Los anfitriones fueron en todo momento muy acogedores, amables y atentos, siempre pendientes de que no nos faltara nada y de que estuviéramos cómodas. La vivienda estaba en perfectas condiciones, limpia y bien equipada. La zona es muy agradable, con magníficas vistas y una terraza ideal para relajarse. La cama de matrimonio era especialmente cómoda, mientras que las camas individuales, algo más pequeñas, resultan más adecuadas para niños. Como único aspecto a mejorar, podría incluirse algo más de menaje y cubertería. Por lo demás, todo fue perfecto. En resumen, hemos quedado muy satisfechas con la casa y con la atención recibida. • Alejandra (10/5): Charming and authentic Tuscan village life! Hard to say goodbye. - This is the vacation stay in Tuscany that you dream about! Our family went to Verni with a special purpose, to learn about our ancestors who lived there in the 1800’s. That was a dream come through. We also wanted to visit local attractions and nearby tuscan cities. Florence looks really expensive and crowded. So we chose Casa Butterfly- a beautiful home in a medieval village of Verni, with mountain views and solitude. We had a rental car so we used this retreat as home base and drove to Pisa, Lucca, and the beach- each trip took about an hour. Then to Florence and another day to Cinque Terre- a bit over 2 hours driving. But the best days were just spent exploring the charming local towns, the monastery and the Cave of the Winds. Verni also has a local restaurant where you can seat and relax enjoying delicious homemade pasta dishes al fresco, and share time with the local community. They make you feel at home. The house is spotless, and well furnished with 2 bedrooms/ 1 double bed and two single beds. Small bathroom- clean and modern. Casa Butterfly was affordable so we could spend nine days cooling off up here. We are a family of 4 with two teen sons. It was hard for all of us to say goodbye. It’s out of the way but that was a plus. The narrow roads leading up and down here might require you to drive slow if you are not use to it. Our hostess Patricia was SO gracious and helpful, and all the details were easy. Google translate is a good tool to have handy to help with communication if you don’t speak Italian.
• Błażej (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice hosts, they were waiting for us to welcome us. The house is beautifully situated with a view from the garden on Pania della Croce. The house is fully equipped, you have everything you need. Peace and quiet. The perfect place to relax. Do your shopping before you arrive in the town downstairs there is a large supermarket.
