- Cornell (9/5): Cracking retreat - Great retreat. Quiet, well equipped and immaculate. As described in the listing. If anything the listing understated how good it is. Kitchen beautifully equipped. Lots of homely touches in living and sleeping spaces. Having visited in mid December we would love to return in summer months and enjoy the outdoor space as well. Two minutes slow walk to beach. The local approach road was easy to miss from the main road and it is very seriously potholed. Guessing the red weather warning rated recent storm has accelerated the problem. A tractor would have been ideal to get down the lane!

The house is a lovely standard, just being cladded too (no longer green) Everything we needed for the weekend. Thank you. A mud free path or stepping stones to the house would be perfect as we were conscious of bringing the mud in as it was raining heavily.
