• Sundus (10/5): Beautiful, Cosy Stay With Everything We Needed - We had such a lovely stay at Savannah Lodge. The lodge was very clean, cosy, and comfortable, and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, including a baby cot which was really appreciated travelling with a baby. The kitchen was fully equipped with all utensils and facilities needed, making it feel like a real home away from home. The location was ideal, peaceful and quiet whilst still being really pretty and relaxing. The owner was also incredibly thoughtful and left us fresh bread, fresh eggs, and milk on arrival, which was such a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome. We honestly wished we had booked to stay for longer and would happily return again in the future. Highly recommend. When we had to go home

We had fresh bread, eggs, flowers, milk, butter and chocolates on our arrival. Dog friendly with dog treats and a blanket. The bed was so comfy. Best night sleep ever. • Myriam (9/5): Weymouth family visit for Christmas with walking distance to the main house. Perfect - Lovely place to stay, beautifully clean with modern appliances (although we ate with our family). Very nice welcoming message on the wall, with Christmas decorations all round, eggs, milk, bread, biscuits and more! The coffee was excellent! Thank you for a relaxing stay! We went to Lulworth Cove, Chesil Beach, Weymouth Beach and a walk in the marsh. Great area. In all, these are only small details - The double bed itself was a bit small (we are used to a 160m mattress). The central heating was difficult to predict, the bedroom and the shower room were either cold or too hot (the shower room was very cold at 22:00, then very hot in the middle of the night). We kept the radiator to 1 or 2 in the bedroom, especially at night, otherwise it was too hot.

There was even ice ready in the freezer! Loved the privacy of just being with my family. Location perfect for sightseeing, along with its own stunning views a short walk away. Absolutely nothing!!!

It was in a very quiet location, easy to access, parking available and had all the amenities we needed. Darren, the host, really has thought of everything you may need for a home away from home. • Jenny (9/5): Fabulous night away and within a short drive of Weymouth and surrounding areas - The lodge was extremely clean and modern, with everything we needed for a 1 night stay. The welcome pack of bread and eggs was very much appreciated too - even with butter and olive oil provided so we could make breakfast without having to drive to a nearby shop. We also loved the short walk to the Fat Badger for dinner and live music into the evening (Saturday). We liked everything but given it was such a hot weekend, some outside space would have been welcomed. That is our fault though for not checking that before booking.

• Laura (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf. - Een compleet huisje. Alles was aanwezig. De omgeving was heerlijk rustig. De communicatie verliep erg soepel. Voor ons was het bed te zacht, maar dat is persoonlijk.

• Shahid (10/5): Great location, easy to book stay and well equipped host - Extremely easy to book stay, facilities were all available and equipment provided. Not many hosts provide as much as this host did with equipment, personal touches and cleanliness. Very happy stay Beds were not that comfortable and the sofa bed is not a comfortable sofa to sleep on, due to the buttons of the design. Was extremely uncomfortable to sleep but a thick blanket would have been nice to put over to make it comfier. Otherwise everything was perfect

Well done! - Location was perfect, Very high quality property, fixtures and fittings The kitchen plates, serial bowls and cups were not cleaned very well; this wasn’t a problem for us, we just cleaned the items we used before using them. TV could have done with easy access to TV channels rather than ITVX etc.

• James (10/5): A modern and comfortable apartment. Highly recommended!! - When we arrived, there was fresh bread, eggs, plenty of teabags, coffee sachets, sugar, jam and marmalade sachets, packets of small biscuits and Nespresso capsules. In the fridge was some fresh milk and butter sachets. Also there was a vase of fresh flowers which my wife appreciated. In the kitchen area there was plenty of kitchen appliances: Oven, Combi oven/microwave, electric hob and in a cupboard was an air fryer. There was a kettle and a Nespresso maker. There was plenty of cutlery, cups, glasses, plates, bowls, utensils etc. Also provided was lots of washing up liquid, and various kitchen extras. We used the kitchen for making breakfast and evening meals. There was an dining area which looked great and high chairs. We found a folder here with manuals and tourist leaflets. There was also an Echo Dot unit here though we didn't use it. In addition also a dual electrical socket with standard usb and usb-c charging points. The living area was nice and there was a large tv fitted to a recess in the wall facing the sofa. Various other recesses had books, ornaments etc. There was a fake fire below the tv I think though we didn't use it. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were wonderful. A nice touch were power sockets that had standard USB and usb-c charging points. Nice touches in the bathroom were containers of body wash, shampoo and conditioner attached to the wall in the shower unit. Also the bathroom mirror had a lighting strip on it which could change colour and a de-mister, both touch controlled. We didn't use the outdoor sitting area to the side of the building. We parked our car outside the front door which was nice. The apartment was in a quiet neighbourhood and within easy reach of the town centre and various local shops where you could buy groceries. In addition it was pet friendly and our little dog Max was very relaxed there. The apartment was a very useful base for visiting locations in Dorset, which we did The Nespresso coffee machine ( my first time using one! ). This is my personal opinion as I'm sure other people like them. It was a lot of effort for a small coffee. Having a cafetiere would a useful addition to the kitchen. Having a first aid kit would be a useful addition to the apartment ( There might have been one but I didn't see it )

