Guest Reviews
- Jane (7/5): All in all, a lovely peaceful spot, within in reach of most places by bus or Shankes Pony. - The location was ideal, near the shop and family, whom we were visiting The housekeeping was lacking, the table cloths and mats were sticky, there was Silverfish in the bathroom (If you require evidence, have digital pictures, time, date etc, just request)
The Bath was a disappointment, after 8hours train travel we were all looking for to stretching out and relaxing in a hot bath! Either a full size bath with the fixed shower or the current short bath with a shower on a hose. A Bath rail would be handy as it is a fall hazard for those who may need a little help.
Some grip strip on the very slippery spiral staircase would also prevent any slip hazard and an optional privacy screen for upstairs, especially if it's adults staying. We also found cracked wine glass which had been shoved to the back of the cupboard.
PLEASE up date the Welcome Book, there are a lot of things that are just not relevant anymore.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Jenny (8/5): Very good - Really nice wee barn, lovely village location, nice to have a little bit of outside space. Lovely wee touch with the biscuits and apple juice, thank you we really appreciated. Nothing that I can think of.
- Jenny (7/5): Good - Spacious living area.
Nice furnishings.
Well equipped. Pokey bedroom.
Small bed that was a bit hard for me.
The bath is very awkward. A shower would be easier and more practical.
