Guest Reviews
- Mary (1/5): No wifi. No towels. No gas on Christmas Eve. Stained mattress. - Following recent flooding the location was a quagmire Everything
- Darren (7/5): Good -
- Kiri (1/5): Bad - Nothing!!! Didn't stay here as owner had DOUBLE BOOKED and someone was already in the caravan. Drove 2hrs for him to tell me at 1.15pm to 'be patient' while he found out if the person had checked out early or not and if me and my two children had somewhere to stay. At 4.20 went to caravan to find someone still trying to clean it and there was dirt everywhere and he still expected me to wait till he has sorted it. Now fighting for a FULL REFUND as had no where to stay for the night!!
Shouldnt have to be fighting for a refund when this is the owners error! Want a FULL REFUND due to your double booking of the caravan!!
- Victoria (8/5): Lovely location, warm and spacious static caravan. The only issue we had was the kettle did not work. - Clean spacious warm The kettle did not work.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Simply perfect 👌
- Tatenda (8/5): The caravan is really lovely. Just the wifi & cold bedroom need sorting out. - The location was fab Wifi seemed very weak so kids couldnt access youtube.
Both bedrooms were so cold. Not sure if central heating wasnt working at all.
- Matthew (10/5): beautiful Lodge - beautiful nice clean and warm Lodge...
10 out of 10 would use again and again
love the place nothing
- Rachel (7/5): Good - Lovely caravan, with nice bedrooms. Advertised as 5 bed, sofa bed was supposed to be for two people but only really big enough for 1, so our teenager had to sleep on the floor. Also would have been useful to be given a map to prior to arrival showing where the caravan was.
- Metcalfe (8/5): A home away from home - Well decorated, great facilities and pretty close to the main venue. The caravan was clean and well presented, shower over the bath was an excellent added bonus. Beds in bedrooms were fantastic and very comfortable. Even had outside furniture. It felt like a small house rather than a caravan and I think that had very much to do with the homely touches. We brought our 9 week old baby with us and it was safe and clean for her to have tummy time on the carpet too. We will definitely look to book Langford when we return to Billing. Thank you for such a lovely stay! The fold out sofa mattress. Only a small moan, otherwise, nothing!
- Andy (7/5): Good -
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication and a beautiful caravan.. stunning lots of room and a great shower and bathroom 10 out of 10 would use again Nothing
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional - The van itself is lovely. So modern clean big n bright The steps outside we had to leave a day early as when it rained my daughter slipped on them and hurt herself really bad the van needs a diffrent way to enter them steps r dangerous
- Gill (8/5): All in all a great stay and lovely caravan - Lovely caravan with good quality furniture, great storage space Could have done with steps at the patio doors as the drop was quite dangerous, the doors were still smeared and hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival, the outside furniture could do with updating as was not in great condition
- Cherralyn (5/5): Passable -
- Kaleigh (8/5): Cosy enough, nice location, modern nice looking lodge - I liked the modern look & layout of the place I didn’t like that it didn’t have a decking area & that there was old furniture left outside & the steps felt steep especially going down them
- Kimberley (5/5): Mixed experience - Everything was in a walkable distance.
It was calm and quiet where we were located.
Wildlife was a hit with the child.
Host was contactable when there was a problem.
Beautifully furnished lodge. Office Staff were very rude due to it being booked through booking.com and not billing aquadromes website.
I was chasing how to check in whilst sat in a bay outside reception as the staff did not want to help due to it being a booking through another site.
Hidden entertainment fees of 5 pound per person per day to access Anything made it dearer than expected.
They said it was a 25 pound charge if we wanted to use the car on their site.
We found rubbish under the beds, dirty pans in the cupboards when it came to cooking and only 2 forks in the cutlery. We were provided one bath towel and 2 hand towels for 3 adults and a child.
A leak from the bathroom into the bedroom meant we couldn't all shower and we ended up leaving early - an apology was provided and the offer to turn the water off.
- Pippi (10/5): I loved it here nice camp and nice staff really good with disabilities - Spacious and spotless N/a
- James (2/5): Poor service - The location was good, lots and lots of building work but it is looking like it will turn out great eventually. No house number and no lock box code provided via booking.com app or email, useful check in details absent. Only had a post code and model name of lodge. See more below:
Multiple Langford lodges, and we weren't made aware of this before we went. Weren't made aware it was on a well known holiday site either, which would have made finding it at least a little easier. The security staff at barriers were of no help at all, they all had no idea.
We tried calling owners multiple times because of the above, took ages to get a response. We were driving around in circles. The first response we got was telling us to get in touch with someone else, which then also took a long time to get an answer.
Booked for 5, only 1 towel provided.
Found wrappers from previous people staying.
Leaky bathroom.
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - It was so clean and comfortable and plenty of space would love to stay again There was a small nest of ants on the work top which I cleaned and got rid of
- Stephanie (6/5): We had a nice time, none of the entertainment was open, no mini golf, no amusements which the children were disappointed - Lovely lounge, well decorated and comfortable. Kitchen was clean and had all we needed. It was nice to have a bigger bathroom with a bath something you don’t usually get in a caravan. The bed linen needed to be cleaner and it seemed like old bed sheets were used. Some pillows were uncomfortable, and there needed some finishing touches in the bedrooms. We had ants most evening in the lounge/kitchen. The grass at the front of caravan was very awkward with continuous mud on shoes as lots of machinery outside all day. There needs to be some sort of path leading up to the steps to make it easier to access.
- Tracey (5/5): Passable -
- Nicki (10/5): Great weekend with the family and the property made it extra great - Property was perfect , great location lots to do on site, the lodge was brand new it was like a home, even had a huge bath in a beautiful bathroom, great value for money and the staff were great and so helpful we will definitely return again, the bed was so comfy too! Absolutely nothing
- Rachel (10/5): A lovely cosy night away, and fun day out! - Langford Lodge is a really lovely space, clean, cosy, and welcoming. The Billing Aquadrome park was a lot of fun, and lots to do to keep us entertained!
The owner and her business partner Paul were very helpful throughout the stay. There were a couple of things we needed that weren’t initially provided in the lodge (towels and corkscrew), however Paul brought us some immediately so it was no trouble at all!
- Chloe (9/5): Superb -
