Everything you could possibly need and more was in the annexe, absolutely beautifully designed & spotless was even left a lovely hamper which was a lovely touch, then out to the garden omg loungers tables and chairs so peacful then meet daisy & dapple the geese we are only sorry we never got to meet Helena & Tony but we are hoping to book for a couple of days in August but can see there's limited availability which is no surprise. The best place we have stayed in by far need to visit to appreciate this annexe

• Shaun (10/5): What a beautiful and comfortable property! - We stayed for a last-minute two night stay at Owlhoot Annexe and loved it so much we've already booked a return stay next year! We stay in a lot of rentals both in the UK and abroad and this is one of the best! It is so comfortable and well equipped with many great touches and wow what a welcome basket! We loved watching the wildlife and the two geese in the garden and cannot wait to be able to sit outside next time! Nothing!

I enjoyed the extra space, the garden, the excellent facilities including washing machine and dryer (very important for travellers). I also appreciated the welcoming basket. There's a local pub nearby serving decent meals and also a convenience store. I was happy with everything.

It was exactly what we nee - All the amenities and attention to detail, the owl decor, the personal touches in tbe bedroom & bathroom, amazing choice of teas and coffee, and the unexpected food hamper. And of course the owl. No hooks or coat stand for hanging up coats in the living room. I would have liked info on the owl (unless i missed it in the visitors services book) ie species, age, sex, background

• William (10/5): Excellence - The Owlhoot Annexe is by far the best accommodation we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We have stayed in many places around the world. Helena and Tony are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble and the place is simply outstanding. We will stay there again.

Helena and Tony provided a generous welcome pack including bread, milk, eggs, prosecco and more! Out of the window we could see Benny the owl, geese, a robin and a visiting squirrel.
