guest Reviews
- Sally (8/5): Delightful Cottage right by the sea - I loved our Hebridean Hut; yes it is small, very small, but what a stunning location! Met Ian on our way in and he was very friendly and helpful. Our hut was great - had everything we needed, the weather was perfect so we could sit outside in the evening and enjoy the beautiful outlook. The linen was luxurious. A lovely welcome basket! We didn't see the eagle, but we saw a grey seal in the bay right in front of cabin. And I paddled in the beach - Atlantic Ocean, a first for me! It is small, but really good!
- Linda (10/5): Fantastic stay - Fantastic views, quiet, comfortabele.
- Thomas (9/5): - Unglaubliche Lage und Aussicht direkt aufs Meer, gemütlich eingerichtet. Sehr nette Gastgeber.
Schönes Badezimmer Für eine Person genug Platz, für zwei schon etwas eng. Bett sehr schmal
- Laura (9/5): tornerei domani! - Un nido grazioso ma anche attrezzatissimo disperso tra i prati e il mare
- Paul (9/5): The best place we stayed in our week away. It’s remote, peaceful and has all you need. - Fantastic location, well looked after and surprisingly roomy ‘hut’ with everything we needed and more than I expected. As a place to get away from it all its an excellent choice, and I would love to go again if the chance arises. Enjoyed every thing about our stay. I couldn’t fault it.
- PATRIZIA (9/5): Ottimo - Posizione incantevole, casetta pulita e accogliente Nulla
- Carine (10/5): -
- Alan (10/5): 10/10 trip to the Hebrides - Location was perfect, we were able to explore the whole island. Little touches upon arrival made the stay so personal and cosy. Hosts were great, property had everything we needed. That we couldn't stay longer !

- tina (10/5): - We loved our stay here, clean, comfortable, great hosts and that view..it was perfect.
- Lisa (10/5): Just what I needed! - The location and comfort. Not having a hob.
- Götz (10/5): Stunning wildlife hut - Stunning place so close to the ocean ,just great!! The hut is so comfortable, Iain is a great host, we had prosecco in the fridge, chips and bakery, thank you so much! We could see so much wildlife, even the seaeagles came by from time to time, awesome Nothing to talk about
- Angela (10/5): -
- Martin (10/5): - Pure heaven. Idyllic.
If you're visiting Lewis, then stay here if its available. Nothing
- Kathleen (9/5): Superb -
- Kelly (8/5): Lovely stay, and would recommend! - Lovely location by the water! Host left Prosecco and snacks! Hard to find a spot for luggage. Bed was uncomfortable.
- Louise (10/5): AmAzing - Amazing views. Fabulous setting and surroundings. Lovely and warm inside. Extra special touch with edible goodies and a bottle of bubbles...thank you. We had a great time sightseeing and relaxing. Excellent linen and toiletries too. It's not that we didn't like the beds. Just with plush towels linen and fab toiletries, we thought the mattresses could've been a little more comfortable. We still had a fab time and would highly recommend this place to stay 100%
- Sarah (10/5): Amazing stay - This place is amazing. Iaian and Anne are very helpful and friendly. The place itself is beautiful: you have an amazing view from the lodge, which is very clean and functional. It is a super calm atmosphere, with just the sound of the waves and birds. There were loads of personal attention in the lodge too, and everything was local (local soaps, threats, and possibly local ceramic dishes which were very pretty). I had the most wonderful stay :)
- I-ting (10/5): Cosy accommodation would recommend to others! - Lovely hut with everything needed! The shower wasn’t hot enough but otherwise excellent
- Caroline (9/5): Beautiful huts in a stunning location with great hosts. We would definitely recommend you stay here. - These beautiful, comfortable huts are in a wonderfully peaceful spot with stunning views and great touches of luxury. The bed linen and locally crafted pottery is a great bonus. The owners are very helpful and happy to answer all questions.
The BBQ hut was a wonderful experience and a great location for celebrating the end of our Hebridean cycle. I was surprised there was no hob but the microwave oven is very easy to use and all the equipment needed to cook in it is provided so it was not a problem.
- Steven (10/5): ‘Hebridean Huts’ was one of very best overnight stops-a wonderful place. - ‘Hebridean Huts’ is a wonderful place to stay. The location is fantastic, just a few yards from the sea, with very little roundabout. The hut itself is cosy and comfortable with just about everything you need and attention has been given to detail, which is of a high standard. We were even treated to shortbread, cake, crisps and sparkling wine! The owner was very welcoming and helpful. I cannot fault ‘Hebridean Huts’ and if only it were closer to home, would visit it frequently.
