Nous sommes arrivés dans l'après-midi, ils nous ont préparé un petit goûter avec des mets typiques c'était savoureux et vraiment adorable. Kannan a amené mes enfants et mon compagnon à la plage et le soir sa femme nous a préparé un repas spontanément. Le lendemain, nous avons eu un superbe petit déjeuner ! Vraiment une famille adorable, accueillante, et authentique. Cela a rendu notre nuitée encore plus incroyable avec ce partage humain... Merci à eux du fond du coeur ! Rien !

• Darna (10/5): At home in Kerala - From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were surrounded with such warmth and friendliness, we immediately felt at home. We had a big room with an attached bathroom, a balcony tea and coffee on request. The food was amazing, real home cooking. But the conversations, the jokes and laughter together were what made our stay a 20 star experience. If you want a 5 star hotel with staff don't come here. But if you want to experience Keralan hospitality at its best, this is the place for you. Wolfi, Kanan and Suritha we wish we could have stayed longer. If we come your way again we won't hesitate to look you up. We came as strangers and left as friends. Thank you for everything. That we couldn't stay longer
• Janneke Hindriksen (10/5): A fantastic opportunity to experience a true warm authentic homestay. - As cyclists, we chose the Heinrich Wolfi Heritage Inn because it is conveniently located between Munroe Island and Allapuzha. We did not expect to leave the next day fully energised but we were. What a good choice! The family is lovely, we ate fantastically well, the room was spacious, AC worked well and I always like staying in a ground floor room as we carry a lot of luggage on the bicycle. Our clothes were washed in a washing machine and we could get tea and coffee whenever we wanted. Thank you so much for having us and the opportunity to meet you all. This is not a hotel, it is Wolfi, Kannan and Suritha's home, they welcome you into it. They deserve to be treated with respect for their kind hospitality.l Nothing

The hosts took us by car to local attractions and the rooms were lovely and clean. Highly recommend. Absolutely nothing. Kunnan and his wife are great people.

• Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Kannan and his family are simply delightful, taking a personal interest in every guest. It's still a new venture, so as yet there's no sign out on the road, and you will have to call for final directions when you arrive at thenearestintersection. But they are kind and gracious, in addition to which they serve delicious meals (which is helpful because dining options in the immediate vicinity are limited). Also, the location is somewhat remote, which is a significant plus if you want to avoid tourist areas and experience the life of ordinary Indians on the Malabar Coast. Nothing to speak of, although you will need to bring your own towels.
• Peter (10/5): A VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE - A VERY pleasant surprise, my host Kannan picked me up from Kayankulam station and drove though beautiful,quiet, cool palm shaded countryside to the family home only 100m from the beach. Village atmosphere, family friendliness and the most delicious Keralan food I have tasted made this one of my top 10 travel experiences of the last 40 years. Roomwas cleanspacious and simple with attached bathroom. You don't have to goback into town for anything. There are little stores that sell everything, small restaurants along the seafront even an icecream shop and a tattooist. Plenty to seein the area; temples, canal boating, fishing, bicycling, Krishna palace and lots of soothing nature. Best place for a relaxing break and low key cultural immersion at the same time. Next time I will stay for 2 weeks. Nil

• Adrian (6/5): A very friendly work in progress - The food was superb. Communication excellent. Kannan and family are working hard to provide a genuine homestay experience. They were always available and the short trip in his car around the area and to visit friends was really appreciated. The family is extremely friendly. Kannan generously arranged transport to and from the station. Wolfi the son speaks excellent English and Kannan is also chatty and sharing of ideas and information. This is an area of local communities and is untouristed. The location is not ideal although the proximity to Ammachi’s Ashram is handy. There is no usable beach and only one very basic shop nearby. That said. Kannan is open to suggestions as he gets this business going. We had to request a towel and toilet paper. Being more proactive and arranging some bikes for hire would be a good idea for example. This is not to say that we were ungrateful for the work the family is doing to get things up and running. With some adjustments this will be a very good destination for people looking for an authentic homestay experience.

The family are so immersive into their culture and willing to make you feel instantly at home. The room was comfortable, food was DELICIOUS and location was good for having a more chill experience. • Abhinav (10/5): We can stay here for mind relaxation and for happiness it is the best place - We stayed here for 3 days and it was an incredibly memorable experience, feeling just like we were staying in our own home. This homestay provided us with a truly wonderful experience, making us feel like one of the family members. This was our first and excellent experience, with the rooms being impeccably clean. The food was delicious, and they took great care of us. We felt extremely peaceful and happy, and I definitely plan to stay here again. Nothing

• Avinash (5/5): Fiar but not good - Owner are very kind hearted person and helpful and there young Kid Wolfie smart kid... The location is very dam far from city, and you won't get anything to buy or eat nearby, you have to travel minimum 3 kms to find a restaurant to get food. Will suggest to get a Room nearby railway stn for better option and if you don't want any city sound then this property is good for you but still food options is very limited. You have to be dependent on Swiggy and Zomato.
• Af1113 (7/5): Rural with amenities & great food - Kind & hospitable family-run homestay. Clean bathroom, smallish a/c room but good bed, wifi, really delicious home cooked keralan food, peaceful leafy village area, helpful hosts. Take your own toiletries, mosquito stuff, maybe earplugs as no shopping nearby.
