Guest Reviews
- Alison (9/5): Peaceful and comfortable. - Clean, tidy and comfortable. Convenient location in easy walking distance of beautiful beaches and countryside. There’s a handy Co-op store round the corner that was open late for food. I particularly appreciated thoughtful touches such as leaving out tea, coffee and biscuits, as well as a pint of milk in the fridge and a bag of ice in the freezer. Nothing.

- Linda (10/5): A pleasure to stay here - I loved this little apartment! It was the perfect size with everything I needed for a few days away. The bed was supremely comfortable, the shower was great and it was very private. It really felt like coming home each day after I'd been out and about. The village of Bembridge is lovely, one of the nicest places on the IOW in my opinion. The beach was great and the lifeboat station is well worth a visit . I had to leave and come back to my boring life!
- Lesley (5/5): Wouldn’t stay again - It was situated near the village inn pub restaurant which was really excellent The attitude of the owner . As soon as we literally arrived she was in apartment demanded £20 for our small dog which she said dogs weren’t allowed but booking . Com still had it on there site under dog friendly 😡the apartment needs a good update , the towels were musty awful .
- jackie (10/5): I really enjoyed my visit and would like to return and would recommend it to everyone. - When I got there a lovely lady met me and told me if I needed anything to knock on the door and ask. There was some milk , tea and coffee and biscuits which were greatly appreciated. I felt so happy and safe in the flat and found the people in the village very friendly and helpful nothing

- Debbie (9/5): - Lovely apartment in quiet location. Milk and ice in the fridge/freezer. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment was lovely and clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the morning.
We very much enjoyed our stay.
- sara (8/5): Lovely place, host and location. - Facilities and private location only short walk to lovely Sandy beach. Some outdoor sun loungers would be great as there is space and it gets the sun.
- Elishia (9/5): -
- Lee (8/5): -
- Joanne (5/5): Adequate - Good position Steep external stairs.
- Julie (7/5): Really lovely village, location perfect and had a great holiday, the apartments condition and comments above did not de - Safe location, quiet, size, outdoor space, sunny aspect, information about IOW, TV, big bed, off road parking, dog walk, local shops, friendly owners and nearby, great village - thx for milk and biscuits and great you recycle waste Access to property via metal steps narrow and steep, standing rain water on patio causing midges, whole apartment needed a deep clean although generally clean on surface, wall hangings not to our taste and a bit out there especially in bedroom, gate didn’t close properly (dog) and whole apartment needed an upgrade and more maintenance although we understand the price reflected that.
- Barbara (8/5): Very good -
- Jane (9/5): Superb - The apartment was really homely.
- Kevin (10/5): Absolutely perfect - In a perfect location to the village with a sun terrace which gets sun all day could not fault clean tidy and had everything you could need May not suit people who struggle with stairs
- Joy (10/5): Great apartment in a fantastic location. - The bed was amazingly comfortable and it was like home from home. Everything you needed was supplied. Local shop, pub and take aways all within easy walking distance. Would definitely go back. Nothing
- Fiona (8/5): Great Location and neat little appartment -
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable apartment. Made to feel welcome. Spacious in every way. Good WiFi and off street parking, although a bit tight.
- Amanda (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyable - Lovely separate spaces and roof terrace. A lick of paint outside, and cleaner windows. Minor details though .
- Dawn (7/5): Good -
- Grazyna (9/5): Superb -
- Cm (10/5): Will stay again! - Location was great, the apartment was comfortable with good wifi and a lovely sun deck to sit on and listen to the birds.
- Catherine (8/5): Thank you. Exactly as described a great, comfortable and cosy base fo exploring Bembridge - Lovely, comfy bed. Very warm and cosy. Excellent location. Thank you so much for milk and biscuits. Bathroom very new and clean. Some window frames and furniture looked a little tired. But we were very warm despite it being April.
- Alyson (9/5): A lovely place to stay. -
- Catherine (7/5): Great location and host! - Location, friendly host - didn’t get much of a chance to chat due our busy schedule- little touches e.g. milk and biscuits. Thank you. The property, when we stayed, needed some simple decorative updates - peeling paint on outside windows - and a deeper clean in some areas e.g. shower cubicle.
