The property was filthy, and the window looking from the kitchen to the master bedroom made it not fit for purpose. Neither Booking.com or the property would offer a refund despite evidence as “only the property can authorise a refund and they are not responding to us”. Absolutely everything. We didn’t stay. • Murray (4/5): - The apartment was very well laid out The apartment wasn't clean, the shower had stains all over it, there were cobwebs in the main bedroom on the ceiling and a fair few spiders. The bedside table had dust all over it, the oven needed cleaning. The bed was very noisy when you turned over.

• Joe (4/5): Would NOT stay again, - The location was good. The sofa was comfortable. The shower was good. There was bedding for three (one double and one single) but the dining table was tiny and only had two chairs. The bathroom sink was badly positioned and squeezed in; it is obvious nobody looked at the set up in practical terms. There was no Welcome Pack (like you get with properties let by Cottages.Com) telling us about local amenities like shops, pubs, cinemas, and no instruction manuals for any of the hardware: there was NO hot water in either the kitchen or bathroom sinks, and without instructions for the heating unit we were unable to sort it out. Finally, the property managers were ridiculously inflexible about check-in times. We travelled from London, got there early, but were told no entry before 3pm. Luckily, there were two men changing the locks on the apartment when we arrived, and they let us in when they were finished.

• Louise (1/5): Extremely short, disappointing and filthy. - Not one thing was positive about the property. Please do not book this property. The property was dirty; public hair, white questionable stains. The shower was covered in general dirt. The hallway has a strong odour of animals and urine. There were multiple alive and dead spiders. “Curtains” were shower curtains held up by a tiny voile pole and nails. There were dead moths (3on one windowsill alone) White questionable stains on the furniture and shower glass. The rim of the washing machine was mouldy and black. There were woodlice in the lights. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Bedroom looks out on an abandoned piece of “land”. Massively overgrown and graffiti building as “view” We only stayed here an hour and left. We have contacted the property with our concerns, to be told it was “deep cleaned” and “perfect” upon our arrival; I would not like to see the property not “deep cleaned”. Online pictures are deceiving. Contacted the property with our concerns; they refused a refund despite only being in the property an hour and leaving. Property has also not even responded to booking.com and has refused any refunds or contact with them. Despite having multiple pictures and videos as evidence, booking.com have also refused a full refund and compensation as they stated they are unable to do this. Please do not waste or lose your money! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. We are £100 down and this property is not fit for purpose and is still being advertised by booking.com The attached pictures are only 4 of 15+ images which I wish I could share also.
• Kyra (5/5): Passable - The flat has been renovated nicely. En suite toilet needs attention. Lack of natural light. Location not very good. Only one shop in walking distance.
• Rhiannon (1/5): Would not recommend - Nothing I’m afraid Very disappointed with this booking. We had a call on the way to the property saying that the previous guests had trashed the property so they were ‘upgrading’ us to a property in Warrington. An inconvenience in itself as it was further from our weekend event but we had no choice after driving for 4 hours from the South coast. The property was absolutely filthy, and everything in the kitchen had to be washed prior to being used, the shower didn’t work properly, it cycled from too hot to stand under to freezing cold, the seal around the shower was filthy, it was brown it was so dirty. The mirror was cloudy from being wiped with a dirty cloth, the tap in the bathroom leaked and I found hairs around the property. It was extremely noisy from local drunk people and I hardly slept. If this was an upgrade I dread to think how awful the original booking would have been. I am not happy paying £191 for a 2 night stay in such bad conditions.
