• Maëlle (7/5): Cosy family house welcoming you - We arrived at Mike and Beata’s house, who welcomed us with a warm welcome. The accommodation hosts various rooms, we ended up in room 2. We stayed there for 2 nights, the room was well furnished with a couch, and a kettle to warm up with a nice tea in the evening. A mini fridge is also available which was great to store our things for the next day. The space was really clean and a hair dryer was available. It was nice. It was a bit humid despite the heating. In addition, what seemed to be a boiler upstairs above the room made noise during our stay.

• Sarah (9/5): Spacious and fabulous view - The landscape, views and location were wonderful. Great host. Huge room. The doors and shower were a little tricky to operate and there didn't seem to be anywhere for us to hang our damp towels.

• Lesley (10/5): Mountain Widok was an excellent place to stay, homely, clean, great views at the back of the house. - At Mountain Widok is was clean, quiet, a family home, good parking and tea/coffee making facilities. Great views across mountain ranges from the back room of the house. The room was large and the bed, also very comfy. The owner meet us at the door, gave us keys, showed us to our room, gave us advise on the places to eat in Killorglin. And a great location to start the Ring of Kerry from. Whats not to like.
• Kevin (9/5): Really nice stay - Really nice and cosy. The en-suite bathroom was really nice and clean. Host was very welcoming. The curtain doesn’t fully block the light and you might be waken up by the sunlight if you are used to sleep in the dark. The internet network is not very good and no WiFi. The good point is that there is TV to compensate.

• Reynolds (7/5): - Big room. Tea, coffee, microwave on corridor. A little cold. Was there in January and felt there wasn't enough heat in the room. Although only a couple of kilometers from Kilorglin, it was not walkable due to narrow busy road. Possibly ok during the day but definitely not after dark. Taxis cost €13 just to get to the town.

• Mallory (10/5): Exactly what I needed—a warm, accommodating place to sleep during a stressful part of my trip - Michael COMPLETELY saved me— I checked in very late on a Saturday night having booked without realizing Mountain Widok was too far from my train station to get a taxi out of town early enough the next morning to catch my train to the airport. Michael not only helped me check in at that late hour, but also helped me call an early taxi from the next town over so I didn’t miss my train the next morning. AND he woke up early the next morning to make sure I got off okay. Total angel. I didn’t deserve him and I’ll always be grateful! If you’re new to Ireland, be warned that Killorglin is a very small town and transportation in/out may be tricky outside of peak hours. But it’s a gorgeous place and you’ll love it.

• Cindy (10/5): Absolutely perfect! - If I could I would give even more stars! Absolutely amazing. The room was so nice and incredibly clean. My friend asked if there’s a toaster in the little kitchen (which was not) but the landlord brought us one! Perfect stay and I could not recommend it enough’

• Teresa (5/5): Not sure how it got such high ratings. Obviously people aren't expecting much from their stay. - It was close to the village. Having to remove shoes before entering the room with no disposable slippers provided. Taking shoes on and off just to use the bathroom. The gable had no lights and potholes full of water. When I went to my car my feet were wet as I couldn't see a thing. The gardens and driveway out front were very unkempt.

Réception brève, la fenêtre qui donne sur le magnifique parking avec en plus le rideau occultant qui n’occulte pas vraiment puisque les personnes peuvent nous voir de l’extérieur. Ensuite le bruit : chauffe eau qui se déclenche (bruit sourd) à chaque fois que quelqu’un allume l’eau dans la maison, réception tardive des occupants qui parlaient fort dans le couloir le soir tard, le matin réveil par la machine à café située dans le couloir. Bref cage à poule. Passable pour une nuit mais pas plus.

Non mi è piaciuto che sulla porta della camera c'era un cartello che diceva : Togliersi le scarpe prima di entrare nella stanza. L'host poco socevole, quando siamo partiti abbiamo dovuto chiamarlo più volte per dirgli che partivamo.

The host was incredibly kind and hospitable, even accommodating our last-minute change of plans. The room was cozy with a very comfortable bed, and the spacious bathroom was spotless. A nice breakfast setup was provided, and there was plenty of parking available.

Elle est a partager seulement avec une autre chambre, les autres en ont une intégrée. Un petit frigo est à disposition ( il est partagé avec les autres chambres)

• Arianna (8/5): - La casa all'interno della quale era inserita la camera è molto bella, in una zona silenziosa e residenziale poco fuori da Killorglin. La stanza è arredata bene, il letto comodo, il bagno moderno spazioso e funzionale. Fuori dalla stanza c'era un mini spazio con macchinetta per il caffè, piccolo frigo, frutta e yogurt a disposizione, però risultava un po' scomodo consumare la colazione per gli spazi stretti della stanza privata e per la paura di sporcare divano e tappeto. Il prezzo è alto, in linea con il mercato Irlandese

Molto silenzioso. Personale molto gentile. Suggerimento di togliere le scarpe prima di entrare in camera. Arredamento molto grazioso. Presenza di macchinetta del caffè, yogur e frutta per una leggera e sana colazione, come piace a me! Cuscini leggermente scomodi e assenza di colazione salata.
• Gilles (8/5): Un lieu bien situé pour la visite du Kerry, ou pour un départ par l’aéroport - Les chambres sont grandes bien équipées. La salle de bain est très propre et grande. Il n’y a pas un espace dédié pour le petit déjeuner, il est bien indiqué que la location ne comprend que des chambres. Mais du coup il est difficile de profiter de la tisanerie proposée très gentiment par les propriétaires ( thé, café, yaourt, lait etc.) Si il est entendu qu’on peut prendre le petit déjeuner dans la chambre, alors il faudrait deux chaises par chambre.

• Florence (6/5): Très décevant pour le prix - Chambre très grande (trop) Salle de bains partagée avec les toilettes dedans, pour 4 chambres il faut attendre beaucoup Et pour le prix c'est vraiment abusif de ne pas avoir des équipements de base qu'on trouve partout : Une seule bouilloire dans un coin du couloir pour toutes les chambres, ça ne serait pas cher de mettre 1 bouilloire dans chaque chambre Pratiquement aucun matériel pour le petit déjeuner : pas de grille pain, pas d'assiette ni même.un couteau, une seule petite cuillère (sale) Pas de point d'eau, il faut attendre que la salle de bains soit libre pour pouvoir remplir la bouilloire ! A la.place de la chambre immense et de la salle de bains avec baignoire à remous (!!!) Il vaudrait mieux avoir une cabine de douche dans chaque chambre... ou au moins un lavabo...
