- Subhajyoti (4/5): Bare minimum space to stay - The Location was very near to the aldgate east
And the bathroom was neat and clean and spacious. , The location though nearby to underground station but its not that pleasant, the room was a basement room with very minimal space, hardly a 7"-5" room. . But have stayed in better places around London. Wont be considering for the next time.
- Mandy (2/5): Very poor - Nothing as the pictures were not as what was showed. Alley way was full of rubbish. Could not get into my room as per code that was given. Room was hot and stuffy. Close to food options.
Moving on to my next accommodation.
- Nathaly (7/5): Good - The location is good. The entrance of the building is at alley that is very dark at night. Is a bit scaring but was okay at the same time

- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing - Clean room When we arrived someone was in our room .
- Ahmed (4/5): Disappointing - good good
- Spike (8/5): Surprising clean and comfortable - The property was surprisingly clean. The mattress and bedding were all very comfortable. The air conditioning was working great. Complimentary chocolates were at the bedside, and fresh towels were provided. The shared toilet and shower area was clean and tidy. The entire property appeared to have been recently renovated to a good standard. NOISE. The walls are very thin plasterboard with no sound insulation. You can hear noise from all directions, and the person snoring next door. The sink in the bathroom was also blocked, so it was not usable. The shower water pressure was low, and it was also indicating this as an error. Roku TV wasn't working, possibly due to a poor internet connection or WiFi signal.
- Geoffrey (6/5): Pleasant -
- Giulia (5/5): Disappointing - The room had a fan, which was definitely useful given it had no window. The place itself was easy to find, thanks to the clear instructions provided before check-in. The room was a small, windowless space—which made me feel quite claustrophobic. It would have been helpful to know this detail before booking.
While the toilet appeared new, it wasn’t particularly clean, and there was no dry surface available to place my toiletry items apart from the wet, unclean sink. Additionally, my room lacked a mirror, which made it impossible to get ready inside.

- Eoin (1/5): Prison Cell - Location Staff completely unhelpful in terms of checking in.
Room was way too hot, nattress was like concrete. Prison cell be more comfortable
- Jordana (10/5): AIRCON, cheap and clean !!! - Clean, AIRCON, 1 minute walk to train station / 10 min walk to major train station. Nothing to complain about
- Wick (9/5): Superb -
- Rob (8/5): Very good - Great location. Ideal spot to stay for a night or two would recommend and I will stay again.
- Rehan (3/5): Bad - Locations Noise level, I couldn’t sleep well. Was meant to have good sleep because of important work couldn’t have at all.
- Anonymous (4/5): Great hotel for the price but not really clean - Great location and cheap price for a short stay Really dirty bathroom and the shower temperature was burning and hard to adjust
The entrance of the hotel is in a small
alley, kind of scary if you come home at night

- Lox (6/5): Pleasant -
- Goni (10/5): Exceptional - Atmosphere was very good and cleaned
- Murray (9/5): Superb - Location, cleanliness, checkin system They did not confirm my booking
- Shaun (7/5): Good - The location was excellent, and my room and shower/ toilet were nice and clean. Room was very small and had no windows. But for the price and location I was happy.
- Axelle (4/5): Not recommended if you’re claustrophobic- no one single windows in the whole hotel - The hotel has a good location Bathrooms are shared, so bring flip-flops. The staff was fine. ,m the rooms are tiny — barely the size of a single bed — with no windows and a strong smell of damp. They try to cover it with air fresheners, but the mix of humidity and cleaning product is overwhelming, and it sticks to your clothes. no windows and a strong smell of damp. - Kris (8/5): Very good - Very clean but the outback not too clean I like everything
- Kevin (9/5): Really enjoyed the stay, no problem sharing a bathroom, very cheap as well..will stay here again. - Location to Aldgate East tube was literally over the road...plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The entrance is down an alleyway, but it's next to a restaurant and staff are always outside and it's well lit.
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - None - burning hot shower water
- couldn’t enter in my room and had to pick the room that is opened.
- had to take all my stuff even if I stayed 2 nights cause no locked up

