Carol's style of hospitality took care of all of our needs and let us be flexible with our days. Not a dislike exactly, just a tip; if you're not used to Irish roads (we're from the USA) then try to be in before dark because the roads felt narrow to us and were tricky to navigate.

Lovely "fireplace" looking heater that worked well for a cool evening. The host really went out of her way to be helpful. The couple were pleasant, engaging and informative in conversation. The kitchen supplies were helpful for making our own breakfast. Very enjoyable stay!

• Philipp (9/5): Viel Liebe zum Detail, ein gemütlicher Aufenthalt. - Zimmer mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Alles super ausgestattet (z.B. Kaffee, Wasser, Taschentücher, Seife und extrem viele Handtücher. Ein großes Bett für irische B&B‘s. Auf individuelle Bedürfnisse wurde ohne Probleme von der Hausherrin eingegangen. Im Bad fehlt eine Steckdose und das Licht geht nur über den allgemeinen Flur zu betätigen. In der Küche fehlt ein Spülbecken.

• Aysha (8/5): Lovely stay, host was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our stay here. - It was clean, comfortable, and the host was friendly, helpful and breakfast although simple was enough. Host was lovely she explained everything and got us some milk to make tea/coffee. Room has everything you need for an overnight stay. Microwave, kettle, tea, coffee. Bathroom was a little cramped and cold, and room was a little cool for my friend travelling with me. The weather had changed and it was wet and cold out. So would have been good to know how to warm up the room in case.

Carol, the host, was gracious and friendly. There are no shops or places to eat nearby if you arrive late. The nearest town is a 15 minute drive. There is a local pub but no food is served.

Sie hat uns super viele Restaurants empfohlen für unser Abendessen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls perfekt und sehr lecker. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder einmal.

The room was extremely nice, comfortable, and very clean. It has a fridge, micrwave, access to cable. Highly recommend staying there if you want to be out of the way of the Cork. Close to Blarney, which is absolutely beautiful. Go,go,go if you can. You will not be disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a bit out of the way, so it was necessary to rent a car. It was necessary to have GPS because the tiny roads all look the same. You need to be prepared to drive. After being in crowded London and Paris it was a perfect way to end our European trip.

• FamilySmithSouthampton (8/5): Great location for Blarney visit - Carol is a lovely host who gave us a very warm welcome. Very clean and nicely decorated room and a comfortable bed. Perfect location for our visit to Blarney castle, but 15 minutes drive to nearest shops, restaurants etc so car essential. Large TV in our room and fridge, microwave and kettle in our room was great. Ensuite was perfectly adequate for us although a little on the small side - I believe the upstairs room has a larger bathroom, so a better option if you need more space.

Nos permitió entrar antes de lo previsto, nos dio recomendaciones sobre sitios para visitar y dónde comer en las inmediaciones y la habitación estaba muy limpia. Todo muy agradable y recomendable. Incluso detalles como té, café o agua en la habitación y un microondas. Aunque merece la pena probar sus desayunos!! Nada negativo que destacar.

• Mark (10/5): - What a Gem! This was just about the best B&B we have ever stayed in. It's in a house occupied by the owners in a little town with a great pub around 30 minutes from Cork. Carol and Arthur were the most wonderful people and fantastic and obliging hosts. Carol even did our washing. WOW! It is a bit out of the way, but that makes it even better! You will ned a car to get around. I would highly recommend this to any visitor to County Cork. We absolutely loved everything about it and were sad to leave. The directions need updating as our GPS got us lost.

• Rachel (9/5): A great place to rest! Fabulous bed! - A delightful 2 rooms within the larger house. Excellent comfy bed. A quiet country location but with easy access to local town of Mallow. Good breakfast. Super helpful host in Carol, who located and sent on a set of keys we left by accident. An excellent place for a relaxed day mid driving round country. We had not realised there was no sink in the kitchenette...... washing up in bathroom felt a bit strange!