- Nik (10/5): Absolutely superb apartment - perfect for peace & quiet - Great location, very quiet & private - lovely apartment with plenty of space & good facilities nothing!
- Beth (8/5): Sweet apartment for a short stay - The property was sweet and a great space to retreat to. It was quite difficult to find and the stairs up to the apartment were slippery and were quite a challenge.
- Ray (9/5): It was a short overnight stay . Warm, comfortable and close to the location I needed,as advertised - Clean and tidy. And a welcome refreshment.
It was ideal for my overnight stay
- Jason (10/5): Perfect little apartment and great hosts! - This was a lovely little apartment, perfectly located for our trip to visit family. Immaculately clean, small but perfectly formed with everything you could need. Our lovely hosts checked in to make sure we had all we needed and left us mince pies, a pint of milk and tea and coffee to help us settle in which was very kind. There are lots of things a short walk away such as shops, pubs and cafes. We had a lovely breakfast in the Harbour View café, and the roast dinners looked AMAZING!. Even though it is currently being renovated, the Village Inn is also well worth a visit, just 2 minutes from the apartment with fabulous food and great staff. We did not use the outdoor area as it was November, but this is a lovely private space which we would definitely use in summer months. Thank you for looking after us, we will definitely return :)
- Cm (10/5): Short stay, but sweet! - The apartment was very welcoming and extremely comfortable. It was easily accessible, both day and night, without having to disturb the owners. Every room was thoughtfully laid out and had everything I needed.
- Sean (9/5): Lovely break. Accommodation was perfect to come back to after a day out. Would definitely stay again - Great location , very comfortable and cosy. Great big comfortable bed. Some of the windows at the back of the apartment could do with a bit of TLC but not a big issue
- Lesley (8/5): Very good -
- Lucy (10/5): IOW perfection x - Wonderful stay, from arrival to exit, it was perfect. Nothing could’ve been better, 10/10.
- Croucher (8/5): Very good - Cosy comfortable apartment that was very clean and in a great location. We enjoyed our stay. Outside space needs some TLC.
- Robert (8/5): Very quiet and comfortable with helpful hosts, good TV and super decor and furnishings - Spacious, comfortable and the outdoor terrace Very minor suggestions, a new fridge freezer, just to look nicer, a new set of stairs to the outside.
- Jane (7/5): Convenient and quiet but a little basic - Location was excellent and we appreciated the space. Facilities were basic, particularly in the kitchen.
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (7/5): Good - Well kitted out Outside metal stairs
- Rose (10/5): excellent accommodation, highly recommended. - The location is very close to all local amenities, a local pub, cafes, fresh food stores, co-op, etc., and fabulous walks to get to nearby villages and beaches.
the apartment was spotless and spacious, with everything needed, on arrival Elaine and Bob supplied milk, tea coffee, and sugar, Elaine also brought us salt as it had run out. The bed was so clean and comfortable. the kitchen has everything you need in terms of cooking utensils, etc. I fell in love with the bathroom, the shower is just perfect. The living room is so comfy and the TV has basic Freeview stations, Netflix, and other streaming stations. We mainly watched Netflix or put on radio stations.
There is a lovely private patio area to sit and enjoy the weather and listen to the birds chirping away.
I highly recommend this apartment. the stairway to the flat is a bit steep, but we as pensioners and bad backs managed to get luggage up and down it.
Parking is available on the drive, if you have a long car like us you will need to maneuver the car to park at an angle so that you do not block the walkway. however, we perfected this after a few attempts on the first day.
- Alison (8/5): Very nice 😊 - Good location Stairs a bit steep
- Esmee (9/5): Superb - Thanks for the croissants and jam! Flat was a bit old - but superbly clean so not a problem at all!
- Donald (9/5): Perfect for a comfortable place to stay while exploring the Island. - The apartment was cosy, comfortable and convenient. The rooms were a good size, the bed was just the right softness and we liked the location. The outside is a little tired but inside was clean and suited us perfectly. The stairs are steep but it is private.
- Catherine (7/5): Good - Comfortable bed. Fresh milk tea and biscuits provided. the location wasn't perfect (for us), however we were there for personal family reasons rather than a holiday. Didn't like the look and feel of the local pub when we popped our heads in after a long day. That said, the amazing Crab & Lobster was excellent (best choice for 5 star pub food) - and only a quick drive away .
