- Finnian (9/5): Simple and effective. - How simple and clean it was. It was just what we needed, a bed, kitchen facilities and bathrooms. It’s also located right next to a bus stop which makes getting into town and other places easy. N/A

- Liam (7/5): - My wife and son stayed here for an appointment for my son, my wife was very impressed with this establishment and said she would definitely stay here again.
- mark (7/5): -
- Joshua (5/5): Wouldn’t stay again thank you - Wifi was solid Thin walls not much privacy not close to anything shared facilities in close quarters and that many people not ideal
- Indie (5/5): - location was good, close to main road for easy access but not too close to hear it. Easy to find location and easy access to town. I only found out the aircon wasn't working when I arrived. they had not mentioned permanent tenant's living there too smoking inside and setting off smoke alarms in the middle of the night. Tenants made sure to tell me about strict rules from first interaction and then continued not to follow the rules themselves.
- Beth (5/5): - Staff very helpful, photo of the bedroom is accurate. Small, noisy with thin walls, can hear other guests, uncomfortable bed.
- Wayne (8/5): - Everything was very reasonable No air-conditioning
- Law (10/5): -
- Neeraj (8/5): Room was very small but neat and clean. - Peaceful and calm place Room size was too small. Its more of a 8*8 store room with just a bed and aircon
- Emma (8/5): -
- Dan (10/5): - It had aircon condition in the house Comfortable place to stay 10/10
For the price.

- Erin (10/5): Convenient, cheap, and clean. - Spotless, great value, and lovely host. Also very convenient location next to the bus stop with a frequent bus to the main bus station in Maroochydore
- Ambre (8/5): Très bien - Très propre ! Literie confortable ☺️
Hôtes disponible et très courtois Pas d’insonorisation entre les chambres
- Chris (7/5): -
- Vidit (1/5): Very disappointed but more disappointed how the listing property for accommodation on their site without doing basic che - Very small room with nothing in it
Just a bed Nothing
- chris (4/5): -
- Yarela (9/5): -
- Anneke (5/5): Cheap but not cheerful - It was cheap and had aircon. Walls were paper thin, and you could other residents conversations through the walls. The doors squeaked. Rooms were described as 'cozy', but were just tiny. Bed had no top sheet, just a duvet with a stained cover. Bottom sheet had mould on it. Room smelled musty. This was a room in a share house with other residents, and the communal bathroom wasn't very clean.

