Guest Reviews
- Chris (10/5): Booked for a few nights for 3 contractors as a home away from home really meet our needs - The property was very clean and finished to a high standard in a central town location for bars and restaurants
- Robert (10/5): Top place A++++ - Very nice Nothing
- Carolyn (9/5): Enjoyable - Good location for exploring the Lake District. It was very noisy! We were out most of the time but it’s above a hair salon and you could hear everything.
- Denef (8/5): -
- Jan (9/5): -
- Ivo (9/5): Brilliant and would definitely book again - The location was excellent, it was clean and well presented and easy to find. The kitchen could be better equipped with more utensils eg Colander, salt and pepper, cling film and kitchen foil.
- Ashton (10/5): Brilliant long weekend stay! - We stayed here for 2 nights to see Chris McClausland in The Coro and loved it. The property is spacious, cosy and right in the centre of it all. It has everything you need and the staff are very kind. We will be staying again! :) Only a recommendation to have a small dressing table in one of the bedrooms to get ready.
- Hilary (10/5): Very much enjoyed our 2 night stay as a couple and would book again / recommend to others. - Good central location with the bonus of a small public car park opposite. Property extremely well presented, spacious and good value for money. Casual seating in the lounge not really sufficient for four people. A difficult room design but another casual chair could be accommodated. Essential for guests staying several days if they were four adults. A few bits of diy materials left on stairs?? One ‘ living ‘ plant not cared for looked very sad!! A table or stand alone lamp in the living room would be a great addition for reading and ambience.

- Jay (9/5): Excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hardys Hideaway. - Great location. Easy to walk to restaurants etc. Lovely and clean, comfy beds, the shower was AMAZING! Good to have the car park opposite. Just could have done with a couple of extra armchairs or another sofa. The apartment sleeps 4 but only a sofa for two.
- Anthony (8/5): Excellent, great location and well maintained - Location, cleanliness Another sofa because there were 4 adults
- Gokul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Val (9/5): Lovely central located flat. - The flat is spacious & clean with comfortable beds & everything you need in the kitchen. Lovely big shower. I stayed with my son & we both liked that we were in the town centre yet weren't disturbed by any outside noise. The train station is a 10 minute walk away & bus stops less than 10 minutes. Both modes of transport can take you into the Lake District. I recommend the Laurel & Hardy museum which is a 5 minute walk away. The flat is Close to shops & cafes. Great communication with the owner, a previous guest had 'taken' the hairdryer so he ordered one from Amazon which arrived the next day. We really enjoyed our stay & would choose this flat if we came again. Not a dislike but can I suggest a shelf in the shower for toiletries & a blind at the bathroom window?
- Nicole (10/5): All round really nice experience from start to finish - Every thing about it was just really nice weekend away
- Warburton (10/5): amazing - everything about it, very clean and homely

- Frederick (8/5): Very good but the TV needs sorting - Extremely good No access to free to view TV
- Charlotte (9/5): 5 Star Hideaway - Handy location as right in town. Apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious and modern. Loved the decor. Extremely well equipped too.
Beds comfy, storage space was ample. Shower hot and powerful. The only bad thing was that I couldn't seem to work the heating properly and it was cold but I'm sure that was my fault.
- Chris (9/5): Great place to stay for a family break in Ulverston - Great apartment in the centre of Ulverston, lovely modern feel. The rooms were a good size and everything was clean and good quality.
- Malina (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely, cosy and quiet apartment and great location right in the centre of Ulverston.
- Kay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teoni (8/5): Very good -
- Rachael (10/5): Would recommend. Clean & comfortable - Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Hardy Hideaway. The apartment was spotlessly clean, shower was hot with good pressure. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen and towels were soft and smelt lovely! Fully equipped kitchen and the extras such as tea, coffee, washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels etc was really appreciated. Central location with a payable car park opposite. Great communication from the host. Would definitely recommend Only one sofa. As it was only two of us staying this wasn’t an issue for us but if 3/4 were to stay some guests would have to sit on the dining chairs. Would have also been nice to have a lamp or two in the lounge to make it cozy of an evening.
- Imogen (8/5): Great - Super clean and comfortable. Great apartment. A little noisy.
- Inturi (8/5): It’s very decent for family stays - Location is good, close by parking is available
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -

- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Location , Immaculate inside wonderful for a short day as he has a fully fitted kitchen, washing machine.
Easy parking opposite only £7 a day.
Also from start to finish, the owner very helpful.

- Norval (10/5): Excellent location, quiet and exactly what you need!! - This apartment is situated in an ideal location with everything on your doorstep. It was quiet despite its central location. The apartment itself, is immaculate throughout and very beautifully presented. We had a really pleasant stay and contact with the owner was brilliant. There is no parking however, the carpark was literally metres away at a reasonable cost. We would definitely stay again and have recommended this apartment to friends and family. Nothing at all wrong with this apartment. Would love to stay again.
- Hellon (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptionally clean modern fab facilities very central to everything in Ulverston. Parking close by good price for location would definitely recommend it and certainly would return without any doubt.
- Sulvinder (8/5): Nice and comfortable stay. Very clean. Ideal for a small family - Nice location, newly decorated, good facilities. Good communication from the host. Some road noise (maybe the windows aren’t double glazed). A few extra toilet rolls would have been handy (even though it was only a 1 night stay)
- Neil (9/5): Super Hardy Hideaway - Beautiful clean apartment, right in the middle of town.. Parking can be tricky if you arrive at a busy time, there is a carpark essentially right next to the apartment that you need to pay for but it's very reasonably priced (£7 for 24hrs)..
- Zoe (9/5): Superb - Very clean, great location, comfy beds, very modern Needed some curtains, especially in the bedrooms as the blinds weren’t enough to stop the light coming in.
- Hannah (10/5): Comfy, cosy, and bright - It was conveniently located next to everything in Ulverston. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and resolved any queries immediately. We would happily stay again. Nothing. It was great.
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully presented, in the heart of the town, like new, easy access to apartment. Everything you need. Comfortable stay.
Staff on hand through message service to answer any questions really quickly. Nothing
- Jasmin (10/5): I can’t recommend this property enough, it’s in the perfect location, and the host was amazing, answered any questions p - Beautiful property, great location, super clean, everything you could possible need! Very very impressed. Nothing, it’s perfect!
- Ian (10/5): Very pleasant and would use again - No Breakfast included but the location was excellent All excellent