- Nili (6/5): I did get up really tired… - The location was perfect I felt claustrophobic because there were not a windows in the room, also I could hear the noise from the tub and I had a feeling that the bedding wasn’t changed…
- Peter (7/5): Okay but read reviews - Clean, close to Underground Only 1 bathroom between 5 rooms but shower and toilet are in the same room which is not very good. A separate toilet would have been better.
Some of the other guests were inconsiderate to the rest of us playing loud music and partying until the early hours. Soundproofing is not good at all. I’m glad I took earplugs after reading previous reviews.
- Roderick (7/5): Good value, but could be noisy - Location is really good (though down a weird alley) the bed was comfortable, and the room looked nice. Only one bathroom
Hotel is unmanned meaning no one to control the noise, the guests upstairs were partying playing loud music from 11pm until 5am
- Oleh (7/5): Good -
- Mikaal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (7/5): Good - I like how complete the kitchen was and accessible. Also the bottle of water in the room and napkin was a nice touch. It is literally outside the underground station. Toilet was clean as well but no place to hang your stuff inside and difficult to put in the sink as it was slanting. Some guests were also too loud, had music playing way too loud that you can hear them inside your room.Maybe put signage to keep volume down as other guests are also in the area.
- Simon (1/5): Decent enough room, in a great location. But only for people happy to queue to use the toilet... - Great location, and clean This hotel needs to be really up front about the fact that the bathroom and toilet is NOT part of your room. You share it with others, and have to go across the corridor to use it. Not great if you are busting for a pee, and find that someone else has decided to take a leisurely shower in it. Also not great if you need to get away quickly in the morning, and find again you are in a queue to use the bathroom. You get the picture. If you are happy with this, great, but I was really cross to find out this was the situation only after I had checked in. Also, not that easy to find!
- Eunice (6/5): Pleasant - Noisy my room was next to the main entrance and I could here all people coming in all night
- Kalpeshkumar (5/5): Passable -
- Aleksandra (6/5): Pleasant -
- Imran (8/5): Very good - Cleaniness. A bit noisy due to underground trains and smelly. There must be a pair of slippers for the toilet. A hair brush will also create a difference. I couldn't find a USB charging port there. Cutlery was limited.
- Ting (1/5): Do not recommend - Has towels, has a bed, has a TV, self check in Next room played loud music all night until 6am, the host does not care after messaging and calling
Room smells of weed, shared bathroom has pee on toilet seat
- Leighton (9/5): Better than others similar in the area - Very clean and well presented
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vladislav (1/5): Absolutely avoid this place. - Nothing. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with an accommodation. I checked in at 11pm and was forced to leave just a few hours later, at 2am, because another guest was blasting music at full volume all night. Sleep was impossible. I contacted the property owner multiple times. They said they’d move me to a different room farther from the noise, but never followed through. No help, no accountability—nothing. To make matters worse, the shared kitchen and bathroom were absolutely disgusting—piled high with trash, like a literal garbage dump. When I rightfully asked for a refund, the owner flat-out refused. Unacceptable on every level.
- Abigail (4/5): Nothing special. Just a place to sleep. - It was quiet. Internet did not reach our room. The WC facilities were very untidy. Floor carpets were soaked through and lots of people’s hair all over the place. Remnants of people’s toothpaste always in the sink.
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmed (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant -
- And (10/5): Will definitely stay again! - Excellent value for money, comfy bed, very clean bedroom and kitchen facilities. Will definitely stay again! Also very modern and stylish. Includes ironing board, iron, hairdryer and towels, as well as drinking water. A nice TV on the wall, cosy lighting, a nice little desk and chair, lovely grey bedding. Modern, minimalist and cosy! No window in my room and no windows in common areas. Loud washing machine noise coming from the room above 11pm-2am woke me up 3-4 times. (Unsure if that's part of the owner's premises)
- Jodie (5/5): Good location and ok for the amount it cost, wouldn’t stay again though - Great location Incorrect door code, Room was very hot even with air con, shared bathroom was dirty, bed was not very comfortable, only 2 plugs in room
- Al (9/5): Superb - Good Location. Toilets need to be a Shared with 6 Shared Peoples.
They have to improved it. Shower Warm Water Doesn't Work Much , others Wise Everything Is not bed.
- Liban (7/5): Good -
- Sakib (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shannon (4/5): Had to use the fan as white noise to get any sleep - Location
Close to the subway
Towel provided
Hairdryer provided
Tissues & water bottle is a nice touch
The fan installed above the closet was the only way I got sleep on Night #2. Creepy alley entrance
No windows in the whole place
No hooks anywhere in the bathroom. No shelves to place anything on. Only place to set anything is the toilet lid (gross).
No hooks in my room - where can I hang my towel to dry?
One little hook IN the shower next to the plumbing. What can you hang there? Not a towel, not clothes. It will be soaked.
Nowhere to sit & work.
My room was at the front door so I heard everyone coming & going. My room also shared a wall with the shared bathroom so I heard the door thudding shut (it has to be yanked to close fully).
I also heard the clinking and banging in the kitchen area.
Bathroom is all tile & I slipped twice on the rubber mat under the sink because the floor was wet from another guest. You have to step down some stairs from the shower & the toilet. The rubber mat is not secured and it went out from under me. Dangerous.
The first night I was so miserable with all the noise and could barely sleep.
Instead of a table lamp at the foot of the bed, there should be a reading light at the head.
Aldgate East station has no lift & my suitcase is large (obviously not their fault but frustrating combined with everything else)