- Vivienne (7/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Olga (6/5): Ok for the purpose.Staff were absent - Handy to airport etc. Bed ok. WiFi. Adequate parking on street. Ok if you just need a bed for a night or two. Bare minimum. Limited space. Just a room with facilities back of bedroom. Kitchen, toilet. Shelving for food. No where to wash hands?
- Wayne (9/5): -
- Spencer (1/5): -
- Jory (10/5): - Wonderful facilities, very easy to check in and check out, great location and very easygoing and profrddional hosts
- Lovedeep (10/5): -
- Rolf (9/5): -
- Alexander (10/5): - Very neat and tidy place. All amenities were met. All good.
- Karen (8/5): Dont judge a book by its cover. - There was every thing i needed, clean close to sports complex, as i was watch my grandaughter at state age netball. Parking was a bit tricky, unloading bags.
Key lock box missed a step on instructions as far as the little black switch. I asked for help with that.
Floor was a bit tricky to navigate, little steps etc.
- Cecilia (7/5): Great for a night - Location Wall are too thin
- Michaela (6/5): Decent for the cost. - Met the description. Nice solo accomodation on a budget. Other residents were friendly and quiet. Internal door lock felt as though it was a bit flimsy and might break. But, considering the location and attitude of the other residents, I was comfortable with that after the first night.
- Owyn (7/5): Good -
- Niamh (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (6/5): Very sparse but you get what you pay for. Was clean. - The price There was no breakfast no tv nothing but a bed in my room
- Jennifer (7/5): Nice stay, thank you - Easy to check in, good value for money, everything you need, friendly people. I didn't have a car, so it was a little far walking to the nearest shopping area. However, there are buses running nearby.
- Ryan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Åhrberg (6/5): Simple stay works good for a couple of nights - The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean with its own entrencé.
There was two sliding doors to the room from outside, one in glass and one in metal with small holes in it ( like a mosquito net). This was perfect to use as a ventilation to always have fresh air! Both of them where lockable 👍🏼
Self check in!
Short bus ride or 30/40min walk in to town/beach. First of all there was a cat which they didn’t mention in the description (I’m allergic).
The common areas wasn’t as clean as the room unfortunately and the cooking ware had already seen it’s best days…
The dishes wasn’t always clean so we needed to dish them again.
There wasn’t a dining table at least we didn’t find any.
The walls was also kinda thin so we could hear people coughing and snoring which interrupted our sleep.
To summon it up, this is a simple place that absolutely works for a few nights even tho we was a little bit disappointed. It felt much more organized and promising reading the description than in reality.
- Zeitha (8/5): I'll be back -
- Jamie (1/5): No bueno - No lighting in hallway at night, whacked my head on the exposed brick wall that juts out into the middle of the corridor and ended up with 7 stitches in my eyebrow.
- Jay (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ji (4/5): Literally!! Closed my eyes, lying in the bed, couldn’t sleep, because of noise from surrounding room. Escaping ASAP next - First time visit here! All facilities was good Sound proof desperately need each rooms
I couldn’t sleep because of guest next door And other rooms snoring etc.
i was terrible experiences while I stayed here! Especially I needed a good quality of sleep.
i was heading to Cairns by driving..
- Jo (8/5): Place was perfect for my needs. Host very accommodating. Will stay again -
- Zoe (3/5): Hum... - Donna, the property manager, is a delight and kept the place spotless! Give that woman a raise! This house conversion to accommodation has been done on the very cheap. Bed super uncomfortable. Pillows lack substance. Walls paper thin. You can hear your neighbour fart in the night! I also broke out in a rash! Stayed elsewhere on the 2nd night. Plus no coffee!!
- Jane (6/5): Apart from loud tenants, it was good - Clean Tannants were noisy
- Cynthia (5/5): Noisy but clean! - The place was clean and I booked very late but I received the information to enter the place right on time before getting there. It was very noisy, people were doing laundry at midnight!!! people were talking in the room next to us at 1am! and you could hear everything! and a guy shirtless in the kitchen!, we also asked for a late check out as we arrived late but our request was denied.
- Kaisa (10/5): Very nice and good - Very clean and tidy, cute appartement with two bathrooms and one big kitchen. We felt very comfortable and the hosts and other guests were really kind as well. We would definetely recommend this homestay!
- Gault (8/5): Very good value for money, sharing kitchen and bathrooms did not present a problem. -
- Agustin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Winter (8/5): Very good -
- Katrín (8/5): Very good - Good value for money. Close to the bus stop Don't know when the beam above the bed was last cleaned, not any time recently at least since it was covered in dust with some weels laying on top
- Judit (8/5): A Warm and Welcoming Stay with Donna - We stayed here for a few days upon arriving in Sunshine Coast. It was a comfortable and warm welcome. The cleaner, Donna, is one of the most charming people we have met in a service like this. She was always attentive and very welcoming. Additionally, the cleanliness was of a very high standard. We sincerely appreciate the care and hospitality. -
- Holly (8/5): Lovely - Didn’t stay for brekkie Nothing
- Justin (6/5): Pleasant - Room was very clean. Noise at times with residence staying there

- Mark (5/5): Passable -
- Ashton (9/5): Superb - Good area It was all good
- Ebonie (9/5): Superb -
- Tracie (9/5): Superb - Our Room was comfortable, perfect for a weekend stay 👌 I should of bought Milk for my morning Coffee... but having to share fridge with others.
- Satiche (8/5): Public Transport Links - Bus stop right outside the property, good links into main maroochydore station. Thin walls but didn't bother us in the slightest, can't hear anything at all with ear plugs or if hard of hearing
- K. (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luca (10/5): Awesome stay - would totally come back - We were torn between a hostel and Sunshine Rooms and are so glad we went with Sunshine! It's a nice family-run guest house, the rooms were super clean, comfy, and quiet (perfect for a good night’s sleep). The AC was a lifesaver after long days out, and we met some really cool, friendly people staying there too. Plus, heaps of parking, which made things so easy. Honestly, such a good vibe and we had an amazing time! No private bathroom in the room, just two shared ones, but for the price we paid, it was still a great value - would definitely come back next time we're in Sunshine Coast!
- Rizwan (6/5): Comparing with rates of commercial properties for same time it was good value for money. - Location was good on a 5 minutes dive to city centre/shopping mall.
House had kitchen, laundry and two bathrooms and plenty of space on street to park. Cleaning was good. There was no AC and it was hot, I should have checked that in advance.
Also there was no cupboard in room and again I should have checked that.
- Simon (1/5): Bad -
- Lenny (9/5): It was great inexpensive/ clean and good people. - I like the serenity and outlook of the property
And the Christmas lights
Donna was very accommodating and a great person..:) The room was a bit warm
And there should be small tables outside each room to sit outside.
- Empremiado (10/5): Exceptional -