• Julie (10/5): Just what we needed …………. - We had a lovely few nights stay. Great location, we could easily travel the coastline each day. The apartment is finished to a high spec & was spotlessly clean. There was fresh bread, milk & eggs waiting for us (lovely thought, thank you). Coffee, tea & sugar are in the caddies on the side, along with some biscuits. Fresh flowers on the breakfast bar were the first thing we saw, very welcoming. There’s a great folder with lots of handy local information too. We could not have asked for anything more! We would stay here again if we visit the area & will definitely recommend it to friends & family. There was nothing we didn’t like to be honest but one very small thing we can think of is it would have been handy to have a small enclosed area outside so we could have the side door open as it was really warm while we were there - we had our young dog with us & his recall is still a tad ‘hit & miss’ so had to keep the door closed all the time. This is a very ‘us’ specific thing though & would not affect the majority of people staying here - it really is a fab place!

• Woolcock (9/5): Very good for short stays. - Very good but we had to eat on the go as we needed to be elsewhere at 0700. Size could have been a bit bigger. Also when we did watch some television- the television in the lounge was to high and if you kept watching you would get neck ache.

• Anna (10/5): Perfect holiday lodge - The Lodge was very clean and tastefully decorated. The personalised welcome message was a really sweet idea. We arrived late in the day, and it was so thoughtful of Darren to provide a nice loaf of bread, eggs, milk, butter, and jam, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Everything we needed to make our short stay as comfortable as possible was readily available. Darren was very welcoming in his messages. No complaints about the Lodge - it was perfect!!!

• Vishal (10/5): Great stay, close to town, all you need for staycation available, on-site parking, friendly host, modern decor - Everything that you need from start of the day to finish was available including bread, butter, jam, egg, milk, washing detergent, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc. there was also broom and dust pan, iron, ironing board, air fryer, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, oven, washer/dryer, cloth airer and pegs. Owner were prompt on any messages and extremely welcoming. I’d love to come back again The sofa bed was not as comfortable to sleep on as expected.

The property is finished well, has everthing required for a self catering holiday/trip and is located in a safe and secure area. Visited in summer during heatwave. No air conditioning unfortunately. Host provided us with mini fans which helped a little.

• Andrew (9/5): An excellent base from which to explore glorious Dorset. - The location was what we were looking for - walkable to Chisel Beach one way, and Weymouth centre the other way. The accommodation was perhaps just a little snug, but finished to a very high standard, and very well equipped. Overall I'd definitely recommend this property as a base to explore Weymouth and Dorset in general. The TV area was a bit snug, so the viewing position wasn't that comfortable. We're also used to a bigger bed. That said, we've already recommended this property to some friends. We'd stay again.

We were blown away with the property, there isn’t anything you could want that isn’t provided. Felt more like a hotel than a self catering place. The finish and equipment is to a fantastic standard. Towels were provided. Did not expect them. Body wash etc in bathroom supplied. Bread eggs and good coffee provided too. Very short walk to exercise the dog and so much you can do in the area

• Olivia (10/5): Short but sweet! Hope to stay for longer next time. - The apartment was immaculately clean, amazingly well organised, and maintained to an excellent standard. The owners provide everything you could possibly need - the kitchen was brilliantly equipped with all of the appliances you could want and really helpful to have a supply of consumables (e.g. kitchen towel, washing up liquid etc). Loved the welcome pack of food too. The property is in a residential area but at the end of a cul-de-sac making it nice and peaceful. Can’t fault a thing.

A really warm welcome when we arrived, it was very easy to settle in. Really appreciated the welcome pack and fresh flowers left out on our arrival. Accommodation has everything you need with all mod cons and everything decorated to an incredibly high standard. Location great, really peaceful and bed was comfy. Also only a 25 min walk to Weymouth and easy drives to all the local attractions. Would definitely recommend.

Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, eggs, coffee pods, biscuits, laundry detergent, washing up liquid all provided and all appreciated after a long journey. There was also a cot and brand new highchair provided. Would definitely stay again and can highly recommend. N/A
• A (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was brand new condition. It had everything imaginable that you might need. The owners were nearby and very attentive to make sure we had a comfortable stay. They even left bread, eggs, butter, milk! The fresh flowers were a nice surprise too.
