- Jackie (8/5): Comfortable spacious apartment in a great location, perfect for my needs. - Location was great. Apartment was spacious. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequately equipped for cooking. The layout of the big bedroom was odd. The bed located in the doorway with no door was not private. It should not be advertised as a two bedroom without mentioning this. It made for an awkward shared space with a coworker but I could see it could be good for families maybe. I was also surprised that there was no microwave in the kitchen.

- Kent (9/5): Clean, comfortable, great location. - Communication was very good, any issues were resolved quickly, the place was clean and the bed was excellent. Getting into the space was easy and the location was great for enjoying Little Italy. F1 weekend pricing was extremely high.
- Shingai (10/5): Great stay! Apart from the addition security deposit issue, I hope to stay here again. - Fantastic! That someone can have remote access to opening the front property door is not secure.

- Laurie (10/5): If you love exploring the many shops, markets, and eateries in the city, this spot is perfect. - This spot is very close to our son and daughter-in-law’s apartment and the location is excellent for our needs. We walk to the Plateau neighborhood and love staying close to Little Italy as well. It’s a place we have used before and will use again. We live in a city ourselves, so the neighborhood noises are not one bit bothersome (which I only mention because you provide earplugs for those who need a very quiet spot. The bed is very comfortable. We are knuckleheads and needed help getting into our unit. The woman we spoke with was so kind and patient with us as we fumbled our way through the very simple process!! I f I'm being super picky, I personally love having a towel for my hair and a second towel to dry off, but it was just fine with one towel.

