0% recomendado

- D (1/5): This guesthouse is a disaster - The bed was pretty comfortable This is the noisiest place I've ever stayed in Colombia. It's located next to a bar that plays loud music every day and night. The street outside is full of drunks who stagger around yelling at each other until the early morning. There are huge trucks that come down the street at all hours of the night and the guesthouse is in the path of airplanes landing at El Dorado. There are dogs inside of the house that bark frequently. There is also a small textile factory in the back room of the guesthouse (I'm not joking) which is quite noisy. It is often so loud inside the room that you can't even have a conversation--forget about making phone calls.
The bathroom is a disaster. There is a single bathroom with one sink, one toilet, and one shower that is shared between three different rooms with about 6 guests total, so the bathroom is always occupied (especially in the morning when you have to wait for an hour to use it) and it is usually dirty. They do not refill toilet paper and paper towels when they run out. When we arrived there was no toilet paper and for several days there were no paper towels to dry hands. The toilet clogs frequently and there is no way to unclog it. There is very little water that comes out of the faucet. Sometimes there is no hot water in the shower. There is black mold on the walls of the shower. We stayed for 5 days and they gave us 1 small bar of soap and 1 towel each to last the whole time; they never gave any more. We had to buy our own toilet paper and other supplies for the bathroom.
The neighborhood is very bad. We saw drug addicts using drugs on the street nearby as well as drunks vomiting in public even in the daytime. The guesthouse is on a street with multiple bars so there are always drunks outside by the front door. And the guesthouse does not give you a key to get inside.
- Batista (10/5): Amazing Experience - The staff welcomed us very sweetly and treated us like family. The room was big and comfortable and was an amazing value for the price. They were also very generous with their coffee and kitchen amenities. The location did not have many trees, but there were a few parks nearby and the botanical garden is just a 20 minute walk away and is so worth the trip.
