Guest Reviews
- Patrick (8/5): Ok for an overnight stay - Convenient place to stay in Brighton close to center Street outside noisy
- Rita (8/5): Overall very comfortable stay and we would use again. Host was attentive and accessible. Thank you. - Location was excellent in accessing the Brighton Centre where my conference was held and the beach is only 5-10 mins walk away so very convenient.
Rooms were nice and spacious and clean. We liked everything but we would like to suggest some improvements for next time as follows: We felt the furniture needed updating especially the single beds as they were not comfortable to sleep in. We felt there should have been an additional lock inside the front door to the flat, the Yale lock was flimsy and we didn’t feel safe at night. All the equipment should be checked before letting out as the extractor fan in the kitchen didn’t work and Netflix didn’t work.

- Dequan (9/5): Great apartment, great location and super helpful host! Excellent experience. - Location, size and comfort Television probably needs an upgrade to a smart TV, regular WiFi as opposed to via dongles. These are minor though…
- Marianne (10/5): We really enjoyed our three night stay and hopefully we can return soon. - The best thing was the location, it was central to everything, just a minute to town, shopping center beside us and also walking distance down to the pier.
The flat was very comfortable and spacious. Perfect for a family of four. Nothing that we didn’t like.
- Tracey (7/5): Cleaner rude and aggressive - Location Staff/ cleaner was extremely rude on leaving we were 2 min late. Then accused us of things we didn't do. We had photographic evidence of how we left the apartment. They tried to charge us but on seeing photos didn't! Owner was polite on text messages once evidence seen
- John (10/5): It was a great stay in a great location. Parking was very close too in a paid multi-storey car park. - The location was excellent and the hosts communicated their instructions for using the lock box very well. Nothing worth complaining about.
- stephen (7/5): - Steps to property dark no light it seems this is a long standing complaint this area is also scruffy' the bath needs replacing its seen better days and it's fit only as a shower, also the sofa cushions need a good clean underneath, so nothing major the issues
I suppose reflects the price .
We had a good time and it's a good location.
- Cheryl (8/5): Fab location, home from home feel. - Fantastic location .
Comfy home from home feel.
Comfy beds. No light in hallway coming up the stairs to flat, had to use phone torch.
Previous tenants had not washed utensils, glasses, cups properly. We had to wash before able to use.
- Kerry (10/5): Fab, would happily stay again. - Light, airy and spacious; great location.
- harry (9/5): - perfect location and the apartment was very comfortable
- Tony (9/5): Excellent apartment! Very central, spacious and comfortable. - The location is very central and close to all amenities. The flat is a large 2 bed - both bedrooms have lots of space. The main living area is shared with the kitchen and dining table but there is ample space and is tastefully done. It was very clean and tidy and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. We would stay again for sure. As a former resident of Brighton we loved it and didn't want to come home.
- Kuo Hung (10/5): -
- Lydia (9/5): Great flat, spacious clean and well presented - All needs were catered for. The property was spacious and clean, and very central to Brighton.
- Camilla (6/5): - Helt ok lägenhet. Centralt läge. Dåligt wifi.
Dubbelsängen är för liten för två vuxna.
Slitet, skulle behöva en allmän uppfräschning.
- Catherine (10/5): It was a lovely stay! - Central location. In walking distance to the sea front and train station. Great host communication. Nothing
- Ashley (8/5): Was clean & functional - ideal for a get together with friends as we were out for most of the time. - Very central to Brighton which was ideal for our purposes.
- Patricia (8/5): Lovely place in the heart of Brighton! - The property is big and spacious! Confortable beds and very luminous and well equipped. Pillows could be improved!
- Andrea (9/5): Fantastic location and apartment. I will stay again. - Spacious and such a great location. Noise wasn’t an issue as bedrooms away from main road. Nothing!
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (9/5): First rate. Highly recommended. - Location is 10/10. Right in the heart of Brighton and close to NCP car parks. Beds were super comfy and lounge was fantastic. Bathroom cleanliness needs to be looked at. Found hairs on the side of and in the bath. Everything else was perfect.
- Ian (8/5): Great weekend thank you! - Great location, well equipped and very clean Wouldn’t say there was anything we didn’t like but just a few quite minor things that in our opinion could be improved with a little TLC that would make the property top notch.Communal entrance hall was rather scruffy and stairs quite dirty.windows at front and rear need a good clean (external)and double bed was rather lumpy.Curtains a bit tatty and hold backs obviously been pulled out of wall in double room leaving holes in wall.1 of the 3 spotlights over kitchen area not working. Hall and small bedroom windows look out on to an enclosed roof area which is not very attractive.might make sense to put an opaque film on these so you don’t see the roof area and various ladders etc that are stored there but still get the light in.
