Guest Reviews

- Tina (7/5): - A spacious house in a good area. The house was clean, and in fairly good order The property lacked any homely touches, no lamp shades, just bare light bulbs, no soft furnishings or cushions, and no welcome pack of tea bags, no coffee, and no milk. Actually, there was one tea bag??
The carpet on the stairs was loose, our three year old tripped down them.

- Christian (9/5): - The size of the rooms and the garden were great, the ensuite was a massive bonus as was the downstairs toilet. Kitchen and dining were also great Sparsely furnished, no bedside lights
- maggie (8/5): Will definitely stay there again. - House was lovely and in a really nice location. Parking was really easy.
The beds were really comfy and all the bed linen was really clean. The garden was fully enclosed. Perfect for my dog. Could have done with a few full length mirrors in the bedrooms and maybe some bedside lamps. The ceiling lights were very bright and some did not have lampshades which would have helped. Also my daughter and I couldn't find a hairdryer which is unusual.
- Sonia (6/5): I’m afraid I won’t be booking this accommodation again, such a shame as the location was perfect. - The size was adequate. The garden was poorly maintained.
Dirty, pillows smelt, there were no pillow or mattress protectors and the mattress was uncomfortable.
- Guest (9/5): We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this property again in the future. - It was spacious, clean and in a good location for amenities. It was reasonably priced and great for a big family. N/A
- Richard (9/5): Great place to stay - Fantastic house All good
- Victoria (7/5): Great location, a little attention to detail would make it better - Good location, easy check-in and lovely kitchen
Rooms were comfortable and place was very clean. Didn’t like the fact there was a ring doorbell, found it quite invasive of privacy. There could do with being a lamp in the living room as throughout the house only bright main lights with no lampshades. Blinds broken and minimal furniture throughout - wouldn’t stop us from staying again though
- Tracey (8/5): Very good - Beautiful house.
Very spacious. Great location with lots of shops nearby. A nice quiet spot. Clean and modern.
Gorgeous kitchen. Not much that I didn't like apart from it lacked mirrors and lamps in bedrooms!
- Natalie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Wilson (8/5): Nice comfortable stay :) - Location was convenient for our needs. The property is warm and comfortable, the easily accessible enclosed garden is nice. The property is a little sparse in furnishings than similar places we have stayed at in the past, however this doesn't detract from the positives.
- Sarah (9/5): Big, modern, comfortable space in a great location. - It was a perfect location for the visits that we wanted to do (Tamworth Castle and the National Arboretum). Big, modern, comfortable space for seven friends, much better equipped than some of the previous reviews have mentioned. Enough chairs for everyone, plentiful crockery and glassware. Easy to find, easy to access and a really great pub within a 5 minute walk (Blacksmith's Arms) along with a number of takeaways and a Co-op around the corner. Easy to contact the host before, during and after our stay. There was very little not to like; the only thing missing was a tin opener!
- Holly (7/5): This property met all our needs for the weekend, however the bathroom did let it down. - Spacious. Clean and comfortable beds. Good parking. Great location with a park round the corner. Large dining table with enough seats for everyone. Easy access. Excellent communication prior to the stay. Extremely bright light in the living room with no lampshade. This meant it wasn’t a very comfortable room to be sitting in of an evening. The main bathroom the drains are obviously blocked meaning water doesn’t drain away in the shower and a bad smell lingers. Kitchen floor could have been cleaned better as there were a few cheerios left in the floor.
- Martin (8/5): Great location - very clean - well presented - Great location, comfortable parking for 2 cars within walking distance to a local shop, Chinese take away and pub. The house was very clean and well presented. We were a family of 6 adults and a toddler, all slept comfortably Most of art work has been installed wonky, needs more mirrors
- Sara (7/5): Great house and location, value for money - Easy self check-in
Great location
Massive house, lovely big rooms
Clean in areas, very clean bed linen
With garage, downstairs toilet etc
Big garden Not enough towels or kitchen table seats for 7
Basic in some places - no light shades on some lights
Some more cleaning/ maintenance needed in areas (i.e. skirting boards, cobweb in downstairs toilet, toilet seat upstairs broken)
- Deborah (9/5): Nice place to stay near Burton. Good communication with the owner. There were only 4 of us but if a larger group stay th - Location to our destination. Off road parking.
- Iz (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (6/5): Good house. Needs some furniture and crockery. - Good house. Good parking. Plenty of room. Nice and clean. Good bathrooms. Good beds. Not much furniture or equipment. Only 4 dining chairs. Only 4 mugs. Not enough plates, glasses etc. for 5 people - and the house is up to 7! Most bedrooms don't have wardrobes - just a bed really.
- Iorga (9/5): Superb -
- Tamsin (8/5): Comfortable, exceptionally clean, good value. Would def stay again, - Very very clean, quiet area, easy to book and access. Parking on site. Need to make sure have enough bowls and dining chairs for number of guests.
- Julian (10/5): Definitely would book again highly recommend - Location was perfect Nothing
- Kyle (10/5): Exceptional -
