• Martha (9/5): Great location in the heart of Amsterdam! The apartments are perfect for two couples. - The location was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed being able to walk to everything we wanted to see during our stay. The host, Roberto, was awesome about letting us drop off our luggage early and even took all of it up the stairs to the apartment for us. It's a great setup for two couples since we each had our own apartment space. The convenience of the coffee machine with pods was appreciated. Please take the warnings about the staircase seriously. We found many staircases in Amsterdam to be challenging but the one in these apartments is not to be taken lightly especially when navigating the stairs with suitcases (and ours were smaller carryon sizes). The units could use some new linens and please add some hand towels for the kitchen area.

• Beth (6/5): Great location very friendly manager who met us and allowed us to store our luggage. - The location was very convenient. Close to all the sights and tram stop was right out front to take you to further locations. It was typically Dutch with very steep steps and the two bedrooms were in several floors. I would have liked to have a common space to gather and I didn’t realize that was hard to come by in Amsterdam.

• Adrian (9/5): - The location of the apartment is excellent, just two minutes away from Amsterdam Central Station, which makes getting around the city very convenient. The apartment was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. In addition, the host was very kind and offered us great flexibility with luggage storage.
• Nejdiah (4/5): - Location was the only good thing. 1. Front door was really old & the lock was extremely difficult to open. At 11pm, we were always struggling to enter the apartment. 2. Heating was not on, when we checked in. We had to ask the host to turn it on & he kept it really low. Overall, we were cold in the apartment. 3. The water in the shower was luke warm, not at all hot. Again, we told the host to turn up the water heater. This was really annoying for us. 4. No toiletries (no shampoo, no conditioner) were provided in the apartment. 5. Only 3 (extremely old & tattered) towels were provided, for 3 guests, in a 2-bedroom apartment. 6. On our check-out day, our train was at 6 pm. Since check-out was at 11am, we asked our host if we could leave our bags at the apartment in his office & come collect it at 5pm. He said that we could only leave it until 2pm. Since we were going to Zaanse Schans which is about 1 hour away, we ended up leaving our bags at the train station, in lockers, which of course was an added expense. Generally, hosts at Air BnB's let you leave your luggage, so this was definitely a let-down. We were 3 friends that rented this Air BnB. We all have traveled & stayed at multiple Air BnB's & this was definitely a disappointment. The one & only good thing about this apartment was its location.

Стълбите между етежите са тесни като коридор, с супер плитки и високи стъпала, който за бонус и завиват...

Demoras en contestar, las indicaciones para ingreso llegaron en forma tardía, la calefacción no funcionaba, la ropa de cama era insuficiente por lo que la primer noche hasta que al otro día llegó el abrigo pasamos frío y dormimos mal, teniendo en cuenta que estabamos con un niño. La vajilla es insuficiente, solo 2 vasos, 3 tazas, pocos platos, pocos utensilios de cocina. Hay un lavarropas pero no donde tenderla, la distribución del mobiliario es mala y te obliga a subir y bajar para comer, desayunar, etc. Las almohadas, es hora de cambiarlas, las fotografías no demuestran lo que realmente es.

Although we contacted the property earlier in the day to confirm our arrival time, when we arrived, the property had been given to another family — without even checking the tenant’s name or ID. The family who received the keys actually had a reservation for 2026. We had to wait for an hour in the rain until the owner resolved the issue. When we finally got access to our reserved property, we found that the bathroom had already been used, and the towels were not fresh. The owner offered a refund as compensation for the inconvenience, but unfortunately, we have not received any refund or any response to our follow-up messages.

Kleinere Defekte (Lose WC Deckel, Unterbettklappen, Fenster etc), aber Preis und Lage machen das für 1-2 Nächte wett. Ansonsten alles super!

• Rudy (2/5): Terrible - we left after one night - The property is close to Centraal station, so it’s very easy to get there. - The property was not as advertised, there were two extra rooms leading to each bathroom, which are not in the photos. The host told us they were not advertised during check-in, which felt suspicious. - One of the bathrooms had a locked door which we were unsure where it lead to. This (and the two extra rooms) is a detail that should be disclosed in the listing because, like us, some people can be concerned (we were two couples staying in the flat). - The downstairs door to the lobby doesn’t have a lock, which didn’t make us feel safe. - The Bathrooms and kitchen were clean. But the bedrooms were dirty - there were stains and hair on the sheets, marks on the walls, the floors were dirty (sticky stains, dust, and dirt), the rooms smelled like smoke and we found insects on the bed frame. The towels were also unclean and stained. - Because of the location, it is very noisy (tram stop directly below) and the thin windows hardly insulated that noise. Avoid if you’re a light sleeper. - The stairs are very steep so this apartment isn’t for people who have mobility issues - The flat is cold (likely from the thin windows) Because of these points (especially points 1-3), We booked another place after one night because we wanted to get out of there. We would’ve left earlier but had to stay for one night as it was too late to find another accommodation with the plans we had booked on the day we checked in (gig tickets). All in all, this apartment is not worth the money and we felt very misled. We’re very surprised it’s so highly rated - it really soured the first part of our trip. We think other people should know these details, especially the aspects the listing does not mention (points 1-3). My advice to the host is to be more transparent about the listing (e.g. two extra rooms, doors in the bathroom), properly clean the bedrooms and have a lock for the downstairs door for our privacy and safety…

I loved the decoration and the attention to detail with added toiletries! 10/10 would stay again. Stairs are a bit narrow for those traveling with large suitcases, but it wasn't a problem for us.

• Sarah (8/5): Great location and apartment but not for those with reduced mobillity. - Amazing location! Couldn’t get anymore central if we tried. Very modern & well looked after apartment. Good facilities. Stairs up to the property are extremely steep! A bit difficult with big suitcases but whilst staying in Amsterdam you shouldn't be too surprised by this. A bit noisy with the tram stop right outside the apartment but again, staying in central Amsterdam - this can be expected. The only thing we didn't really like was that the 'main' door up to the apartment doesn't have a lock so privacy felt a little bit diminished.