- Patricia (10/5): Home away from home 🏡 - I loved mostly everything about the property. It was spacious, clean, and homely with all necessary amenities, including washing machine, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer, T.V with known streaming services e.t.c.
Churchill mall only 1 min walk and Brighton station about 10 mins walk.
The property was very comfortable to stay and the host is kind and considerate, accommodating my unfortunate suitation that required a late check out. The only negative is the washing machine drawer, which seemed to have never ever been washed.
- Paul (9/5): Clean and spacious apartment in a perfect central location. - Perfect central location for exploring Brighton; despite the main living area overlooking the busy Western Road there was not a huge amount of external noise. The apartment was very clean & spacious, especially the main living/dining area, with all of the facilities that I needed for a four night stay. No need to worry about the shabby external appearance as inside the apartment is decorated to a good standard and all of the bed linen, towels etc. felt of good quality. Pre-arrival instructions were excellent and the communication with the owner when I had a small issue was friendly and prompt. Would certainly stay again if in the area for a few days. The wifi was not of a great quality, especially if using several devices at the same time, and the dongle had to be transported between rooms to maintain a signal. Bed in the main bedroom was too small for a 6ft+ tall person like myself and my feet were left dangling over the end. Steep staircase from main door up to apartment entrance - fine for me but would be very problematic for anyone with mobility issues.
- Mick (9/5): Good comunication with owner and a very comfortable stay. - Great location, and very cofortable for a few days. The flat was very large and was well equiped and would not hesitate in booking again.
- Elmehdi (9/5): Superb - Everything you need is there
- Shankara (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous location, everything within walking distance and the apartment is so spacious! Lovely lounge and bedrooms and had everything we needed. The host was so informative and helped us out so much with everything, couldn’t fault it at all! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay 😊
- Andrew (10/5): Was very nice, clean and very convenient - Owner was very friendly and communicative. The property was very clean and very convenient.
- Pamela (9/5): Superb -
- Andy (8/5): Well-located comfy apartment for a city trip - Clarence House is just behind the main shopping street of Brighton but without any nuisance from there. The front door faces a quieter green square.
The apartment itself is long and narrow; it has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a small washing room and the living/kitchen space, which is where we spent most of our time indoors. Nice was for us the baby cot and seat.
The beach and boulevard is at walking distance. Great for a stay in the city. Clarence Square seems to attract junkies and youth hanging on the doorsteps at night. Not dangerous but a bit gloomy sometimes.
Parking is difficult if you have a van like us (> 1.93 cm). The nearest garage that fitted was Regency Square Park, which was quite expensive (32 GBP per day).
The stairwell to the apartment’s door is quite narrow and a challenge for prams like ours.
- Walter (7/5): great location - Location near downtown parents’ bed too small, bathroom could be a bit more modern. staircase to reach the appartement too steep.
- Mr (10/5): Perfect Brighton holiday flat - Dede's apartment is well located a few minutes walk from the i360 tourist attraction and the beach and two minutes walk to a pub and shops etc. The apartment has a good bath with shower overhead, comfy beds, a super soft sofa, a decent sized table and a full kitchen. You could easily stay here comfortably for a week or two. There are steps to walk up to the front door and then further steps to the apartment door, so probably for the mobility impaired it wouldn't be a safe option, however for everyone else I recommend if it's available - book it! Everything was perfect.
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Geraldine (9/5): Home from home. Clean, spacious, convenient and a helpful host. - Fantastic location. Very clean and well decorated.
The photos don’t do it justice- it’s much brighter and more spacious. It’s a lovely flat.
The owner/manager was very helpful when I had questions about the wifi. And was very gracious about a slightly earlier checkin as there wasn’t a booking the night before. The rate was high likely due to TGE festival. Which is to be expected.
- Eliza (8/5): Very clean, comfortable. Home away from home. - The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated. The host was very accommodating. He knew we were coming with a baby. He set up a cot in the room, we had a highchair & a baby bath to use.
This felt like we were home away from home. Everything we could ever need was provided in the apartment & good quality items too.
It was raining a lot so we actually spent more time in the apartment. Our little girl loved running across the long corridor.
I will definelty recommend this apartment. Very good location too, so many shops & restuarant to choose from. Plus a very short walk to the Beach & Brighton Pier. We drove so parking was a nightmare. Nothing to do with apartment. But bear in mind if you plan to drive there. Also main bedroom next to the stairs so a lot of noise when the other guest or entering or exciting their apartments.
The living room sofa was not comfortable to sit on for long period.
- Adeniran (9/5): Love the apartment and it’s proximity to the sea front/beach - The apartment was very spacious and clean.. The location was also close to sea front and the host was great.. Would definitely stay there again when I visit Brighton.
- Joseph (9/5): Superb -
