• Peggy (9/5): Great stay, lovely apartment - The apartment is beautiful, it's really clean and airy and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The owner was great, really good communication and agreed for us to have a parking permit earlier than check in time so we could drop the car off before going for lunch. We managed to get a space right outside the apartment! The apartment is really spacious. The bathroom is lovely, very clean and a great shower! I would definitely recommend this apartment, it's so close to town and the theatre. I slept in the lounge on the sofa bed which was really comfortable but I hadn't anticipated the road noise and people walking past late after being out so I would recommend taking earplugs if you plan to use the sofa bed. My daughter slept in the bedroom and had no noise as it's at the back of the apartment and she said the bed was very comfortable.

• Jill (9/5): Great apartment for a visit to Cheltenham - Very nice apartment a few minutes walk from the shops and theatre. Tavion was a very good host, quick to respond to messages, and offered to extend the parking permit to lunchtime on our last day. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. Highly recommended.

Parking was difficult to get near to the apartment. I had to drive round and round the block for a good half an hour before securing a place near to apartment. This isn't hosts fault.. Apartment was cold on arrival. Would have been good for heating to have already been put on prior.

Modern facilities and CLEAN!!! A working strong shower which we loved. I stayed with my 2 kids and it was so spacious That i didn't stay longer!

Host was extremely accommodating, our friends travelled down with us but was staying with other friends overnight but unfortunately one of their friends were poorly so they could t stay with them. I quickly contacted the host who stated they could stay at Montrose Lodge and just paid the extra. N/A

• Jason (9/5): Large and tidy place to stay - It's a full apartment, with plenty of room, and looks recently renovated. All very clean and tidy. Communication with the host was timely and clear. There was no blackout curtain in the bedroom, just a thin thing that lets the light through. I also heard someone clomping around upstairs (since you're in the basement room), fortunately not all the time because it would have been quite bothersome.

• David (10/5): Want a stay in Cheltenham? Look no further... - Basically - everything! The comms were super throughout and were especially helpful with regard to location, parking, check-in, etc. Despite being central, the apartment was extremely quiet and we found our time there relaxing. The apartment was spotless, very well equipped and tastefully appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent and easy to use. Overall, we had a super stay and intend to return later rhis summer. We were disappointed that, despite trying hard, we couldn't locate the herds of ants and other pests, rolls of fluff, filth and hair highlighted by a recent reviewer.🤣😂 The cleaner had done her job wonderfully...
• Robyn (10/5): Exceptional - We loved how close this property was to Cheltenham centre. It was a 5 minute walk, if that! The interior was decorated beautifully! The host was great with communication. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in Cheltenham.
• Sarka (2/5): Not for me, could improve - Good communication with the owner, clear instructions, easy to find. The flat is very central, few steps away from restaurants and shops. We appreciated left oil, salt, pepper, sugar etc. The flat is spacious, fairly newly refurbished. Incredibly dirty to my standards. Please sack the cleaner.. It wasn't hoovered between guests, hairs of all origins, food droppings, dead and alive ants, dirty skirting boards and dusty areas everywhere. It is a basement flat and sadly it has got moisture, leaks issues, but I guess it would be a big job to correct. Noise levels are manageable but you can hear movements from upstairs, dog barking and howling sometimes, drums practicing and loud music from somewhere in the evening sending you to sleep... You need a degree in wizardry to operate the hob and dishwasher.

• Colin (8/5): Luxury and great location - Excellent little apartment and whilst a very quiet location, it's also walking distance to anywhere. For me , I ended up being solo so was pricey...but great for a small family or 2 couples.
• Lea (10/5): We had a perfect get away for the weekend and it was everything we wanted! - The owners of the property messaged me days before my visit and gave me all the relevant details needed for my stay such as where to park, key access codes, wifi password etc so I felt confidence that there would be zero stress on my arrival. There was zero trouble when I arrived, we parked and accessed the keys and property easily. The flat was PERFECT! Modern, clean, very comfortable and had the cutest decor. Location was good, a corner shop within a 3 minute walk and a 5-10 minute walk into Cheltenham town centre. It was everything we wanted and more. I think the property could of had some prosecco glasses but this was ridiculously minor of an issue, if an issue at all. We just used wine glasses and it was fine!
• Kit (10/5): Overall, it was perfect for my needs and Tavion was a great host. - I stayed at Montrose Lodge for two nights and could not have been happier with my choice of accommodation. The location was perfect, being only a few minutes' walk from Cheltenham town centre. It was so helpful to have the parking permit and I was able to park very near the apartment. All details and helpful instructions were sent to me a couple of days before my trip so I felt well-prepared. Being a lone female traveller, I needed to feel safe and confident that everything would be as I expected, which turned out to be the case. The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable with everything I needed.

The location is amazing, it’s literally a 2 minute walk into the town centre where all the shops, bars and restaurants are. It comes with a parking permit too. Tavion the host was very helpful and extended the permit on the day of arrival and departure. His communication was excellent and all details were given prior to arrival. I’d booked the apartment for a surprise for my partners birthday and he was very impressed! The kitchen had everything for fully functional kitchen, there was tea, coffee etc, and the bathroom was well stocked too. Absolutely lovely stay and would definitely recommend! 10/10

• Mary (9/5): Fabulous place in a central location. - Tave was the perfect host, and he communicated everything needed for the stay prior to our visit. Ensured that we had the parking permit valid as we arrived in Cheltenham earlier. My son slept on the sofa bed, which was adequate for comfort. It's super easy to put up, though. Wish we'd taken milk for the tea and coffee, but there is a sainsbury close by.
• Peter (9/5): Loved having a modern, fresh, whole apartment so three adults were comfortable. - Great location for walking into town. Great that parking permit was arranged and we could park on road outside. Recently updated with lovely kitchen and shower room and bedroom. Although. Basement flat, there was plenty of light. Allowed dogs at no extra charge- a real bonus when considering overall cost v hotels. The TV signal and Wi-Fi was intermittent so we had to not use the tv. Signed into our Amazon account, but kept buffering. The sofa bed was a single (the sofa pulled out from underneath and needed the back cushions for that half the bed which made the bed uneven and would not be suitable to sleep on. (Suggestion: Maybe a double mattress topper would help)
