Guest Reviews
- Rhiannon (10/5): Warm and cosy cottage with lots of lovely touches. - The location is lively. A small village with a lovely pub. But still close to beaches. Great walks from the cittage door. The main road. Traffic was noisy. But there wasn’t lots of traffic.

- Anita (10/5): - The cottage was stunningly beautiful!! Comfy, cozy, very well equiped, super dog friendly, (please make sure you watch your dog all the time though whilst out in garden, as you are close to a busy road and dogs can get under the gap of the gates if small enough)
nothing not to like, everything you ever need inside! And very romantic.
The owner is lovely and very friendly too,
Location is gorgeous, lots of pretty walks from your doorstep, and a big Lidls just up the road about 3 mins in the car.
The pub & the church down the road is WOW!.... Really pretty!!
Heacham beach just up the road with cafe and toilets,, but we go to Holkham beach 30 mins away as its a real picture postcard beach and super dog friendly. We absolutely loved our stay and im sure you will too....SO BOOK THIS STUNNING COTTAGE, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!! ??

- Neill (8/5): Very good - Attractive well presented property. Busy road.
- Mark (8/5): Good location and easy access to coast/locations for a short getaway. Lovely cottage with safe parking off-road. - Character, cosy, kitchen well appointed, location near to Hunstanton, Lidl close by Road runs alongside front of property, so in the stillness of early morning (from 4:30am) noisy trucks trucks and farm vehicles passing by, sometimes at speed despite 30mph zone.
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect. Well equipped, smelt divine, exceeded expectations x
- Andy (9/5): Short 3 night stay with family. Lovely house in a lovely village with local pub 2 mins walk away - Cottage style with log burner. Cleanliness. Owners very helpful
- Roslyn (9/5): Very relaxing. Just what we needed. We will return . - Location great. Very central to where we wished to visit. Instructions in concertina file. Slightly contradictory for bin day ( we didn’t know which was the updated sheet , one said Tues, other said Friday ).
Also check out time … 2 confirmation emails told me 10am, but sheet in file said 9am!
No coal was left for the fire. ( Instruction sheet told us there would be coal !) .
- Helen (10/5): Curlew cottage , the perfect location for nature lovers . - Really cosy cottage with all the facilities we would need and kept in good order. Tastefully decorated . Appreciated the Prosecco and crisps left by the host/ nice touch. Excellent location for lots of good birding and views of the sun setting over the sea. Our second visit and we will be back again. Nothing

Clean and had everything we needed . Good amount of parking at rear especially as we had 3 cars. Convenient for meal at the local pub.
- Diane (10/5): Excellent choice for a short break with easy access to RSPB sites and beaches - Good access to the coast and also inland.
House was well equipped and comfortable
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gautham (9/5): Lovely place for family. Superb hosts. Would defenitely revisit when we head back to Hunstanton. - Location: Our main destination was Huntstanton. However, there were plenty of other nearby locations to be explored. Curlew Cottage's location was perfect away from the touristy centre of Hunstanton with most places of interest in a few minutes' drive.
Facilities: The property is well furnished with everything for 4 people. There is WiFi with full coverage. The living room had comfortable sofas, a TV with Netflix, and Alexa for music. There was an OS map and plenty of leaflets with local information. Two bedrooms, with comfortable beds for two people in each. The kitchen had all the required equipment and we used most of them. There is a nice garden to spend time in. There is ample parking space.
Responsive hosts: We booked almost at the last minute, and that resulted in the property not being cleaned before we arrived. We rang the hosts when we saw that. They were quick to get that sorted with the cleaners and also arranged a supper and drinks at one of the nearby places while we had to wait for the property to be cleaned. We really appreciate their efficiency in sorting that situation out. The cottage was not cleaned after the previous guests. However, ours was a last-minute booking and the hosts quickly sorted it out with the cleaners. They also arranged supper and drinks in a nearby place while we waited for the cleaning to be completed. We really appreciate their efficiency in sorting that situation out.
- Simona (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect!
- Jacqui (10/5): Exceptional - Super comfy, lots of character and fab location.
Will be returning .
- Sarah (8/5): Very good - Lovely location, cottage really clean. Lovely little touches added very homely Didn't realise how close to the road it was located, quite a bit of traffic until late at night meaning couldn't have windows open due to noise when children were asleep.
- Susan (9/5): Enjoyed the stay, easy to find , excellent beds very comfortable and bedding excellent, garden a sun trap and very priva - Ideal location for visiting Norfolk within walking distance to the local pub, excellent food and very friendly. Lovely decor and had all the facilities we required.
This is one of the best places we have stayed and will certainly recommend and stay again. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property
The only very small issue we found was that numerous items of cutlery and plates and bowls had been put away and not cleaned properly, this wasn’t a problem though, I just rewashed them .
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional - It's a great cottage in an ideal location for lovely walks and beaches - fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need, including loads of information sheets and maps
- Carol (10/5): lovely quaint cottage. Very good location. Clean and well kitted out - Really lovely clean, cute cottage. Very good location for Sandringham, Lavendar world and a nice windmill and castle. Host is very attentive and helpful. Off street parking round the back.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Curlew Cottage is first class, quality accommodation., Communication was excellent from start to finish. Definitely recommend..
- Melanie (10/5): Beautiful welcoming cottage, in a great location. - Beautiful Cottage in perfect location for places we wanted to visit with our children.