- Gilles (10/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix pour Montréal à proximité de toutes les commodités - Très bien placé au calme mais dans un quartier animé.
Bus et métro à proximité.
Propre et bien équipé Pas de micro onde
- Ferdos (7/5): Expensive for the quality and size of apartment - Good location in terms of livelihood only.
Kitchen with appliances. Very difficult to find a parking spot! And if you find a place in the street to park, very expensive! In that street and around only from 9 pm to 9 am you could park for free but if find any place to park!
Very expensive for the quality and size of the apartment!
Equipments in the apartment could have been more especially in the bathroom and bedroom.
- Elizabeth (10/5): EXCEPTIONAL!!! - It’s the exact thing in the picture you see in person. Lovely facilities. Very fast response from property by message. Friendly staff and beautiful environment.
- Arun (9/5): Superb -
- Feuza (10/5): Spacious & Great location - Den Stays exceeded my expectation! It was more spacious than I thought then surprised in the fridge, comfortable bed and shower! Plus you can't beat the location. I loved the living room area and desk. Would totally stay again. Bathroom light was a bit dark for make up and bedroom didn't have AC or it did and I didn't have time to check how to make that work etc.
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zankhana (7/5): Good -
- Poorteman (9/5): Superb - It was clean and the staff are always available when you reach out
- Gilbert (8/5): Very good -
- Gina (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (10/5): Perfect - Nice condo, perfect location N/A
- William (8/5): Great value accommodation in Little Italy - Convenient location near our son. Easy check in and out. Spacious. Good public transport. Plus all the little necessities of kitchen and bathroom are provided for you on arrival. Nothing of any significance. A minor concern was what we would do with our luggage on the final day as there was an eight hour gap between check out time and going to the airport. The accommodation team helpfully provided secure storage for some but not all of that time. So we ended up at the airport more than four hours before our flight.
- Henrique (9/5): Spacious and good, I would book again. - Spacious (bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom), great cost-benefit. I thought it was closer to the metro stations. It was about 10-15 min walk from them.
- Bastiaan (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Binit (7/5): Good -
- Martin (1/5): Bad - I couldn't reach a human to get support. I was not given the procedure and the access code to get in the room. I tried to reach someone 4 times, hit a voicemail everytime... it was 10PM... I finally found another hotel 30 min from there who gently answered my phone call...
One of the worst experience I've had booking a room.
- Wen (6/5): Overall is good! Just some minor annoyances. - The lot is great. Good security. Maintained well. 1. Bedroom light switch is behind the door.
2. Shower only covered half with a glass swing door and block the access to the hand soap.
3. The bathroom light and fan are one switch. Can’t turn on the light without the fan. Too much noise from the fan!
- Shakun (9/5): It was worth the price. We loved the place. - The location, very well connected to metro & bus line. The place itself had lots of restaurants/ pizza places and it is next to the Marché Jean Talon.
The staff are very responsive. No microwave
- Maria-paula (7/5): Good - Clean, spacious, good host communication.
Closed bedroom faced the back so it was quiet. Not having a microwave was really annoying. And it's silly because it's cheap, needs only a few minutes to install, and there's plenty of space for it. I'm sure reviews will improve once the microwave is installed, as travelers would rather pick up prepared food that needs to be rewarmed than use pots and pans.
Also could use mats at the entrance for boots.
- Fanfan (9/5): If can use the same property in the spring or summer, I will be happy. - Very clean and spacious. Nothing that I can think of.
- Perrine (6/5): Overpriced for quality - Central location
Comfortable bed It is as if the apartment was at the step before it can be put up for accommodation, unfinished, bare.
It is not serviced, but not enough provisions are made for guests.
Not enough towels, very few hangers, no drawers, nothing to clean the apartment, no dishwasher but no rack to place hand cleaned dishes, no microwave, no handsoap in kitchen or bathroom, an iron provided but no ironing board, no full length mirror.
Furthermore, the apartment does not look like the photos as only a few shots from each apartment are given which gives a skewed idea of what you will actually have, and it is poorly insonorised, you will hear your upstairs neighbours clumping about all the time and any conversation your floor neighbours have.
There is excessive automated communication that is unclear and not pertinent, which added to the external platform you have to access before check-in makes the process to understand all information a hassle. Yet, communication with actual customer service is inconsistent and not followed through.
- Amie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything That I had to go home
- Scott (8/5): Great place to stay in the heart of little Italy. - Close to many great restaurants, Jean Talon market, bakeries and the Metro was within walking distance. Facilities to cook if you wanted to. Minor complaint with the bed being a bit soft for my liking but not bad enough that I wouldn’t stay there again.
- Julius (8/5): Clean modern place in a fun neighbourhood - The location was great: great neighbourhood and our unit was facing the quiet side overlooking the alley. Good amount of space, well equipped. The price could/should be 10-20% lower.
- Onbargi (7/5): Good - Great location. Check-in was easy and had no problems getting into the building and my unit. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Netflix was a really nice plus! Easy check-out process as well. I wish the booking had a more accurate picture of the apartment because I was expecting a balcony or street-facing window but the apartment I actually booked was different (no balcony and windows faced the alleyway).
- Alenka (9/5): Great value apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. - Location was great, lots of small restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, food stores in the area. Local transportation is nearby and uber works well. The hosts were responsive. The apartment is minimalistic, but had all we needed. Nothing much.
- Julia (8/5): Bright apartment complex right in Little Italy - Bright, spacious apartment right in the middle of little Italy. It has a kitchen where you can find everything needed if you want to dine in, living room area, bed room and bathroom. Everything is kept clean and simple. The location was great for us, public transport is around the corner, lots of cafes and restaurants close by.
Communication was friendly and quick, access to apartment easy. We were there before official check in time (code won’t work) but were able to get into the apartment an hour before. If you travel with the car, be aware that to park the car longer than a few hours, you’ll need to be able to download an app (we couldn’t as we had data only and App Store didn’t recognize the app) to renew the parking ticket. In person at the machine is also possible but not handy if you’re out exploring.
To make communication and check in even easier, we’d suggest sending all information about the apartment (floor, door code, apartment code, wifi etc) in one message rather than sending messages back and forth.
The little balcony isn’t really to sit outside, nice to be able to open up doors. Having said that, there were a few things still laying there, and old sock, food from a previous tenant, worth cleaning there too for a friendlier look.
- M (8/5): Short few days of tourism in Montreal - Hotel Laurence is located right in the middle of Little Italy, this was a wonderful location from which to explore both the local area and Montreal itself. The appartement was very clean and comfortable, just a little sterile, some cushions, a few posters on the walls would have brightened it up considerably.
- George (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (9/5): Bright, beautiful, calm space in fantastic Little Italy neighbourhood. - Beautiful, bright, clean, spacious, simple/clean/beautiful design. Easy to access. Quiet. Lots of steps to complete booking, including what felt like multiple ID verifications on various platforms, additional costs like mandatory insurance outside of the Booking.com platform.
- Laurie (10/5): Perfect location, fabulous space—we hope to be back soon! - We have family who live in Little Italy—a short walk away—we were able to walk EVERYWHERE we wanted to go. The Jean Talon market is amazing. We pub crawled and ate fantastic foods, had morning coffees and teas, spent time in the nearby park, checked out the shops— it was great!
The apartment was a lovely place to “come home” to. I didn’t know how to use the air conditioner, but once my son stopped over, he showed me and we were nice and cool. We will stay here again and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. The kitchen was more than we needed this visit, but it has everything a person could hope for.
We had a problem using the code to get into the apartment, but a quick call to the number provided and a reset had us in within a minute! 🙂 I don’t have an A/C unit like the one in the apartment, and didn’t understand how to get it set up. If there was some simple instructions on a sheet, it would have helped.