• Kim (10/5): Ein absoluter Wohlfühlort – jederzeit wieder! - Carol's B&B ist einfach traumhaft. Das Zimmer war mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wie zuhause fühlt. Das Bett war unglaublich bequem – man schläft wie auf Wolken! Es fehlte an nichts: Alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden, eine kleine Küche mit Sofa, und Sitzecke, ein großer Fernseher mit sämtlichen Streamingdiensten und ein voll ausgestattetes Bad. Carol und ihr Mann sind super herzlich und freundlich, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Man kann optional ein Frühstück dazubuchen für wenig Geld und es ist wirklich lecker. Das B&B liegt in einem kleinen Vorort, man benötigt mit dem Auto ca. 30 Minuten in die Innenstadt. Ca. 15 Minuten entfernt ist ein kleinerer Ort der ebenfalls Pubs, Restaurants bietet. Carol hat dazu tolle Tipps vorbereitet. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt – wir waren leider nur 2 Tage, ich wäre gerne länger geblieben - absolut empfehlenswert!

A l'arrivée, en plus d'un grand sourire, elle nous accueille avec la liste de tous les points d'intérêts alentours, des livres inspirants sur les environs à visiter. Le must : le petit déjeuner irlandais confectionné par Carol dans sa charmante cuisine/veranda. Un petit coin de paradis irlandais.
• Paddyberlin (9/5): Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ok und wesentlich preiswerter als Cork. - Wir haben von hier aus Cork und die Umgebung besucht und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Carol ist wirklich eine tolle Gastgeberin und gibt sich viel Mühe mit ihren Gästen. Das Frühstück ist toll, man sitzt in der gemütlichen Küche und kann aus mehreren Frühstücks-Optionen wählen. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet, neben Kaffee/Tee gibt es auch einen kleinen Kühlschrank und die Betten sind unglaublich bequem. Wir haben das B&B genutzt, um Cork und Cobh zu besuchen, man fährt max. 30 Minuten. Leider gibt es nicht viel drumherum. Es gibt nur wenig Restaurants im benachbarten Ort, die leider nicht wirklich gemütlich sind. Man benötigt auf jeden Fall auch ein Auto.

• Faith (8/5): Cute place in Bweeng - We enjoyed our stay! We were so glad that Carol and Arthur were such gracious hosts! They even printed out places to eat nearby! The location was a bit out of the way- but that was a little bit our fault for not understanding Cork county vs Cork city.

• Bruno (7/5): - Le style de la chambre n était pas à mon goût . La chasse d' eau défectueuse. Appareil électrique dans la douche, servant à faire couler l eau . ( Jamais vu ça) .pour la mise en tension de cet appareil ,il faut tirez une ficelle qui déclenche la mise en route. Aucune des porte s ouvre où se ferme sans utiliser un peu de force ( il faudrait passer un coup de rabot).

She welcomed us with a genuine smile, despite arriving at 1:00 am, immediately making us feel at ease and comfortable. The breakfast was also so tasty! The atmosphere was filled with kindness and warmth, and it was clear that they had put great effort into making us feel at home. From the beautifully arranged space to the thoughtful touches throughout, every detail spoke of her care and dedication. It was truly heartwarming to experience such a gracious and generous welcome.

• suzi (10/5): Little gem close to cork airport - This is a lovely B&B and is about 35 minutes from Cork airport. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast made to order at a time convenient for you and was delicious for a small extra price €10 at the time of writing. Nothing was too much trouble . Lot's of lovely little touches in the room. The rooms also had microwave, toaster and fridge. Prober milk was supplied, which was lovely and made a change from the nearest town mallow about 15 minutes away. Blarney castle about 20 minutes away and would recommend . If you want somewhere away from hustle and bustle, this is the place. It is not near a shop so make sure you get bits before you arrive and you will need a car. If we are ever back in cork, we would definitely stay again.