- Divakar (5/5): Passable - Only location was close. That's it I was shocked with size of the room. I was not expecting box sized room. Maybe it's common in London.
- Hannah-beth (6/5): Pretty good value for money - good option if you want somewhere cheap for a nights sleep - Lovely bathroom, close to tube but down an alley which wasn’t that nice to walk down at night time. Room was good value but smelt a bit of smoke and had no windows. Super cheap so probably to be expected. Not bad value if you just want a cheap place to sleep
- Kay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rukshan (10/5): I got everything 100 times more than my expectations - I like mostly the welcoming gift🥰, which was besides my beds. Room was so neat and clean. Room decoration was so good. By seeing the first view of room, i make plan to stay one more night. But on the last time i am not able do this for my some personal problem.
Price was average.
Everything was more than expectations.
Kitchen was so good. Though It's not mention about tea & coffee, here i got loaded tea, milk powder and coffee.
Strongly suggest to stay here one night before chose another location.
Al the best.🥰
- Inamjan (10/5): Exceptional - A nice place for a nice price! :)
- Aleksandrs (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (1/5): Terrible stay, could not get in and could not go out of the accommodation as can not re enter again - Only received the info on how to find the entrance and the door key code very late on the day.
The key code for the door did not work so I could not get in and had to phone your help number and wait until someone arrived to try and sort out the problem which he still could not get the key cod to work.
Once I was let in I could not go out again because I would not be able to get back in again, this is stupid that I paid £45 for a room that I can not leave until Sunday morning and I should be entitled to a refund.
- Meah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oshodi (7/5): It's okay, but read the reviews - Location - it's quite alright as not too far from the train station.
It was secure and clean.
And the bed was comfy I booked the single room, which was a bit disappointing as I could hear the sound of the train and water flowing through the pipe.
No windows at all, got a bit stuffy even with the fan on. A bit concerning when the summer hits
it would be nice to have an extension plug and probably a mirror as I had to use the upstairs mirror.
- Nina (9/5): Excellent value for money - Amazing bathroom. Lovely cozy room and even tea and coffee provided in the communal kitchen
- Stefan (4/5): You get what you pay for... - Rooms clean and modern lay out. Location was good 2 minuet walk from Algate east tube. My room was key-coded. The cleaner tried to enter my room while I was still in it no knock or anything. My room was by the front door, and one of the other guests started banging the main door at 8am because they couldn't figure out the code. The cleaners were cleaning at 10am on Sunday morning. The room smelled like cigarettes. The room was next to the bathroom, so I was constantly hearing people coming and going, using the bathroom and the main door.
Just bad overall.
- Jonozero1 (8/5): Great spot, I was very happy with the room and the facilities. I would choose this again. - The location couldn't be better. Right next to the tube station, short walk to everywhere I wanted to go. Located at the bottom end of Brick Lane it was perfect. It was the perfect base for me as I only wanted somewhere comfortable to sleep. If you want a view from the room this isn't the place for you.
- Sakib (1/5): Bad -
- Sakib (1/5): Bad -
- Renata (4/5): I just need a bed and shower to have reasonable night sleep. Don't book there. You'll stay wake - The location, albeit confusing to find 1st time. Warm room. Noise, noise, noise, doors banging all the time people microwaving food 2 in the morning. People talking on the phone in the kitchen and corridors past midnight.
There so much noise an activity until late in the morning that will keep you wake.
A significant gap between the door room and the corridor that you could fell the chill when the main door in the building was opened.
- Aina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Oscar (5/5): Cheap, good location, not the nicest place - The bathroom floor was grimey and slippery and appeared not to have been cleaned in a while.
There was only one bathroom (with toilet and shower) for 6 rooms.
The room had a comfy bed but smelled chemical and had no windows. The house was not well sound-proofed.
The location was however excellent, and the price was very reasonable given the location.
- Milosevic (4/5): Disappointing -
- Turnsek (4/5): For the price it's good enough - Location Wet floor and other guests were loud at night
- Louis (1/5): Poor. - Absolutely nothing. The bathroom and toilet was very unclean, the shower would not turn on in the morning. At around half 11 in the morning of Sunday the cleaner told me that I should have turned the mains off then back on. Very poor!
- J (3/5): Poor -
- Agyei (6/5): Pleasant -
- Denitsa (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (10/5): Perfect for my needs - Great location, nice cosy room, very spacious bathroom, helpful friendly owner
- Damian (3/5): It’s not safe and you can hear everything around. - If anyone says this area is completely safe, I have to say it’s the complete opposite. I’ve never felt this insecure in my life, especially as two women staying there alone. The dark alley where the entrance is located looks like a perfect spot for something bad to happen.
In addition, I could hear the underground trains all the time. Every 1–2 minutes, it felt like the walls were about to crumble.
- Agyei (9/5): Superb -
- Matteo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Varinder (10/5): Exceptional - Room is beautiful
- Paulo (9/5): Superb - The room decor The missing window
- Tamara (7/5): Good - More than enough for a short term stay. Had all necessary things in the room and shared bathroom was very spacious. Very close to the underground station. It was a bit hard to find the accommodation at first. It would be beneficial to have an additional socket at the desk to charge a laptop.
- Enisa (1/5): Bad - Good bed mattress Verybnoisy
Staff being rude when calling for help
Room not properly clean
